IssueWhen accessing Nintex Promapp using Single Sign On users are forced to login using their Domain login each time.   ResolutionThese settings are controlled by the Identity Provider. Contact your organisations IT team to change the setting that is requiring a forced login for the SSO application.Â
IssueA Process may show a Global Owner or Expert when it is not a Process that has been vaired ResolutionThis Process may have previously had Process Specific Variations that have since been archived. The terminology 'Global' remains on the Process. To remove this terminology create a copy of the Process and then archive this copy.   Â
IssueAfter receiving the reset password email from Nintex Promapp, the user selects the link in the Email to reset their password. After doing so, the are redirected to a site that displays the message, "There is a problem with this website's security certificate."  ResolutionEnsure that the sendgrid.net domain is not blocked by their organisation.Another note: If you are in the APAC region and have issues sending email or clicking on links in their emails, have your IT team whitelist the following:em7937.promapp.comem7498.promapp.com.auu10337472.wl223.sendgrid.netu10337472.wl223.sendgrid.netÂ
IssueImages included in Nintex Promapp Processes are small when expanded.   ResolutionUpload a larger image to Nintex Promapp using the Replace with New Version option in the Process.Â
IssueThe following error may be received when attempting to delete a Process Group:Your request could not be completed at this time please try again later or contact your Promaster ResolutionTurn Process Specific Variations to ON in Admin > Configure > Variations Restore the Process that previously had a variation associated to it Archive the variations Archive the Process Turn Process Specific Variations back to OFFÂ
IssueA role may appear twice associated to the same Activity in a Process. ResolutionSwitch to the edit tab of the Process Edit the Activity that has multiple roles associated to it Remove all the roles from the Activity and save Add the correct roles to the Activity and save Additional InformationThis may happen following a role merge depending on the state of the Process at the time.Â

IssueThe Nintex Promapp reports may not be populated with any data and filters may be not be available. ResolutionHold the control key and press F5 to clear cache for the page and re load the page.Â
IssueA Process that is at version x.x (e.g. 1.2) may not be included in the Published Processes count on the Governance Dashboard. ResolutionThe Process may have been previously archived and subsequently restored. Once it is published again, the Process will be included in the counts.  Â
IssueFor some users the dropdown box of users may fail to populate when creating a new Process ResolutionIf the user clicks away from the dialog box, the box with the users may populate and can then be filledGet the user to check with their IT team, as it may be extensions or browser related on their computer.Â
IssueThe Nintex Promapp Process Changes not yet Viewed Report may show Processes not on the users Dashboard ResolutionThese changes may have occurred before the user was added to Promapp. In this case the notifications are not generated however if the Processes haven't been viewed they will be included in the report.  Â
IssueDocuments included in unpublished Processes cannot be archived.  Resolution1. Publish the process2. Edit the document and select archive from the cogwheel menu Additional InformationThis may have occurred due to a change in the Process Approval workflow mode leaving some documents in this state or similar. Â
IssueThe error "Contact your Promaster" may be received when Publishing a Process ResolutionEdit the Process Select any Activity or Task to enable the Save button Save the Process Publish the ProcessÂ
IssueEmails requiring acknowledgement of a Process may be received even though the Process has already been acknowledged and there are no further acknowledgements required.  ResolutionTry turning OFF Process Acknowledgement for that Process and then turn it back to ON.  Â
IssueA Incident/improvement treatment may not be be able to be opened from the Audit History ResolutionThe Treatment may have been deleted from the system. It remains in the Audit history however cannot be opened.  Â
IssueWhen entering Process content spelling mistakes may not be picked up by the spell checker ResolutionNintex Promapp doesn't have its own spell checker, this is controlled by browser behaviour.  Chrome or Firefox:Check the browsers language and spell check settingsInternet Explorer or Edge:Check Windows operating system spell check settings. The setting is found in Settings > Devices > Typing.  Additional InformationYou may need to contact your IT team if these settings are restricted in your organisation. Â
IssueYou may run into an issue where the picture doesn't upload correctly into the PowerPoint ResolutionOnce you download your Process Map, right-click > Open with Internet Explorer > right-click on the map and Internet Explorer will allow you to save the image as PNG file.OrUpdate your Microsoft Office to a newer version of Office 2016.  Additional InformationWhy is this happening? - Because we download the Process map as an SVG file. Older versions of Office do not support SVGs.Here are the steps you can take to download your Process Map into a PowerPoint:- Navigate to the Process Map that you are exporting - Select the Download icon in the top right corner - This should download your Map. - In your PowerPoint, go Insert --> Pictures --> Insert the picture you just downloaded. Related LinksPowerpoint 2016 SVG fails to import correctlyÂ
IssueWhen trying to delete a global variation, user gets error "...currently has variation processes that have been changed from standard process. It can not be deleted." ResolutionRevert the variation in question back to STANDARD. You should then be able to delete. Error Code"...currently has variation processes that have been changed from standard process. It can not be deleted." Additional InformationThe process where the variation was reverted away from STANDARD could have been archived, so check archived processes as well.Â
IssueUsers may report the following issues:Nintex Promapp freezing when saving Processes Nintex Promapp showing the spinning loader constantly while saving Processes A user getting notification a Process is locked for editing, however cannot save when they proceed to edit A user getting notification a Process is locked for editing, however they know that user is not currently editing the Process ResolutionLogin to their site as Promapp Promaster Append the following command to their site URL /admin/api/clearprocesseditorscache and press enter e.g. https://au.promapp.com/TENNANTNAME/admin/api/clearprocesseditorscacheThis should return a confirmation message in the browser.Â
IssueAn Approver that has been added in the RACI section of the Process may not receive the Approval notifications and their Approva.l was not required ResolutionThe Process needs to be published to add the approver to the required approvers list.  Once the Process has been published the next time it is submitted for approval the Approver will be required to approve.Â
IssueWhen selecting a Document from within a Process a Whoops error may be given. ResolutionThe Document may have been archived. Check the Document archive section for the Document. Either restore the document or remove the document from the Process. Error CodeWhoops, that wasn't meant to happenÂ
IssueAdding a 'Required Role' to a training unit adds Trainees to a Training unit ResolutionThis is the expected behaviour, while the users are not scheduled in the training yet, all users included in a 'Required Role' are added to the Training Unit, as all these users should complete the training. This gives the Training Owners & Supervisors a view of who should be trained and their training status.  When generating a training unit report, please also be aware that the training units for the role will appear in the report for that user.Â
IssueThe Process map and Procedure tabs may appear empty following Publishing of a Process.The message No activity steps have been added to this Process yet may be displayed on the map page. ResolutionClear the output cache for the site by appending /admin/api/clearoutputcache to their site URL.https://<CustomerSiteURL>/admin/api/clearoutputcacheÂ
IssueActivity Numbers in Nintex Promapp may appear to be numbered incorrectly or missing numbers as shown in the image provided below: ResolutionChange the role in the activity that does not have a number from Non Display to Unassigned or another role that is appropriate.   Additional InformationThe Non Display role is used when the activity is not part of the process flow - and in turn shouldn't be shown on the map - sometimes this is used to provide keywords or other information.  Â
