Lookup from Subsite O365

Hi everyone, Currently I have a Helpdesk Jobs list and a Resources list (sites and contacts etc). These lists are on the same site /STW/Helpdesk.From the Helpdesk form there is a Nintex look up field to sites on the resource list. Gotcha's with Pause Until Date?

Are there any gotcha's or things to worry about with the Pause Until Date action, especially when applied to lots of line items, and long duration (e.g. 12 to 18 months)? I'd like to start using them with lots of major processes, mainly as email reminders 30 days before expiration dates, but trying to gauge the reliability before I do so.

How to hide a panel from user if it's the same as Name Field

Hi, We have a form with a strange request - it can be completed on behalf of a user, but a user cannot complete it themselves. So, I was trying to disable sections of the form if Current User == NamedField. That formula doesn't work, so if there is another way to do it, please let me know  We're using Nintex forms/workflow for 365 and SharePoint Online.

How to create subfolder?

Hi, I'm using Nintex Forms and Workflow on Office 365. I have a Document Library where I have created a bunch of new Document Content Types, examples includes "Custom Folder", "My Word Document", "My Excel Document".The Document Content Types also has metadata included (eg. Title (default), and Industries). I am trying to create a Nintex Workflow that will check if a new item is created based on the "Custom Folder", if it is, then I want the workflow to create a bunch of sub folders within the Custom Folder. I have done some searches online, but all lead to an action called "Create Item", but what is only available to me is "Create list Item", which has a different set up than "Create item". So the question is, how can I automatically create sub folders under the parent Custom Folder?  and then also set the metadata to inherit from the parent?

Getting and formating the current date in Workflow for O365

Anyone have any ideas how to get and format the current date in Workflow for O365? I can't see a build string action in Workflow for O365 nor the fn-formatdate() function. Is this functionality not catered for in Workflow for O365? Thanks for your help.

Why do the task outcomes have to be in lower case?

Hi, So I think I'm going a little batty, but for some reason, whenever I define the outcomes for a task, the outcomes are set to lower case, except the first letter. So Escalate to John becomes Escalate to john. Is there anyway to stop this happening? Is this something I've done? I'm using Nintex forms for Office 365 by the way

Can you interact with a form (click on a checkbox) while it is in Display mode?

I have a yes/no checkbox that has a rule to hide the repeating section unless the box is checked. However, in Display mode you cannot click on the box to display the information. Is there a way around this?

Mandatory fields ignored on published form but ok on preview

Today I am seeing a confusing behaviour (Office 365 Nintex Forms):- I have a content type with several fields that are REQUIRED- I design a Nintex Forms (keep default generated)- Preview its design and I can see all the fields that are required do not  let me save, that's goodNow I publish the form and click NEW - and select my Content Type nameI check which fields are mandatory ... only the title. I have check the Content Type several times to make sure the columns are REQUIRED and they are.I reseted the form to default, even delete the form and checked with the standard SharePoint form which shows the mandatory fields correctly, so it seems to be down to my Nintex Forms having an issue. note: this behaviour is the same in Nintex Mobile too

Error: "CompositeTaskAction - load : TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of null"

I am receiving lots of errors in the workflow product, and most all have to do with a 'length' of null error. For example: On the Start a Task Process action, I add it to my workflow, then go to configure it, then I get the following popup: Oops! Something went wrong.If the problem persists, contact your support team with the following information:CompositeTaskAction - load : TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of null And the configure form looks all jacked up and is unusable if I close the error. I get the same error on several actions, in particular:- Start a Task Process- Assign a Task- Create a List Item At the same time, there are lots of other actions that are working just fine, like Logging to Workflow History, Send Email, Set Variable, etc. I've attached a document that shows the popup as well as what the configure forms look like if I close the error popup for a few of the actions.

How to I unpublish nintex o365 form and revert to the original InfoPath form?

I want to be able to unpublish a Nintex form on a list and revert the list to use the original InfoPath form that was there. I know the InfoPath form template is still in the list. Can this be done? If so, how? Thanks in advance.Dean Virag

Parallel block actions with conditional action why does it get reset to incomplete when we re-open the List Nintex workflow?

