Our company has an email disclaimer, which I am attempting to remove from All Approver Comments (created via Lazy Approval), to create an approval history, to store in the list item.  I am using a Replace function, and including the entire disclaimer verbiage as the text to replace, but there is something going awry with my function, because the function and its parameters are being displayed in the results.  See attachment 1, items in red boxes.  Attachment 2 is a screenshot of the function formula.  Any help is appreciated.

I've got a standard flexi task, with delegation enabled. I've set the font in the email notification to be Calibri. However when the task is delegated, the user who it was delegated to gets the notification, all looks fine except the automatic added note at the bottom about who delegated it to them with the comments. This is still in Arial. Is there a way around this and apply the formatting to the delegation note too? Thanks!

Am able to add a user in any OU but unable to assign the user to a security group . It does not  matter whether I assign the variables dynamically or hardcode it (i.e the user and the relevant security group name) ,  the end result is the same . - error adding user to AD group . There is no such object on the server .I'm using the nintex Add user to AD group object .Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I am using a SharePoint 2010 form. I have a checkbox value. I am trying to check what the value of that checkbox is in 2010 Nintex workflow. However, it only allows me to check for yes/no when the actual values are returning true/false. How do I handle this? It doesn't appear to be going into my If action. Ughhhhh!

 Symptoms Rich Text control does not allow scrolling and is not selectable if it is set to Read-Only. This is 4.6.11. Diagnoses This was identified to be a bug, but a fix is available. Resolution A coldfix was provided to resolve this issue. 

 Symptoms When I try attaching the PDF (now saved in SharePoint) to the email, no attachment is included. I tried using the 'Get Document by ID' method.Based on http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2smartforms/userguide/4.6.11/default.htm#pdf_control.html, I was able to follow steps on use 'Save as PDF' control on a SmartForm and successfully save form as PDF. I was also able to attach the PDF from the default SmartObject source to the email. Works as expected.I modified the steps by saving the PDF into a SharePoint library instead of the default SmartObject. The PDF successfully saved to the SharePoint Library.When I try attaching the PDF (now saved in SharePoint) to the email, no attachment is included. I tried using the 'Get Document by ID' method.  Symptoms  A CSS error was getting caught by the developer tools when trying to load certain forms at runtime.SCRIPT5009: 'Sys' is undefinedThis was heavily degrading the rendering of forms.  Diagnoses  n/a  Resolution Check the following keys to see if they have been disabled.<add key="UseBundledFiles" value="false" /><add key="Forms.PostRenderCombining.Enabled" value="false" />Changing both of these to true in conjunction to giving Domain Users full control to the runtime folder resolved the rendering issues.    

 Symptoms K2/InfoPath timeout problem Diagnoses We recently configured K2 to point to two Active Directories (UK and LA). The connections seem fine. However, during testing of K2/InfoPath workflows we found that some users from LA when submitting an InfoPath form gives a timeout issue. Resolution The issue seemed to stem from the identity cache taking to long to retrieve the users once this had been resolved. So when the form is submitted the first time, it is unable to retrieve the users from LA and only the UK users, but on the 2nd attempt it is able to complete the submit successfully.This is a known issue with the identity cache not being able to populate users from multiple domains quick enough, a coldfix was applied to clients environment to speed up the time that is used to resolve/refresh the cache quicker. After this the performance of the cache increased significantly and this in turn brought back all the users from the US domain along with the UK domain. 

All of a sudden, when i edit a K2 Designer Form, the spinning green wheel takes a minute to opne a rule.Then when i do Finish, nothing happens, it stays on the rule. I can cancel the rule and no changes are saved... I can edit other projects with forms, but all of a suddent this form won't let me edit it... Any ideas what i can do?

 Symptoms Open a K2 smartforms list view with 2000 rows:Error: Unable to get property 'selectNodes' of undefined or null reference Diagnoses If only around 30 rows, the list view works. Resolution Coldfix has been issued. 

 Symptoms Form is referencing the 'Parameter with Name: _state' property on the Form that could not be found Diagnoses This was traced on a view on the form which uses the 'Navigate to another Form' action. Using 'Navigate to URL' works. Resolution A coldfix resolved this issue. Please log a ticket to K2 Support to request for the fix. 

I have a site collection in an our 2010 environment which has been made read only.On one of the items in the site there is a running workflow that has paused until 01/01/2017 (as per design).My question is, do you know if the workflow will continue on 01/01/2017 given that the site collection is read only?I am unable to terminate the workflow (presumably because the site collection is read only).

I have a list of team members called Team Members.   The team members are in a multi-value field Members.   In a Nintex form, I want to be able to do a lookup the current user in the Team Members list using the Members field.   I need to know if the current users is in one of the Members fields in Team Members.Is this possible?  If so how would it be done?  Everything I try with the lookup function returns #Value! .

