Nintex for SharePoint

Good day, I tried multiple things before writting, but i'm stuck on removing some duplicates on my form. As you can see, i have 3 lookup columns that are getting there informations from multiple lists. Those column are meant to get the value of one another when i select them as im going down on the form.. I tried this solution : https://community.nintex.com/t5/Community-blogs/Three-Tier-Cascading-Drop-Downs-Do-Go-Chasing-Waterfalls/ba-p/82985 but it gets me multiple value in my lists which could be confusing if we have to add some items. Also, does someone have solution to get items from one lists instead of multiple. 

I need to redirect users from an old workflow form to a new link and location. I want to put a message with new location, but I do not want to disable the old form because the requests need completed. Please advise.

Greetings: I'm using Nintex workflow on SharePoint 2010 and find that I get an error when trying to CC members of a group, specified through a Person/Group workflow variable. However, I can send the notification using that same variable in the To field. Also, I can send to that same group if specified directly in the cc field instead of using a variable. It appears that Nintex (or SharePoint) cannot lookup the addresses of group members in the CC field when specified as a variable. The error I get when using the CC field with a Person/Group variable is something like:Failed to send notification. Cannot get the full name or e-mail address of user "521". Is this a known issue?  Thanks,Bruce

Hi,I've created a Form with a repeating section. This section is connected to a multiline plain text field. The form itself, is edited multi times, by multi users. After the form is saved (New & Edit), a workflow is activated. So far so good. But randomly, the data in the repeating section is lost. First I thought that it was happened by the controlsetting Disable the control when the user is not 'the owner'of the repeating section line. But when I remove this setting, the problem still remains. The whole section is in a Panel and that one is Disabled after a particular Status. Its driving me mad. Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug? The version of Nintex is 5.2.1.30.

Hi All,    We have run into an issue and wondering if anyone else has come across something similar.    We have a custom app built in app studio connected to our on prem SharePoint Farm. We use Airwatch (or Workspace one as its now known) for MDM and set up a per app VPN on this app to post back the forms when submitted. Once the App is installed the VPN opens and allows the user to login but then we encounter the problem. The next time the user opens the app the VPN does not come up.    It should activate when the app opens which will allow the Nintex app to post the outbox forms back to our sharepoint but it doesnt appear to even try to bring the VPN up and just states no network connection. All other apps (non nintex) work perfectly. I can even open another app to bring up the VPN and as it stays up until it timesout i can then open the Nintex custom app and it will work as the tunnel is already established. Just seems like the Nintex app is not even trying to connect when the VPN i

I have a site workflow that has a single start data value of a date/time variable called dtTodaysDate. In the workflow I have the variable set to default to "Today's Date", show on Start Form, required and display as Date Only. Note that I have built a start form in case a user needs to run the workflow adhoc passing in a specific date.When I schedule the workflow I want it to run daily indefinitely and to use the current days date. When scheduling, it prompts me to select a start date for dtTodaysDate, I left it as the current date and saved.The first scheduled run was correct using the date shown in the start variable. Subsequent days however always use that same first day as when I scheduled it.I know it is possible to do as we have another scheduled site workflow doing this but I can't seem to figure out how it was done.

How do you access attachments, that are included on a form, from a Flexitask approval screen?

Good day   we have a workflow running where it needs to go through a series of approvals. each time a document is approved, it adds up the versions. eg: one person approves and it moves to stage 2, then when final approval takes place, the document is on version 2. is there a way to prevent this?    

Is there a rule/function that allows you ensure that you have at least two days from a specific date for the current date and time? I would like that if someone selects that they want a task completed within the same day that the form accounts for 48 hours i.e. two days for completion. The requestor will see that they selected today's date but it'll be present them with a completion date in 2 days with a note that you cannot select same day request. Also, is there a rule that understands that if the expected days is in more than two days that it doesn't need to present them with the rule/note. I am just trying to account for at least two days if same date is selected and if more than 2 days is selected then no issues.

HiI am trying to query a list in a separate SharePoint 2013 site collection where the site collection URL is stored in a single line of text column in the current item (also SP 2013), this is because we are referencing multiple site collections using this list and the workflow needs to follow this principal.I have also saved the link as a text string variable within the workflow just in case.For context: I want to query a specific target list item (ID again is stored in the current item) and known column from the separate site collection and save content as a multi line variable, append additional data using a build string task then write the new string back to the target column using an update multiple Items task. Simple, or so I thought. However I am getting a "Site URL contains multiple reference tags, Please manually replace any remaining tags:" popup, followed by a "Cannot access site at http://xxx" dialogue whether I use either the current list item or variable, so failing at the

Hello All, I currently have a simple nintex form that populates a list in sharepoint. I want this list to be updated such that, if an item exists then it should be updated rather than creating a new duplicate item.We do not have sharepoint designer hence i will not have access to any nintex workflow. Is it possible to achieve the above either in list or nintex form without any workflow?Thanks

I am trying to create a reusable workflow and I want gather information from a task that was created by the workflow.  Because the workflow, once added to a library, allows selection of the task list, I need a way to find the task no matter which list.There is an value in the Lookup details > source dropdown labeled "Association: Task List".  I am assuming that this should be the list that was selected.  However, when I select that value, I am immediately presented with the following error.It doesn't matter which site I'm in, it's always the same except with a different GUID.

