DocGen for Salesforce

I need to include fields in a DDP from a record that is related to the DDP object via a lookup field.  The DDP object and the lookup object are the same.So if the DDP object was record__c and the lookup field was partner__c that looks up to record__c as well, I'm trying to get the fields from partner__r.record__c.Thanks.

Is there a report I can run, or another way, to identify which document packages a file is used in? I reuse the same file in many different packages, and I want to be sure when editing a file that I will not unknowingly break functionality in another package.

I am building a system that will be deployed to 8 different Salesforce instances and includes several DocGen packages. Is it possible to include the DocGen packages or do I have to rebuild them individually?

I notice one can create a workflow to auto-magically generate documents via a Workflow which invokes the Nintex webservices.  This process requires one or more Drawloop_Next# fields because each step is mutually disconnected, and so these fields are used to pass the various parameters such as attachments or delivery method.I notice when using the client-side Javascript button, all the parameters necessary for Nintex to generate the desired document are sent right up to Nintex just fine w/o any need for Drawloop_Next# fields; the user just clicks the button and checks the attachments (if any) and the delivery method. Could not an Apex Trigger invoke an Apex class (decorated with @Future of course) to automate the process similar to a Workflow, but possibly w/o the need to create one or more Drawloop_Next# fields since the Apex class could implement the rules

Per the instructions in your documentation for Conditional text in Microsoft PowerPoint, I am trying to enter the field tag into the cell range, but I am receiving the following error: "You must enter a valid reference you want to go to, or type a valid name for the selection."  Am I doing something wrong?  Please see attached screenshots.  I am using Excel 2016.

Hi Team,In word document which we have prepared I want to use IF condition in such a way that if the condition is True then it displays a table and if not then it shouldn't get displayed. What i did was created an IF statement from Insert>Quick Parts>Field i.e. IF Expression1 <> "" "Success" "Failure". After this I edited this IF condition to the image inserted below. So what does the above snippet suggest that if the Tagger field is not "" then it should display the table else it shouldn't. But when I am trying to do in such way i am getting failure. So can the team help me in suggesting that how can i display a table in if condition as per the image snippet attached above.

Based on the DrawLOOP docs and this question I've managed to get some simple conditional formatting applied to my output document (Word doc).  I'd like to go another step.  Is it possible to create dynamic tables based on conditionals?  For instance I have two Project types: A and B.  Can I use DrawLOOP to pull info from certain fields and display it one type of table if current project is type A but create a different looking table (with different content pulled from SFDC) if project is of type B?  I'm fairly new to DrawLOOP but the way I understand the condition formatting applied in the link above, this process is happening in Word.  To continue this way would require creating both tables in the output doc and rely on Word to display one or the other.  Can an entire table be wrapped in this kind of conditional?  Seems to me this should be handled at the document creation step- only create the

I have a field on the Opportunity products that I want to display in a field on a document. Is this possible?

I have a text area field where I don't want the table to show if there is no text. Using 'does not equal' to null, doesnt work, the table still shows with or without text. Then using 'is blank' works properly but I need it to work vice versa, if is not blank. Is there a way to achieve this?

In Lightning, when 'Generate Documents' button is clicked on a record, an error message appears indicating there are no DDPs. However, the button works in Classic, and did work the week of 7/17, when it was last tested. Please advise - screen shot below.

The document can be select and almost completes generation, then this message appears.  What does it mean?
