Nintex Workflow

Hi When i am adding a table in the send an email action, the table is always not in line with the email body, either too much space between the bottom of the table and the next paragraph, or the words are next to the table. Is there any way to fix it? Thank you!For example, if i have the below in the setting, the actual email will have 7-8 empty lines until the next paragraph.

I am trying to use a File Upload Control.  Ultimately I need to store it to Azure Blob Storage, but for now I just want to store it to OneDrive.  I cannot find an example of how it is done.  According to documentation I have to set up a Default File Storage, but I don't have that option.  I have File Upload Storage.  I guess that is file, since it is saving the attachment as a Collection Variable.  What I don't see is how I am going to get that variable to store it to One Drive, or eventually to Azure Blob Storage.Regards.

I am trying to convert an O365 workflow to NAC. The O365 workflow has multiple tasks, and for each completed task the name of the approver and approval date are written back to the SP list which initiates the workflow. This is done is by giving each task a unique name - e.g. “Director Approval Task - ID*List Item ID*”, and when a task is completed, the task approver is captured by querying the task list for the Modified By field of the task with the unique name (all tasks are first responder, so there’s only ever one completed task with a unique name), and the date is just the date the update list action is executed (because it happens right after task completion). How do I replicate this in NAC - i.e. on task completion, locate that specific completed task, so that I can grab the approver name and approval date?

Hello, how do i put the task form link from an “Assign a task” task inside the body of the mail instead of having it in the footer Text? Thanks

I am working on upgrade my workflows from O365 to NAC. I have one workflow that I am currently working on. It generates a document from information in a SharePoint list and stores that document in a SharePoint library. I want to update several fields in the library, but I can’t get the columns to populate. The document makes it in, I believe that I have all field types correct. If I log to instance details, the start variables show the correct information. I am wondering if the Update List Item action can even be used to update a library item? Or is there something else that I am missing?

Hi, How to I retried a file uploaded from File Upload control in Nintex Forms (Nintex Workflow Cloud)? I need to retrieve the file, store it on Shapoint to be referenced later when sending an email. RegardsMdu

I’m a little confused with this action. I supposed it due to how I interpreted how it should function initially. SharePoint Online - Copy or move a file (nintex.com) Can we not move a file to another folder within the same library? It doesn’t appear there is a true “move” functionality using this action. The reality is, it just copies files, and allows users to have the ability to put the copies anywhere and delete the original. The ability to “move” a file is misleading. Moving the file would imply we can preserve the system ID and all other information/details (metadata) and just simply move it anywhere else in the library, like into another folder etc.

I have a workflow that fetches a list of files from a SharePoint list and attaches the files and needs to send the file through Microsoft exchange online send email task. I can’t figure out how to attach a list of files as attachments to the Microsoft exchange online send email task. Can anyone help?

Hi,I’ve created a Task in NWC to send an email with multiple attachment files via Microsoft Graph API SendMail. This uses a jason string to construct the message. I have a the string below representing one file to be sent with the email.{     "@odata.type": "#microsoft.graph.fileAttachment",     "name": "‍file.pdf‍",     "contentType": "text/plain",     "contentBytes": "h5+9v8pGhhIHNOKBHU3jLVRWUtpw355h"} I need a way to append additional files in this exact format . How do I append to a string in NWC to form one String?

So here’s my problem: i have two fields, one named Family and another, subfamiliy. I want the choices available in subfamily to be displayed based on the choices made in the Family field. You can select from 4 differents families, where each one has a specific familiy code. So if you were to select in the family field “AAA - Value 1”, the only choices appearing in the subfamily field would be A01 - Item 01, A02 - Item 02 and A03 - Item 03. Both of those fields are data lookups from two different sharepoint lists. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how i could manage this? Thanks

I am running a test migration of an existing O365 workflow to NAC. All the task forms have our company logo at the top, and that logo is stored on the same SharePoint site as the list that the workflow is triggered by. During testing I’ve noticed that sometimes the logo - a 32KB PNG - doesn’t show (for the same account), and instead the missing image icon is shown. This is in Edge, the browser we recommend our users use. I’ve never encountered this issue with O365 workflows, so I’m wondering what the cause is/ how to avoid this, and if perhaps there’s a better place to host images used in NAC forms?