 Symptoms Web designer will not open Diagnoses When attempting to use the web designer, the following message appears:(see attached screenshot as well)500 - Internal server error.There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. Resolution Issue:Web designer will not open.Diagnosis:Found that workflow web.config was corrupted. Deleted file and repaired Smart Forms.Resolution:After deleting web.config file and repairing Smart Forms, everything is working. 

I do not have if function available in my inline functions in Nintex 2010 workflow.  I am on version 2.4.8.0.  I tried manually typing if statement, but it didn't work.  See attachments for my formula, and the result.  Any suggestions?

Hi, I have a requirement to upload multiple files in a smartform and not able to do so. though i am able to upload a single file. if i try to upload multiple files only the last file gets stored. Any help is highly appreciated.i use sharepoint 2013 and K2 4.6.9 Thanks

Sometimes for whatever reason (perhaps an issue not found or thought of when developing such as someone inputting a date of 01/01/1900) numerous workflows get created for a particular list.Is there a way to limit the number of workflows that can be triggered for a list for a day such as 50.  Thus, if more than 50 workflows get created for a list then the 51st workflows and subsequent workflows would not run.

 Symptoms  Right-Click (Context Menu) Not Working  Diagnoses  Known issue with IE11.  Resolution Running IE in IE10 document mode allows right-clicking again. Workaround to apply this to all designers:Force IE10 Document Mode by modifying the 'X-UA-Compatible' HTTP Response Header on the K2 - Designer site in IIS. The current value was "IE=11,IE=10,IE=9,IE=8".  Next, run an 'iisreset' and clear your browser cache.  Removing 'IE=11' forces Internet Explorer into IE10 Document Mode for Designer SmartForms, which should resolve this issue.    

I am trying to make an Approval Status dropdown box required to be filled out. I have created a rule for thisand(isNullOrEmpty({Self}), not(equals({ItemProperty:Form_x0020_Status}, "Creation")))but I am not sure why it is not working. I only want the Approval Status to be required, if it's not in the Creation form status. Once someone submits a form, I want a manager to go in and change the Approval Status but right now it is not being required.Here is what the form looks like below:

 Symptoms Move K2 servers to a new Active Directory domain Diagnoses What is the best approach to move two servers to a new active directory domain. For instance you have one main domain, where all the K2 servers are hosted on and the second one is where you have your production, test and development servers, this is where the administrative users are.Is there any proper guidance on how to go about this ? Resolution To move to a new domain, you will have to update the security label within the K2 database.  Symptoms We are moving from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. We are currently moving documents over to a SharePoint 2010 Compatibility Site. When we use the Upload Document SP 2010 Wizard we get a Data at root level is invalid error. It looks like we are passing the wrong value into the Use Content field of this wizard. My question is how do I change it to use XML as mentioned on the suggestion? I am using a k2 data field on the "Use Content" field of the upload wizard. Diagnoses The issue was related to the wrong item reference being passed into the Use Content field. Resolution I was able to correctly upload the document from SharePoint 2010 to 2013. We need to target the XML of the SP 2010 Document using the Retrieve Document method. 

 Symptoms "There appears to be no Microsoft >NET framework installed on this machine" Diagnoses When attempting to generate a salesforce Instance using the BrokerManagement.exe application, I all the fields have been inputted correctly and select "Latest Available" under MS .NET version and click generate it gives the error stating the following:"There appears to be no Microsoft >NET framework installed on this machine"I have .NET 3.5, 4 and 4.5 installed.Can you please advise what needs to be done to register the instance? Resolution The issue could be down to not have having the .NET 2.0 SDK.:As a prerequisite to generating the service instance, the .NET 2.0 SDK must be installed.  Symptoms Happens when trying to deploy a process, the following error occurs here, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object Diagnoses When you have been creating a process using K2 Studio and when loading up the deployment side this fails with the following:"Object reference not set to an instance of an object".Is there a way to get past this error ? Resolution If the events within the activity have been copied and pasted then this can cause an issue here, so for future reference it is a good idea not to do this approach. The only way to get around this is to re-do the copied events or activities as a whole in order for this to be deployed here.  

 Symptoms We have an On Prem Appit Environment. When we tried to make K2 artifacts we were receiving an error. The error mentions a missing MobileDisplayFormURL that is missing as a parameter. If we do not choose to use K2 Smartforms as the default SharePoint New/Edit/Display forms we do not get the error. Diagnoses This is an issue related to the CU for SharePoint. There is a parameter that was added to SharePoint in these CU's that was not here before, and Appit 1.5 uses it to get the Display form URL. 1.5 now requires the SharePoint server to be on the August 2016 CU at least. Resolution Updating the SharePoint server to the latest CU resolved the issue.