I have spent a lot of time looking for documentation and guidance on two things for Nintex External (Live) Forms:1) which Nintex services are required to run to enable external forms to work properly, and2) which services should run on which servers in a multi-server high availability SharePoint 2016 farm Details of my SharePoint 2016 on-premises farm: 2 web front end servers in a DMZ behind a load balancer, 2 application servers in the internal network, 2 SQL 2017 AlwaysOn servers in the internal network.  I've installed and deployed Nintex 2016 Forms Enterprise and Workflow Enterprise successfully (workflows and forms work fine) and have run Install-ExternalPlatform, even though that supposedly happens during the install process, so it theoretically is not a necessary step. I have a workflow running where request is submitted via one list and then the workflow is creating multiple items to another list that will then worked on by different users. I need the initial request list to be accessible to everyone in the bank (no restrictions), so for permissions on the list, i chose everyone and gave them contribute access. I had it tested with the user and although user is able to access the page and create a new request, my workflow is throwing the error below: " the workflow couldn't update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require different type of information"  outcome: access denied. When i create the request (as an admin) or users who have edit permission to all sharepoint pages created the request- the workflow is working. Seems like there is an issue where sharepoint is blocking the creation of the item in another list from the original list if the user on the original list has access to that list only? Hello, Briefing, A Nintex list workflow is published in a SharePoint 2016 Document Library. It will check if the file is a .docx file type. If it is a .docx file type, the workflow would take the file name and convert the document to .pdf file type. At this point, the library contains the .docx and .pdf file. When the .pdf file is available, the workflow should call a web service (copy.asmx) to use the CopyItems web method to create a document in a SharePoint 2010 Document Library. Afterwards, the .docx in the SharePoint 2016 Document Library is to be deleted. I am successful to creating the .pdf file in the target destination. However, it is shown as 0kb file size. The content of the document is not being populated. Question is: How do I get the .pdf document to encoded to base64 string via calling of a web service? Then using the base64 string to populate the CopyItems web method.

I am trying to use the execute SQL action for ODBC connection. The system DNS setup is done and tested the connection successfully in ODBC Data Source.When I trying to test the connection in Execute SQL, it does not success and showing "Error testing ODBC connection".This is the connection string that I use : "Driver ={Oracle in OraClient19Home1}; Dbq=Name; Uid=User; Pwd=Password;"I would like to know, is it the right connection string format or not. Dear community, I'm currently facing huge problems while trying to transfer a workflow-and-form-solution from our test-stage to our uat-stage. What was done until now?I've saved the corresponding list from the test-stage as a template and re-imported it on the uat-stage. There I have created a new app from the template. There is a Nintex Listform as a part of the solution. It is working fine. And then there is the workflow.After importing it to the list, it is running, but everytime I try to use the flexi-task based forms in the workflow, I get the error as described in the subject "The form is referencing a field that does not exist. Please notify the form designer."How could this be? The columns in the lists are identical. Could it be the workflow task list, that is causing this problem?I even tried it in a sandbox example, creating a new workflow with only one action, a flexi-task with nothing but the basic configuration. I am currently working on k2 integration with sharepoint.I am using list view to update documents to SharePoint site.I am uploading document whenever user uploads attachment after pressing add button in list view but now I want to delete uploaded document in SharePoint if user  selects one attachment and press delete in list view.I am using data label to keep track of Id of SharePoint.but when user uploads more than one attachment data label value overrides. Because of that even if I delete first uploaded document it deletes last one whose ID stored in data label.How to store all IDs in data label and delete the particular row in SharePoint.In my list view I have SharePoint ID ,document to be uploaded,link of the item.I am planning hide both ID and link. Once I upload document I get ID and link of items in other columns and document disappears.I don't know how to get ID from that row.

It has a number of choices (Refuser, Approuver, demande d'information), and I need to hide  or disabled the choice (demande d'information) based on some condition. I have Nintex Form which prints with merge fields as PDF. When I am printing via the Form Editor(without merged data) PDF output is perfect but when we print actual form with data It seems the letter are broken. Has anybody face this issue & resolved?Correct output Incorrect output with Merged data. I tried with wrapping some special characters but still no luck.
