There are many ways to start a workflow in Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC)...such as, submitting an NWC form, on a schedule or even by updating a record in Salesforce. One common way in which NWC workflow starts is based on items being created or updated in SharePoint Online. Many Nintex customers have SharePoint Online in their landscape and many also have used, or still use Nintex Workflow for O365. Nintex strongly recommends that those using Nintex Workflow for O365 consider migrating their workflow to NWC to take advantage of the many additional features that NWC provides, such as, the myriad of prebuilt connectors to third party systems and the My Nintex and Workflow Tracking consolidated views of processes. For those customers that are already running their SharePoint workflows in NWC, or for those considering migrating, Nintex has added additional support for the testing of workflows based on the SharePoint Online start event. Let's reite

Hi, Everyone, I wanted to let you know that changes are coming soon to how you can authenticate for sending and receiving email using a Gmail or Exchange Online account. Google is turning off Basic authentication at the end of this month (May 2022) and Microsoft is doing it on October 1st, 2022. This means that after this time you cannot use a username and password in your email connection in RPA to send, receive, and work with emails from these systems in your botflows. For Google you can setup what's known as an App Password and use that in your RPA connection. Many of you are doing this today. However, the plan is to release an updated version of RPA in the coming weeks that allows you to use OAuth for Gmail. Google is not going to remove support for App Passwords so if you're using that today you won't have to do anything come June 1st, 2022. At some time before October 1st, 2022, we'll release an updated version of RPA to handle OAuth f

Excel as Middleware is one of my favorite functionality with Drawloop, however it's hard to wrap your head around it at first or what kind of use cases are best for using this functionality. As there's millions of ways to use this functionality, here's an example of one that I see often that gets asked which is to separate the value from multi-picklist fields.  Here's a quick recap on how iExcel as Middleware works: You can push Salesforce data from Excel and manipulate the data on how you would like it to look like. Filling a large form can be time consuming and it may not be possible to fill out the form in one sitting. By utilizing the new Save and Continue feature available for authenticated Start forms, participants are now able to save the progress and resume it later without the need to start over.   It is super easy to enable Save for a form. All you have to do to is navigate to the Action panel in the forms designer and enable the Save button as shown in the image below.  When the workflow is published, participants will have the option to fill in part of the form and save and come back to continue from where they stopped at a later time.   To return to the saved draft form, n

Customizing Notification Programmatically for Nintex AssureSign One of the most powerful parts of Nintex AssureSign is the fact that you can manage the entire signing process programmatically through our API. I recently had a requirement come up while implementing an On-Boarding Workflow. The requirement from my client was: "we want to have multiple list item attachments for the new employee process but when the workflow starts I need to have different attachments emailed to different employees". I started to think about this because there is not an action within Office 365 to get list item attachments, although there is a web service we can call to get them.
