I’m testing the latest release of skuid in our sandbox org, and am wondering where these half-visible links to view/edit using the standard objects are coming from: Hover text reads: “Open the default view page with nooverride in new window”I’ve checked page properties, and searched the XML, and I cannot find any reference to these links. I’d prefer that they not be displayed.
I am planning to create a new skuid theme for mobile. We are currently on skuid version 11.0.2.Am seeing loading message for ever.
We have reached our limit on API calls a couple of times this past week and it appears to happen when some people are editing Skuid pages. I’m able to see the API call log very quickly for these users, but when other users are doing the same thing the API call logs doesn’t grow nearly as quickly. Can you think of any reason for this?
I am receiving an error for a new user. “1. A Skuid Model, ‘page’, requested a Field with relationship name ‘skuid__Last_Modified_Date_Check__c’, on the skuid__Page__c Object, but Skuid could not find a valid Field accessible through this relationship name. Please check that this Field actually exists on this Object (or on any related Objects). If it exists, then ensure that the user has permission to access it. If it does not exist, remove it from this Model.”Why?
Skuid, what should our expectation be for response time from a skuid representative on this community? Thanks!
I have a skuid image attachment lookup field on an object, and I have some external data that I’d like to migrate via the Salesforce Data loader. Any good instructions on how to set up that migration? I know how to insert data to the salesforce “Attachments” object… but how can I insert to the skuid__Image__c object in such a way that the images will be correctly attached to my custom object via the lookup field? Do I need to first do an insert to the skuid__Image__c object, and then find a way to make the connection via my lookup field on the parent object? Any recommendations?
When a new user/new Skuid page user logs in for the first time, they are presented with the Salesforce classic home page. The app associated with their profile has two tabs, “Home” (which can’t be removed) and “Skuid UI” (which on click takes them into Skuid). The Skuid UI tab is a visualforce tab. After the user has initially logged in, clicked “Skuid UI” tab, then they are permanently in Skuid pages, even after logging out. How can I ensure that when I setup a new user, they immediately go into Skuid pages, and not Salesforce classic, without having to login as the user myself? Skuid UI visualforce tab page ```
we have been using skuid pages in visualforce for a while as publisher actions and pages in salesforce1. They are still functioning and visible in chrome emulator but are blank on actual devices. I have tried iphone X and Iphone 6plus Is this a bug? Obviously a pretty big problem as we were planning to release an update to our app. I am seeing these errors on the emulator console:https://community.skuid.com/t/skuid-visualforce-pages-on-iphone-are-blank/edit
Wondering if anyone has a way to remove the 0 values from charts as it provides no value to my users.
we are doing migration from Classic to lightning, so i want the architectural solution for Launchpad in lightning from classic. For this i tried it on Through App builder creating Lightning component If suppose it’s a record page, go to the App Builder just drag and drop the Skuid page. First, we must identify the Skuid pages we have to migrate from Classic to Lightning experience. Here is the procedure: Within the Lightning App Builder The lightning App Builder lets you drag and drop Lightning components into any section within the page’s chosen template that means you can drag one or more Skuid pages anywhere you would like within that template But in App builder and Lighting component i’m getting the same error. If any one help me out on this is highly appreciated. Thanks…!
I am trying to get a custom pop up behaving correctly following the clicking of an event record in our skuid calendar view. The pop up is a page include and the following query string (which i’m guessing is the problem) is sent: ActivityId={{$Model.All_Events.data.0.Id}}If my calendar view has 10 cards being displayed with different events, and I click on any card, the pop up will show the same event record every time, regardless of what event card I click. What do I need to do, to ensure that when an event card within a calendar is clicked, the pop up shows the event associated with the card clicked, and not some random event?
Skuid version 11.2.6 just installed, and we have a Lightning based theme. Required fields in a read only field editor are displaying a RED colored field label: Old behavior is that these would only turn red when in Edit mode (along with the outlined input box.) Any workaround css until this can be fixed?
This is not any big deal…but just noticed these links are still referencing old tutorial/documentation pages Link goes here: https://docs.skuid.com/v11.2.5/en/skuid/components/queue/
We have a Skuid page where we are using the save/cancel buttons on a table. If you view the skuid page in preview mode the button labels show correctly as save or cancel. However when you view the skuid page within a lightning component the buttons incorrectly show [skuid.save] or [skuid.cancel]. Does anyone know why this might be occuring?
