Nintex for SharePoint

As a Site Collection Administrator I work with multiple site collections in the same farm, but don't have access to farm. I've created UDAs that I'd like to use in multiple, but not all site collections in the farm. What's the best practice?

Hello everyone.    I was just wondering, is it possible at all for a Sharepoint workflow to pick up a file from a network drive, capture a specific section of the content and display the captured section as an image on a sharepoint page?   This would really be a great feature related to automating display of reports that sharepoint users could benefit from.   Any advice most appreciated!

Hello Team, Haven't found this question on the board, but is it possible at all for Nintex to copy the content of a file from a network drive and paste it on a Sharepoint-automatically generated and sent email?Use case would be a file would be saved on a network folder and through Sharepoint workflow, that file will be picked up by a Sharepoint Workflow and its content will be captured as an image (say it's a list of top 10 Sales personnel on an Excel file)  and pasted on the email body. This way, the recipient of the email will not have to open the Excel file to see the list.  Any thoughts much appreciated. regards,Ron

Hi,I am struggling with a lookup field and multiple entries using collection operation - hope someone can support me.At a sharepoint list there is a lookup field to select one or more group names. The related list contains group names and members. I use "collection operation" to get all group names for current item. Stored them as "Lookup Values, Comma Delimited" to have only names in this collection (at this time there is already a semicolon at the end). Example: "name1,name2;" Afterwards I am using regular expression to split entries by "," and getting "name1;name2;;" Problem seems to be that "query list" during a "For each" does not like ";;" so my result is just members of group name "name1". Question: I guess removing the semicolon at the end would be the solution? Are there other ways to solve this problem? If I use string in collection then I get "14;#name1;#15;#name2;" back. Thanks for your support in advance

Hello, First post here.  Using Nintex, I've created a lookup from 1 list (List A) to pull a calculated column from a list (B) on another Sharepoint Site under our collection.  This works fine and it appears as expected as a drop down selection on 'New Item Form' for List A.  But the saved selection doesn't appear as a column, and I don't see it in the list of available columns in List A, it seems embedded only in Nintex.  Is there a simple way to correct this without a workflow, and if not, a suggested path to follow to create one? Thank you,

Can we get some clarification on how Nintex Forms & Workflow should be installed for a SharePoint 2019 Farm using the MinRole functionality.I see there's some forum posts that go back a few years now, but since then Microsoft has further refined the MinRole Feature and added the hybrid roles (WFE + Dist. Cache & Search +App). This addition has made the MinRole Feature much more attractive for SharePoint Farms and seems to be the new best practice going forward for 2 server farm deployments. From what I can see the technical documentation mentions that Nintex 2019 Forms + Workflows supports MinRole but the information on this is not comprehensive enough. SharePoint 2016 on-premiseIs there a way to delete all workflows that show in the Workflow Inventory List for a site? The workflow inventory shows six workflows and all should be deleted because they are no longer necessary in the site.  Have many sites where the same workflows are published to when the site is created via workflow, but now need a method to delete those workflows when the sites are no longer active. It looks like the workflow that publishes the workflows from a library could be "reversed" to delete the workflows, using SOAP request.  Deleting the workflows from the hidden nintexworkflows library doesn't delete them from the Inventory List.

Hi We need to create a new expense Claim process with excel. We would like to make it automated (Input data, Save excel file, Expenses cell totals are automatically imported into Library Column)Docx has Sharepoint properties but excel does not unfortunately.Was hoping theres an easy way to do this with Nintex.Ive looked at "Query Excel Services" but i cant seem to make it work for meLooking forward to the assistance Kind regards 

Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie here learning Nintex on the go. I'd like to send two different email notifications to a user and manager depending on whatever option is selected on the Nintex form but can't seem to get that working. Any ideas how I can get this workflow working? Thanks

Is there a way to prevent a user from creating another new form which already exists in the sharepoint list?  For example, there is already an item in the list with ID # A and name of Joe John.   A new person, goes to the list to create a new item.  Nintex form appears and they enter ID # A and the name of Joe John.   Can it flag them, while still in "new mode" to say that there is already a form with the same ID # and name to stop them from creating another one? There should not be 2 forms with the same ID # and name in the list.   I want to prevent the new user from creating a duplicate entry in my nintex form.  Thoughts? :smileywink:

Hi Folks, i have a css field in Nintex Form [Settings Formular > Userdefined CSS].hello { color: red } Can i change it via Javascript [Settings Formular> Userdefined Javascript] when a List Variable is true ? Like ... If List Variable "Sky" is true then change the css ".hello" to {color: blue}.   

