I have two objects like Teacher and student and i created two models. I have created two tables with two models. I would like to search Teacher object with the student record.
Hey all, I am getting an error when trying to save records that trigger a Lightening Process but only when I do it from the Skuid interface. Here’s the intended series of actions: 1) Contact record is created OR edited to meet certain criteria 2) The criteria trigger a Lightening Process3) The Process calls a Trigger-Ready Flow (Visual Workflow) 4) The Flow updates a field on a sibling contact to the original contact that meets certain criteria Now, when I trigger the Process by updating a field value on a contact using the STANDARD Salesforce interface, the whole thing works like a charm. The field on that contact’s sibling contact is updated as intended. However, when I trigger the Process by trying to update the field value on a contact using the SKUID interface, I get the following error: It seems to be some particular effect of the Flow interacting with Skuid, because as I mentioned, it works just fine when I override the Skuid interface and do it from the standard interface. Than
When I click on a item in a queue, I see following Javascript error in the console. I think this is related to the recent upgrade, but I am not sure. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'element' of undefined. It is referring to the h variable in the minified code in the runtime.js file in this function &nbsp;k = function(a) {&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; var b = a.element.children(".nx-queue-loader");<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; b.addClass(".nx-queue-loader-ended"), b.animate({opacity: 0}, 500, "linear", function() {<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; b.remove()<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; }), h.element.find(".nx-queue-item-selected").removeClass("nx-queue-item-selected"), a.element.addClass("nx-queue-item-selected")<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; };
I’m looking to pull in the value of a condition through merge syntax. Can we do that? I was thinking something like {{$Model.MyModel.condition.0.value}}.But nothing I try seems to work.
Is it possible to specify the model.createRow() call to create a new row in edit mode? I apologize if this has been posed elsewhere, I could not find something the exact same, only this post about making an edit button which I could not get to work in this situation.I know how to do this using the create new row action in the UI, but was looking to do it in JS. Any ideas? Thanks!
Just making sure I’m not missing something. I don’t see a place to include model actions for mobile page models.
Every time I click “clone model” in the mobile page builder, I’m given a brand new blank model instead of a clone. Is it just me?
First of all, charts are awesome! Thanks for all the hard work. I know they’re still in their infancy, so not sure if these features are available yet…Is there a way to modify the formats of any of the numbers displayed on a chart?I’d like to show data axes values as percents, and truncate values calculated by an aggregate operation. As an example, it would be awesome if this schedule rate could be displayed as “47%”
One major concern in my team about Skuid is the seeming lack of a proper MVC support. Visualforce pages have backend apex controllers that perform necessary logic to produce the variables that they use. They are separate from the logic as the View. Skuid on the other hand seems to expect you to make a component which does the Controller and View part in javascript. You can use the template component to render the contents of a model, but that’s limited to rendering model contents as far as I see.I see you can embed a Skuid page inside a Visualforce page and use the variables in the apex controller behind it, but again, it seems to expect you to create the View in javascript (which is rather unwieldy).Another nice Visualforce page feature is remote actions embedded in the javascript. Not sure if Skuid has as convenient a function, but it’d be good to know about. So in summary, I’d just like to know how others are doing this, and what the recommended procedure for proper MVC development w
Hi support, I assigned hotkeys / keyboard shortcuts to buttons that navigate from one wizard step to the next. They are working great, however produce a strange anomaly which leads to steps being skipped in certain scenarios.1) I have “Back” and “Next” Page Title buttons on each step of the wizard (a pair on every wizard page). These are not the native wizard navigation buttons. I used a page title to have more flexibility with my layout.2) Clicking on “Back” or “Next” runs the snippet posted at the end of the message here. Clicking on them with the mouse produces the expected results without fail all the time, navigating to the actual previous or next tab of the current tab in context3) Executing the script via the assigned hotkeys (CTRL + leftarrow for “Back” and CTRL + rightarrow for “Next”) also results in navigation on each hotkey pressHOWEVERThe “Back” button triggered by hotkey reliably goes to the previous tab of the tab in context. The “Next” button triggered by hotkey always g
File upload option in skuid mobile page is working well but file upload component is not working in Community. Please let me know how to fix it.my findings via developer console, UploadImage visualforce page is works fine when the url is https://skuid.cs6.visual.force.com/apex/UploadImage?id=but in community… the URL will changed to https://mydomain.cs6.visual.force.com/…. so that file upload component is trying to access the below URLhttps://mydomain.cs6.visual.force.com/apex/UploadImage?id=and its says URL not found error(404)…