This ONLY happens if your model is set to Process Client Side:As of Spark 12.0.11 using pages in v1, having a field with required at the UI-level and marking “Add None Option” causes the field to always default to that none value, even if there is already a saved value in that field. This happens if you have a custom none label or not. As noted above, the fix is to uncheck Process Model Client Side
I have a chart with default date (Created Date) granularity set to “Calendar Month.” I give the users an option to switch the granularity to “Calendar Quarter.” Changing the date granularity on chart from the default clears the data and switching back also leaves the user with no data. Take a look: https://cl.ly/622e764ec653
In the Spark form component, when you add the save / cancel buttons to a read with inline edit mode, you can open up the fields for edit mode using the pencil icon and then update them, which activates the save/cancel buttons. When you hit either of these, the form remains in edit mode rather than returning to inline edit, which is the behavior of field editors in V1.
Just paid my Skuid bill and see they have integrated skuid to a payments processor. Which reminded me of 2 unanswered questions. Has anyone done a paypal integration or know of someone who can provide the data source connection? This would be a great data source for Skuid to provide with a sample interface.
v12.0.8Textarea field is not expanding to proper size or showing the return characters in a table or form in readmode. When you edit it in the form, the rows are shown correctly. However, modifying the textarea throws a lightning error:[Cannot read property ‘getAttribute’ of null]I.onTableKeyDown()@https://smithsinterconnect–subsystems.lightning.force.com/resource/1553396064000/skuid__next/js/sku...Proxy.l._cpi.(anonymous function)()@https://smithsinterconnect–subsystems.lightning.force.com/resource/1553396064000/skuid__next/js/sku...Proxy.i()@https://smithsinterconnect–subsystems.lightning.force.com/resource/1553396064000/skuid__next/js/sku...Link to gif:https://drive.google.com/open?id=14S-49QUxYAdA9FfVi19FgjDYyrzZ4wZN
I ran into this very minor issue, so this is just an FYI: If for some reason, you start your field alias with a whitespace (or accidentally paste a whitespace into the alias), some *things* happen like the values won’t render in a table: Check your alias, remove the leading whitespace, and everything’s fine.
I’m really struggling with this one… I need to have a checkbox on my Community Self-Reg form that says “I agree to the Terms of Service”. Salesforce allows you to designate a field set that includes fields that should be added to a community self-registration form, but there are limitations with this - 1) I’d like “Terms of Service” in my field label to be a link, and 2) checkboxes are displayed within the self-reg form as text - likely a bug. So, I thought I would use a Skuid page just above my self-reg form to create my checkbox. My checkbox appears at the top of my form and looks great. But - I need a way to validate that the checkbox has been checked before the user clicks the “Create Account” button. Is there any way to have a Skuid javascript listener on my page that could check for this box and impact whether a standard Salesforce button can be clicked? I believe that the logical alternative to all of this is to create a Lightning Component for my self reg form, but I would
Is there a way in either the table properties or the design system to set the padding on text in a table - it is super generous at 16px by default, but I see no way to tighten it up. Am I missing something? Thanks!
When referencing a model’s child relationships (e.g., in template merge syntax), what is the difference between {{myChildObject__r.records.length}} and {{myChildObject__r.totalSize}}? Without any record limit or conditions on the child relationship, I assumed records.length would give the total number of child records for a given parent, but noticed a discrepancy when viewing a parent record with over 200 child records. The latter (totalSize) is giving me the correct number, whereas records.length shows 4. This was also the case when looking at the model’s properties in the console. Again, I have not set any record limit or conditions on the child relationship. This is on version 11.2.1 – not sure if this is relevant to later versions, but I can’t update this org just yet. Thanks!
I just upgraded to Spark and I’m trying to recreate a Case page from v1 that was built with a Tab Set component and with Left Tab Bar Navigation. This would display the tabs vertically. The new Tab components in Spark don’t seem to have the same options. Am I overlooking something or is this functionality not available in Spark? This is the v1 tab set with Left Tab Bar Nav that I’m trying to recreate in Spark
Hi Skuid Support team, I previously posted this error message on another thread, but moving this to it’s own thread to help gain visibility here in the community, and hopefully get a response soon. We’re intermittently experiencing the error message screenshot attached below. To give you context, we’ve developed a CPQ solution that runs the Skuid page in a lightning component on the the Opportunity page. The solution works well on its own, and we don’t experience the issue when the user lands on the Lightning Opportunity Page after using SF’s Global Search Bar. However, if the user clicks into the Opportunity from another related record (e.g. Account or Quote), the error consistently appears. I also get this error message when moving the location of the Skuid Page as a Lightning Component within the Lightning App Builder. What I’ve done: Solution is built in sandbox and ready to deploy to production. This was caught during UAT. I made sure to generate Page Support Files for my in-lin
