Nintex for SharePoint

I created a Nintex form in SP 2016. The list has a field called, "Contact User." The Nintex form has a few command buttons. I want hide certain command buttons if a user other than the one listed in "Contact user" edits the form. How do I accomplish this. Is there a built in function? Should I use a workflow? Appreciate your help. Mayank

I have a sharepoint list that tracks tasks that people need to do. Each person has their own item with their name (people picker) then  column is a question "did you submit the expense for this month" with radio button 3 choices yes, no, not yet. I want build a site workflow that counts how many items record and counts how many items have a reply of no or not yet then sends an email showing how many no's and how many not yet's. I have never built a site workflow before (only did basic list workflows to update an item). Can any one guide me on how to build this 

I am using "SQL Request" in a Nintex Form. I need to use a variable in the select statement's WHERE clause. I am getting this variable (var1) from the Form's URL query string using fn-GetQueryString(var1). I can add a Label in the form to display the value, but unable to use it in the SQL Query. Please let me know how to use such parameters in SQL Query in Nintex's SQL Request.

Hello, i am trying to run the actions to move attachments from one request form to another and first step in the process was to user call web service action. when i set up an action and test connection, it gives me OK however, when i try running it on the preview, it is giving me 500 internal service error. Strange thing is that when i run the workflow it is running from beginning to end without errors but doesn't give me desired result. I've created a flexi-task with four options. Approve as Requested, Approved with Modifications, Cannot Accommodate, Needs further discussion In the task form that the responder completes to indicate their decision, I need other fields to show based on the specific decision. IE; if it's Approved with Modifications, then I want to ask what modifications they need, etc.  I have a rule in place, for the single line text field asking "what modifications are needed"when:Decision!="Approved with Modifications" Hide This hides it but does not then unhide it when "Approved with Modifications" is selected. I believe it is because the "decision" isn't formally logged until pressing "save" and reporting back to the task, but I cannot figure out a workaround and don't want to fire off a second form.  I'm in Nintex 2016 which doesn't have the "save and continue" button option, nor does it have

Hi all I am working on a process that includes a Flexi task that up to 4 individual approvers have to review independently and concurrently. Unfortunately, the workgroup has now brought to my attention that there can be instances where the data can change. In this case, the existing in-flight approval needs to be revoked (as the information is now incorrect) and a new one sent. I am unsure how to manage this and definitely don't want the people interacting with the form having to go in and terminate the existing approval then run the workflow again.Looking for any ideas please. TIA  😀

Nintex for SharePoint 2019:Looking to have an easy "drag and drop" tool to allow a user to place a xlsx file into a document library, and have it add all rows into a specified list. The xlsx file is always the same format, column format, etc..I see where I can build a collection variable using Query Excel Services, but that appears to only be for a single column.  This list has 30 columns.I do not want the client to have to convert to CSV and do some reg expression collections and "pop".  Just drag and drop.Do I need to create a collection for each column prior to going into a "for each" process?Could not find any tutorials, YouTube's etc. for a multi-column Excel.Thanks!!

I have the following issue:Once I submit the form item is created. Subsequently the second item is created within the Workflow (for this I am using Create Item action).When I view an item, all data are displayed correctly, apart from those which are related to SQL Request control. I have a customer who has a reusable workflow which runs on a document content type. Nintex Version is 2013 onprem (3.2.4.0 - International) - Standard License Now the problem is that the reusable workflow template was created in a subsite and that subsite is now used by another workflow as site template for generating new team site collections.And now there are already about 60 team sites generated from that template with that reusable workflow in place on the content type for many of the libraries. Now when changing the original reusable workflow template the changes are not transported to all the child workflows on all these site collections. But additionally when opening workflow inventory or manage reusable workflow templates on one of the newly created site collections, there is no workflow shown. It looks as if there is no workflow but when uploading a document in one of the libraries with the content type the right workflow is

I have a workflow which creates a list item when a document is uploaded into a folder. The work flow grabs the filename using it for a title, creates a hyperlink to the document within the library and I have one more field I need filled out but haven't been able to figure it out. Within the word doc (docx) there is a line which reads "Owner: TitleofPosition". What I need is to be able to look into the document and grab the string "TitleofPosition", so I can fill the Owner field in my list. Is this possible? Cheers.

Hello, i was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction. I am building state machine workflow with nintex responsive forms and multi stage approval tasks. The workflow is as follows: 1.  Create a request with basic information on the form (this kicks off the approval process)2. Task is created (email is generated) to approve a form with comments and attachments from approver3. Form is approved/rejected which kicks off another task for another approver to approve or reject with comments.  Is there a way to include the comments and attachments from step 2 (1st approver) onto the form for the second approver to see and review before they approve the form? Or is there a way to move the same form through the approval stages with comments and approvals accumulating on the same form? So far I am creating two different forms for two different approval tasks.  I am using Nintex forms for SharePoint (not 365) if this matters

I am using Nintex classic form on SharePoint 2013 list. Form has following fields in sequence which queries data from master list 1. Region: list lookup to master list 2. Country: list lookup to another master list where mapping between country and Region is available 3. Business unit: another independent master list =====this is the one with issue==== I have a separate master list where mapping of mapping of region / country / Business unit / LeaseId is present. 4. Hi All,  I'm trying to get a workflow together that will query a large list of items, divide them evenly among a number of people that may vary (there is another list that sets a persons status as to whether they will receive anything that day) and "assign" the items to them. I have a list workflow that assigns one item, then starts the workflow on the next item but that is taking forever.  Is there a way to do it as a site workflow that will query all of items, divide them and only assign those to person one, then do the same for everyone else?   

Hello there;I have a problem when using the hidjri calendar in the Nintex Forms for SharePoint 2019 on prem.when I try to compare two dates and calculate the diffrence of days between them I used dateDiffDays() function and it didn't work for me however when I switch to the georgian calendar it works perfectly ? do I have to use any code when manipulating arabic language in sharepoint besides the hijri calendar ? is there any one who encountered this before? please helpForms for Sharepoint On-Premises

We are currently using SharePoint 2016.  My company wants to have employee request forms in SharePoint be saved to a general SharePoint list that takes parameters (ID, form type and effective date) after the form has been completed and approved.  We are converting old paper forms into Nintex Forms then using Nintex Workflow for the approval process.   Instead of asking the user to use the Save to PDF feature in SharePoint we would like the completed and approved Nintex form to automatically be saved as either a doc or PDF then save the document to a central SharePoint list that is grouped by employee id.   I've tried the Document Generation & Copy to SharePoint Nintex Workflow Controls but have not been successful.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,In my Form there is Lookup List Country, if Brazil is selected, then 2 additional fields need to be highlighted, it would be hidden other wise.I am drawing a blank on the Rule that i have applied. i am using the same rule for both the fields.not(contains(Country,"Brazil")) - BCA & Operation and Finance Responsibles.The BCA is Obligatory is based on the section in BCA - This is working.I have attached the part of the form.Here we have to select the Region based on which the Country will populate and on selectin

So I have a form with a people picker field that is an "assigned to" field. I need to know how many are assigned to a task. I used a calculated field with the following fx:count(Assigned To) It gives the right answer if I have two or more assigned; however, It will return 18 when I have only one entry.Any Ideas?