Hi team, I’m trying to save some load time and screen real estate by removing SF header/sidebar on my Skuid page. On the left I have the page with header, loading the design and layout as expected. On the right you see the same page without modifications, just with the “Show Header” box unticked. All text and many design elements are magnified and it seems that some different styling is applied as well (or not applied?). https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7448865/SFheaderCSS.pngIs this usual behaviour? Is there a fix for this? Do I have to include or reference some additional CSS in my Skuid page for the layout to be preserved?Thank you in advance!Regards, Robin
When creating a model on the UserFeed, and including either of the the Photo Url fields, the model returns no rows. If you remove the Photo Url field then everything seems to work fine. Example page: <skuidpage unsavedchangeswarning="yes" showsidebar="false" showheader="false"> <models> <model id="UserFeed" limit="20" query="true" createrowifnonefound="false" sobject="UserFeed" doclone="" type=""> <fields> <field id="CreatedBy.Name"/> <field id="Body"/> <field id="CreatedBy.SmallPhotoUrl"/> </fields> <conditions> <condition type="userinfo" value="" field="ParentId" operator="=" enclosevalueinquotes="true" userinfotype="userid"/> </conditions> <actions/> </model> </models> <components> <skootable showconditions="true" showsavecancel="false" searchmethod="server" searchbox="true" showexportbuttons="false" pagesize="10" createrecords="false" model="UserFeed" buttonposition="" mode="read"> <f
I’m being asked to build a chart for the Calls in the Task object. I can filter based on the Names of WhatId and WhoId using other models to do this. Issue I have is that I’m not sure how to get the labels on the chart to reflect data in the models used to populate whatid and whoid of the Task object.Does anyone follow?Thinking maybe I label the chart with the relevant Id’s, and replace them with javascript after the chart is loaded.Thoughts
Goal: On load of mobile page show events where the Date__c field is today. Swipe left to see events for the next day; swipe right to see events for the previous day.Since the mobile page builder doesn’t have tables and filters, I’m using javascript to interact with a condition on the model. The model starts with filterable condition Date__c = ‘TODAY’I wrote the following nextDay snippet: var model = skuid.$M('ApptInteractions'),<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; condition = model.getConditionByName('Date'),<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; curDate = condition.value;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>var jsDate = skuid.time.parseSFDate(curDate);<br>jsDate.setDate(jsDate.getDate()+1);<br>var nextDate = skuid.time.getSFDate(jsDate); <br>model.setCondition(condition, nextDate);<br>model.updateData(); The problem I’m running into is that condition.value = ‘TODAY’, which apparently is not a date. So I end up with jsDate = FALSE.I could use the Date__c fiel
I would like to select records from a table and then use the mass action option to redirect to another skuid page where I can view information on the different records selected on a single page. The problem that I am having is that I can’t pass any information through the URL from the mass action option and even if I could, how would I set up a model on the new page to capture this information? I don’t think that I would be able to use a pop up either. Any ideas of how I could do this?
Hi there - Is it possible to automatically refresh a page at a specific interval? I am making a sweet dashboard that we would love to put up on a big screen. I’d like it to refresh itself throughout the day. Any ideas?
I need to execute some jQuery on some DOM elements inside a tab. I’ve tried doing this on the ‘pageload’ event, but that doesn’t fire when you click on a tab (and the DOM elements within the tab don’t render until you do the first click). Is there another event I can use to be notified when the tab is rendered? Is there any documentation on the events that are available (other than the few on the model in the developers guide)?Thanks!- Chris
I am trying to find a way to allow the user to include an Attachment Description that goes in the Attachment object “Description” field when using the file upload component. I don’t see a way to do any Actions on a file upload to add it. Has anyone figured out a way to do this?
Hi,I’m having issues trying to conditionally render a button based on a new row being inserted into a table. I want a button to render based on a value selected in a pick-list field. I have my model set to ‘Create new default Row if model has none,’ so that there is already a row in the table/model when the user first navigates to the page. The render condition seems to be working fine when selecting a value for this first row in the model (without having to save), but it isn’t working when clicking ‘+’ to add a new record to the table and then selecting a value for the new record in the table. I want my render condition to listen to all rows in the model and render the button if one or more of the records in the table have a certain value.I greatly appreciate any help on this! - Thanks!
We have a need to show a table of Tasks with a primary function of assigning ownership. All of these Tasks have a WhatId of a Case, but using standard SOQL we can only see the “generic” fields of this relationship. If I was coding this I could use TYPEOF, is this something that is available another way in Skuid? How do we show fields from the related Case (read-only) that aren’t part of the standard WhatId relationship on the Task (must be able to inline edit the Task)?
We’ve got 4 custom lookup fields on a detail object, which each relate to a specific image of the vehicle being stored (interior image, exterior image etc). We want to prevent users from uploading files larger than e.g. 500kb, (for faster page loads when previewing images, and these images will be transferred onto a document)Would it be possible to limit the size of attachments uploaded through the file component?