If you are going to use the action “Terminate workflow instance” for the first time, you may have a look to the related help page and will notice that you would need a Nintex Automation Cloud connection. So you open related page to see how to do so. If you don’t expand this topic, you will see this: So you navigate to the settings page to find the Client ID and the Client secret. You will find nothing. So you may start googeling and waste your time. If you expand the topic you will get the information you need:Why is such an important information not presented directly? Anyway:The client ID and client secret required when adding a connection must be generated from the tenant settings page, using the Apps and tokens tab. View an existing app to get the Client ID and Client secret, or create an app to generate the client ID and client secret. So in my case, I added a new App as I didn’t had any. After that you need to click on the three little dots to view the Client ID and Client secret:

I have an SharePoint 2016 workflow where the Scheduled Start Times are set as follows 7:30pm start Mon. - Thurs. 6:30pm on Fri. 3:30pm Sat. and again Sat. at 5:30pm.  I don’t see this functionality in NAC. Are there any workarounds to get this accomplished?

I am using Nintex Automation Cloud with SharePoint Online and Exchange Online. The goal is to create a calendar item in the calendar of a user, making it a meeting by inviting a number of additional users as required attendees. But the action does not seem to allow that at the moment.I can directly add a collection variable for the Attendees field. But not matter what that collection contains (e.g. email adresses), it seems to not have the correct format for the action to consume it. Choosing a multi-user field of a SharePoint item as the source for the Attendees field does not work as well.     I can manually add an Attendee by cklicking “Add attendee” - but there seems to be no possibility to make that dynamic. I tried adding an attendee and setting the Email field to the concatenated email adresses of the users (either colon or semicolon), but the action doesn’t parse that and just tries to set that complete string as a single attendee.     I even built the attendee part that Graph

Hi - i have a workflow failed due to Semantic.ParallelBranchLimitExceeded but not sure why. One of the branches is “Run if from a repeated sections of tasks → lead to component workflows” but only run if i select Yes, maybe it is the cause? However i do not know how to fix it. The error occurs when i select No but i expect the workflow will skip this branch. Thank you vm!

Dear Nintex Support Team,I am using PowerShell to interact with the Nintex Workflow Cloud API, and I am encountering an issue when retrieving instances. My goal is to retrieve more than 100 instances from the API, but currently, I am only getting 100 instances, even though the site contains more. Here is the PowerShell code that I am using to make the request:# Set the Nintex API URL$url = "https://eu.nintex.io/workflows/v2/instances?pageSize=100"# Set the request headers$headers = @{ 'Authorization' = "Bearer $token" 'Accept' = 'application/json' } # Make the GET request using Invoke-RestMethod $response = Invoke-RestMethod -Uri $url -Headers $headers -Method GetI have noticed that the API limits the number of instances returned in a single request to 100. However, I cannot find information in the documentation on how to retrieve all available instances.Could you please provide guidance on how to retrieve more than 100 instances from the Nintex Workflow Cloud API using PowerShell? I am creating a form in NAC and would like to prevent someone from resubmitting a form one after another. I understand that you can query Workflow Instances of a form that has already been submitted using “Get a workflow’s instances” data source. However, how do we query the USER that submitted these instances?I am inserting this information to a database on a workflow submission, but in the time it takes to do that while the 1st submission is still processing, a user can submit a 2nd form while the 1st submission is still waiting to be added to the database.

This may be a newbie question - I have a form where a user uploads an image that I want to display on another form. I have the file upload object in my first form and have set it to allow one image only. I have extracted that file from the collection in my workflow. How do I get the URL out of that file object to use it in the second form?

We are working with repeating section and having qty and unit price. I am able to display total price for each line item. But having difficulty to sum up total price of each line item in repeating session. This needs to be display outside of repeating session. Kindly assist.

While trying to update an SharePoint online document from Nintex Workflow Cloud I'm getting the below error. Is it possible to catch the error and notify the admin (maybe by email) on this error or alternatively if the workflow could be updated to support co-authoring on the SharePoint online document that would be good too. Please help, any advice or alternatives would be appreciated. Thanks