I am experiencing strange behavior in a repeating section. For some reason my form isn't expanding when I use a date control in my repeating section 🙄 This is the form with the repeating section without the date field.  When adding a new row the attachments control moves down like normal. After adding the date control to the repeating section the attachments control is overlapped and disappears.  These are the settings of the control, which are default. All ideas are welcome!

looking for Tab functionality with Next button option in each tab we have 3 tabs where we need next button in each tab so that when we click on next button it needs go to next tab and save option should  be in the last tab. I see lot of blogs with JavaScript but I don't see that option in my form. Thanks in advance 

I'm not sure how to start this question.  I have a list workflow that creates an updated contact list in csv format and emails it.  The work flow is set to run each time an item is updated.  Recently several contacts in the list needed to be updated.  Each time a contact was edited a .csv file was emailed.  So in a span of 5 minutes there were about 10 .csv files of the contact list sent.   What I'd like to do is give the user a choice of when to run the work flow, by popping up a message after they hit submit/save.  But am open to anything that will allow them to only run the work flow when they are done with their edits, not after each edit.

In SP 2016, I want to create a Nintex Workflow. The user shall manually enter a library name. The workflow shall then retrieve all documents and folders of the library and perform some logic. Logic involves updating metadata or field associated with each document   What are my options. I was thinking of using CAML query. But then how do I use CAML query to update a field.    Any ideas would be appreciated.   Mayank

Hey,i would change CSS Attributes or SHOW/HIDE a html line via Javascript. In that case:I have a RichTextField in NintexForms (i need this in a richtextfield) , html like: <div class="HEIDI">Hide this</div>or<span class="JAVASCRIPTID">Hide this</span>  CSS in Nintex Forms if CSS is neccessary: .HEIDI {display: block;} So if my list variable "LIST_blocki" is true the html should be blocked like display: none; I´m pretty sure i need Javascript for this and I want realise this with a Javascript ID in the html field. So i should work with a <span class="JAVASCRIPTID"> ? Can some one explain how this gonna work ?Huge thanks!

Workflow not continue to run after a "Pause For" action."Pause For" action is configure to pause for 2 minutes but after 2 days still not completed yet. No error been thrown.  Have other items running the same workflow but do not have the same issue.Thank you.

How do I add 16 pages to a Nintex form? Via the configuration menu I only can add 10 pages in Nintex Modern designer.

Hello,I have taken over a workflow that has been poorly designed using a 1 year pause action before the item is deleted...Because the workflow runs as the initiator but permissions are changed during workflow exectuion removing contribute access to the initiator, after the 1 year pause the workflow gets into error (no right to delete item).I have fixed the workflow for new submissions and used powershell to change permissions on items with running workflows that are in pause state so items can be deleted when they reach the date, but the older workflows are in error (a couple of hundred).My question: is there an relatively easy way to do a mass update on this list to end the running workflows in error and delete the related items ? I don't see myself manually ending all these workflows one by one. Thank you   

Hi there Our environement consists of Nintex Workflow for Sharepoint 2013. We recently upgraded Nintex to a newer version: Current version installed is 3.6.2.0 The database version is 3.2.6.3 We hadn't updated nintex in a long time, previous version was 3.0.8.0 (July 2014).  Overall, upgrading went smoothly and nothing broke, except that the workflow preview page has become extremely slow (when it's even working). Up to 2 min to load a single page. Sometime I cannot edit an existing workflow and IE would simply crash or become unresponsive.  The page is _layouts/15/NintexWorkflow/Preview.aspx?ListId=XX&Running=false&ItemId=XX&WorkflowId=XX&mode=Runtime&InstanceId=XX The performance issue happens on every workflow, on every web site and every list item. I have looked at the UPS log but cannot find any errors in particular, I have also ran a SQL profiler in an attempt to identify if the slowness could be coming form there but no luck so far. I hope someone can give me

Hi, I am using a rich text editor field within a repeating section. Is it possible to get this repeating section to autopopulate a rolling count of repeating section? For example: 1st rich text - Job 12nd rich text - Job 2 3rd rich text - Job 3and so on... Any ideas?

I have bunch of documents libraries in a SP 2016 site. Need to write a workflow that will allow the user to choose or type a library name. After that, the workflow needs to query all documents and folders in the library and perform some logic on each one of them.   I intend to use collections and for each loop. How exactly do I query all documents and folders in a library. Would it be Query list or something else?   Appreciate your help in advance.   Mayank