I Have a multi step workflow with parallel blocks and am using conditional action to check if an item was selected(requested for) in the list. Everytime I re-open the workflow I am finding the condition to be set to incomplete. Once I double click and save it, it goes away and I can publish it again. Not sure if this was a known issue/if anyone else is experiencing it. But wanted to put it out there, in case there was a fix for it. Or if I'm goofing this up somehow(am quite capable) then I can stand corrected. Danka!-Swetha

Loading a Nintex O365 Form

Hi everyone, My client has noticed an undesired effect while loading Nintex form in New or Edit mode. Once you select NEW for example you see this screen:This is to be expected but the problem comes next. Once this screen clears part of the form loads for a short period of time: The screen then goes into its "loading" page:And finally the full form is opened and ready: The problem here is the "early loading" form. It appears prematurely and then disappears again. The part of the form that appears before it has been fully loaded is always the last panel of the form. I have not known of or found any other answers/threads on here detailing this problem, it's a difficult one to describe so I hope the pictures explain it for me. Would anyone know how to stop this "pop up" form before it has completely loaded as the client is disappointed with the way it looks when opening. Thank you, Andrew

Nintex for with tabs/panels and validation rules not working correctly

I have created a Nintex form with four tabs across the top with corresponding panelsections.  Each tab/panel is for an approval process with buttons of 'Approved' or 'Denied' at the bottom of eachpanel. The business unit is now asking for mandatory comments to be entered should one of the Approvers select DENIED. Easy enough to add a Validation rule on the Denied control button of:  isNullOrEmpty(ReasonforDenial) Here comes the problem, there are two tabs/panels that this validation rule need to run on.The other rule I have for the Final Denial is:  isNullOrEmpty(ReasonforFinalDenial) The problem comes in where when the form is being filled out by the end user, and the first denialhappens, the user enters in comments and clicks on the DENIED button, however,it doesn't close the form. The form is waiting for the second (final denial)comments to be entered and the Final Denial button to be selected before theform with save and close. I have tried so many different variables at this point

Unauthorized response code from REST POST web service call

Hello, I'm having trouble with a POST REST web service call from workflow in 365. Using information from this post Updating list items using SharePoint 2013 workflow engine | Cambridge Technology Partners Blog and this post My SharePoint Insight: Using SharePoint REST services from workflow with POST method  I was able to successfully create a new document library in the current site using a REST call and Nintex Workflow. However, when I try to create a list in a sub site I get a response code of 'Unauthorized' and the message "Unauthorized - {"error":{"code":"-2147024891, System.UnauthorizedAccessException","message":{"lang":"en-US","value":"Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource."}}}" My sub site inherits permissions from the parent where the workflow is running. Both sites have the feature enabled 'Workflows can use app permissions'. I am using the Call HTTP Web Service action but I have also tried using the Call Web Service action s

Filter dropdown list based on items that have already been selected

Hi, I have two forms, Form A and Form B. Both have forms, and both must be completed. However, Form B has a column that looks up names from a column in Form A. As each form only needs to be completed once for each user, I was wondering, is there any way to filter the lookup field in Form B to only show the names for people who have not already completed it?

Nintex Forms Issue

Hi everyone, Big problem with my form at the moment. Everything has been working fine all day using the form to log jobs. Nothing has changed with the form itself or any of the code that goes into the form. All of a sudden JavaScript wont work on the form, and labels with item properties show {Item Property} instead of displaying a blank field as they normally would. I get the below errors in F12,DEBUG MODE: "<script> NWF$(document).ready(function() { CalculationFunctions.push({ Name: fnc78b19d3356e4c988e8d90bed46c780a, Control: '', Result: 'c78b19d3-356e-4c98-8e8d-90bed46c780a'}); }); </script><script type="text/javascript">" and  I have imported an earlier version of the form (normally works when I've been adding JS and something's gone wrong) but now I keep on getting these problems. JavaScript Auto Select

This is maybe a simple thing to fix but I'm a little up against time. I have two 'Choice Controls' which are being used as 'Tabs'. These choice controls are the same other than one additional option to the second choice control. Only one choice control is visible at any time (created rules on the choice controls). When opening the form for a 'new item' the 'maintab' is by default on 'Job Details' and so is the hidden 'AuthorisationTab'. As such, I have placed a rule on the Job Details panel to only show when both tabs have 'Job Details' selected. This works. The problem occurs when I have used a workflow to import jobs from an 'Import' list. All of the information is entered where it should be but when I open the form the tabs, the panels, everything is all haywire. What I thought would fix the problem is for JavaScript to automatically select 'Job Details' on both 'maintab' and 'authtab' every time the form is opened. These controls already have their default values as 'job details' b

I am getting duplicate content type error "BizTalk" already exist when creating a site from a saved template template. I saved a template from a current site, or even from a new site created. It saved successfully.When i try to create a new site using this template. It gives me error that there is a duplicate content type "Nintex Biz Talk" exist.It does not create the site. All out of the box template works fine.Nintex 2010SharePoint 2010.
