Nintex Automation K2

I realize that RDS isn't supported by K2, but I'd be very grateful if anyone can share any real experiences connecting to RDS. We don't want to use it for our K2 database, but some of the systems we integrate with want to move to RDS. Here is what I've found with my initial attempts. I connected to an RDS database and used the SMO tester: I can call create, list, and delete on SMOs that are directly against tables I was able to call a database view and view results. I called 2 stored procs. One of them returned data and one didn't. I can't tell why the one didn't.Any experiences with RDS would be very helpful to me.

Hi Mates,We had a cloud environment configured for our client.  we are using the K2 Dev integration account to authenticate with K2. To test the workflow Rest api. I had used the postman. In Postman we are trying to retrieve the list of all workflows. Using my id it's working fine. but when I used K2 Dev integration account (*personal details removed*). I am getting below error "Message": "Authorization has been denied for this request.".I am using the Basic Authentication mode to call the workflow API from Postman. will it work? K2 Dev integration account has global administrator permission on AAD. I have granted Admin, Export & impersonate rights server rights to this account.  Can you please let me know what permission is required? how it can be works

Can anyone install on Version 5.3 in an Smart Startes, with an User other than the ServiceAccount? With the Service Account the Smartstarter Apps get installed, but as soon as I try it with an other user I get the error Message: "Unable to deploy the app, please review logs for detail". (I attached a screenshot)https://community.k2.com/t5/K2-Five/Cannot-Install-Smart-Starters/m-p/103777#M810Since Publishinge Rights can't beset directly(because the SmartObject security is deprecated on 5.3), I set on the whole categories Node is Everybody + Allow for ever Right.(There are no entries in the SmartObject Security Node, which also can't be edited) And in the logs only the same error message can be found: "Unable to deploy the app, please review logs for detail" The App Administrator gets a Mail this the Info:...--- ERROR DETAIL ---MessageAn app catalog exception has occurredDetailPlease review the following article for debugging suggestions: https://k2.com/help/apps/catalog/installerrorTrac

Hi All,I have an AD group in one of the K2 roles and mails are not triggered to the group members as part of mail event. However, individual users who are part of these K2 roles are getting the mails.I have observed that when I add an AD group to a K2 role, its display name is coming as account name, where as when I add a user, email is coming as account name. K2 is considering this account name to send mails and this is why mails are triggered to the users and to the AD groups. Thanks,Pradeep

Hi, Are there any provisions, where we can provide Read only access in management page to developers so that they can track instances in PROD without being able to do other admin functions? Thanks,Anand V

Is there a way to easily print a workflow view for business users? I'd rather not have to recreate a visio diagram for them to see their process, if possible. Thanks.

Hi Team,I would like to expose the error profile instances out of K2 to another system using REST API. How we can achieve this in K2 Cloud.

Hi I have K2 Roles that we use to easily manage the Users in the application. I have added AD Groups to these roles rather than to add a bunch load of users manually. Now, i send out Tasks as well as Emails to these roles by using the Role or "Get Role Users" respectivly to actually get these out to the users. Firstly , Tasks are not assigned to Users in AD Groups (it does send out to indivual users)Secondly, When Executing the User Role or URM User Smart Objects, i do not get the users that are in these AD Groups. However, in some situations SOME AD Users from the AD Groups will show up in the  URM User. Is there a setting perhaps on the K2 Five Server that allows these AD Group Users to be resolved? Am i Missing something? I have found this:   Please Advise

Hi All, I am using Excel Import Broker Link .  able to transfer column like name, empid but getting null values for email id and date.*personal details removed*25/10/2019 Any help Thanks. Regards,Hemant

when I create a smartobject based on a wcf  ServiceObject the input paramters of the service object always appear as REQUIRED for example graph.UpdateDocumentFields(String username , String Colour = 'Null) will apear in the smartobject tooling as INPUT PROPERTY NAME   TYPE REQUIRED Bound To username                              TEXT      YES         parameter username colour                                     TEXT      YES         parameter  colour  I would expect to see INPUT PROPERTY NAME   TYPE REQUIRED Bound To username                              TEXT      YES         parameter username colour                                     TEXT      No          parameter  colour

If I have a list view with filtering enabled, is it possible for users to be able to use the filter against columns that are not displayed, but are part of the smartobject populating the list view? It seems to only pick up the columns that are visible when setting a filter or searching the list. As an example if my SMO returned the following properties:Name Position Manager Department OfficeMy list view only shows:Name  Position  ManagerHow can I enable my user to search/filter against Department & Office, without showing those fields in the list view?

I have a user that is wanting the below: On the "My Submitted Items" tab, it should sort by Request Status 1st, then effective date. We want all DRAFT items to appear at the top of the list, in case a requestor forgets to submit something it will show on the top as DRAFT status. I don't see that I am able to do this in K2 Designer via list view...am I misisng something?  How can I accomplish this? Thank you.

We have upgraded our K2 server from K2 blackpearl 4.6.5 to K2 Five 5.3 this month. And now, there is one legacy workflow has bug need to fix. Which K2 Studio version shall we use and where can I found the download? Thanks.

A task is assigned to multiple users, but not all users are required to action the task. When one of the users open the task, the users that opened the task have their task status changed to 'Open', and the other users should have their task's status changed to 'Allocated.' But it is not happening in K2 5.3. Even if one of the users open the task, the user who opened the task have their status chnaged to 'Open' and other users have their task status chnaged to 'Available' Is there any settings or why the status is not changed to 'Allocated' in K2 5.3?

Hi, I'm trying to create a Smart Form with a drop down list to dynamically populate the list with all Workflow Templates in the System which the user has access to.  Is there anything out of the box to do this? If not, can anyone advise the best way to do this? Thanks!

Hey everyone.I have 2 dlls, one I created and one referenced. I created the .NET class library using visual studio. C# and nuget , Now I want to use the same .NET library. In a k2 workflow. Now here is the worry. I used a Microsoft interop from Nuget which makes it 2 dlls in this case.I can register the dll (my own I created in visual studio) and use as a smartobject. Now if we can remember, the other dll (Microsoft interop) is used as a reference to my own main class library.Question is, how can I add Nuget libraries so that my own dlls can out rightly reference it before I convert to smartobjects.
