Hello    I download the K2 Mobile App in IOS and try to use the app to login in my K2 blackpearl server,    but when I input my account , password and server adress and push the button to login in    I got a error message 'Could not find the server name', Please help us how to soluation the question  thanks!   

We are on 4.7. I have a get list item to fetch approvers from SP list. When get list item cannot find any items matching criteria, following error is thrown. SmartObject property UserIds is a required property for selected method GetK2FQNForSharePointUsers. Value must be set. Any help is appreciated. This was working fine in 4.6.11. If no list item is fetched, it would return null value but no error was thrown. 

Hello All,   I am trying to change some look and feel on K2 Forms to give a corporate look and brand identity. I have been playing around with the css for the theme i made copy from another theme and regeisterd that into the DB . I have been using Google chrome developer tool to inspect element of the div and trying to apply the styles directly, but nothing seems to work or change. I was wondering if there is  a documentation or how to apply custom designs to K2 forms and views?

Hi, I was trying to use the [AD User 2].GetUsersByGroup SmartObject method in a process to check the originator's membership to an Active Directory group, however the process throws the following error: 28083 ServerEvent: Message: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted; ServiceName: ADService2; ServiceGuid: 83ac8763-ab63-4f86-8bc8-9bde8729b735; InnerExceptionMessage: ;      InnerException: An unexpected error has occured while trying to resolve a value for Resolver ID 59F5D9BC-3B14-45ca-9C94-6FCB3C4D862F.        InnerException: Message: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted; ServiceName: ADService2; ServiceGuid: 83ac8763-ab63-4f86-8bc8-9bde8729b735; InnerExceptionMessage: ;  The ServiceObject seems correctly configured and I can make the same call successfully via the SmartObject Services Tester (see below).  If there anything easy I should look at?  Is there a better technique to work out whetehr a user is a member of an Act

Hello K2 Community - We looking to better understand from a best practice which migration path we should take when moving from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016. The following has been discussed internally. Our concern is that we may loose K2 configuration when the incremental migration is performed on the SharePoint 2016 site collection. Create a new site collection in SP2016 Migrate SP2010 site collection content Add/configure K2 Designer for SharePoint app in the SP2016 site collection Configure new K2 workflows and forms in the SP2016 site collection Export K2 solution from the SP2016 site collection Lock SP2010 site collection Run incremental migration of newer SP2010 site collection content to SP2016 site collection Re-add/configure K2 Designer for SharePoint app in the SP2016 site collection Import K2 solution into SP2016 site collectionWhat are your thoughts? Looking to the K2 Doc. is possible to create a Static Service Broker.https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2blackpearl/devref/4.6.6/webframe.html#Creating_Custome_Static_Service_Broker.html What about a Dynamic out of the Box Service Broker... where snipets of code can be added or filename of powershell scripts be called to execute some particular function and return something as result of the process. This way concatenating multiple of this SMO Actions with Dyanmic Rules will be possible not have the need of Visual Studio in order to create SMO's for a specific task. Just some ideas... looking forward to hear from the community.

Hi team, We developed a application which consists of both sql server and k2 connect instances. Now we are planning to move it to production.Client system doesn’t have visual studio in production server. so, we copied the svd files in to production and used k2 connect administrator tool to add server objects.All the destination and server configurations are completed.  After that published my package without any errors. But rfc based smart objects are not working. when I try to execute in smart object tester, it throwing “object reference not set to an instance of the object.”  Please let me know if I missed any step in between to deploy the k2 connect. Thank in advance, Rajmohan.G

Hi Everyone, I have a scenario with a client in which I have to be able to change the "owner" of  a process from a SmartForm picker control. Obviously you have the redirect functionality from the worklist that would assign the worklist item to the new "owner" but they don't want to use this fuctionality as they want to force the person to open the worklist item before you can redirect the worklist item.  I would like to find out if I would be able to do it with an activity action that updates the worklist item instead of completing the worklist item. Does this restart the activity and if I update the datafield that holds the user fqn would it then assign the worklist item to that person ? Kind regards, Helgard Wagener

Team, I am working in K2 designer (K2 for SharePoint Forms & Workflows) Version: 4.4120.8.100, when I referred the study materials “K2_smartforms_Handbook” it is mentioned that K2 has many reusable components, I just want to know how reusable K2 in case of Workflows which is designed through K2 designer. For example: I designed approval Workflow for one of the SharePoint list (HR Operations) same I like to reuse for another SharePoint list (Employee Relations Operations) in different Site collection, so I deployed the workflow which I created for “HR Operations” list into “Employee Relations Operations” list but when I looked into the components of the Workflow it was referring the smartobject of “HR Operations” so I need to manually change the reference for each and every components, which is time consuming activity, so could you please suggest on this. Thanks,Karthik R

Is it feasible, using a custom control, to trigger a label print to a designated printer?  I would like to provide a button to print off a barcode label to a designated printer.  We have SQL reporting services and Jasper iReport servers at our disposal.   Ideally, I would like to pass the barcode number and the printer name, which would automatically print out.  We are just in the middle of prototyping a solution and this is the only missing piece of functionality and would like to understand if this is possible before moving forward with the project. Regards, Nathan

I'm unable to add anything to the project, Workflows or SmartObjects return the same thing. Solutions floating around that do not apply:Not OS related as the project has been continuously developed on the exact same virtual machine everytime, and this, all of sudden, start happening; For the reasons above, nothing has been updated, as this machine does not receive updates before they pass internal quality control; OS updates, application updates, all have to pass internal quality control before appearing on this machine. So, no, no mismatching of K2 versions or anything, this worked yesterday.This is getting kind of too usual, literally every change made to a k2proj (no matter who does it, K2 Studio or K2 Designer for VS), ends up breaking the project itself. Is this only me or whats happening here, this is getting very low productive.

I need to customize the delegation emails for a specific application that we have developed, I am not seeing where in K2 Studio that this can be accomplished,can someone please point me in the right direction?

I have a requirement for an activity which polls a smart object value every 12 hours, and will workflow will not continue until this proporty is a particular value.   Esclations need to take place if it is taking too long. What is considered best practise for something like this in k2?

Team,I am a SharePoint developer with K2 Tool.I am using User Task (SmartForm) for the approval process(Approval / Reject). Moreover, i am using Worklist to show the tasks assigned to the current user.The user can also able to cancel the request (Cancel Request button in SharePoint Item View not in K2 User Task). The Problem is what if Request is already canceled by Requestor itself. Still, it's showing in K2 WorkList. If Request is canceled by Requestor it should not show to Approver Worklist. While Worklist filtering I cannot able to filter the worklist items based on SharePoint column status. Is there any other way to achieve this? Thanks

Maybe I am approaching this wrong but I cannot seem to find anything related to this topic online. Where are your developers developing their K2 solutions? Are you following a traditional DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD approach to ALM? What are your thoughts? Have you defined a process for your developers? Thank you in advance for your time. Brian

I have a workflow with the functionality of updating the status as "Submitted" and after that I'm placing a user task for the approval process. Once the approval process is complete again I'm updating the status to "Approved" or "Rejected" based on the action selected by the user. In this process, when I'm attempting to add an item, the very first step is processed (ie., status to "Submitted") and flows to the user task. The recipient mentioned in the user task is being notified as the next step. User performs the action of either approving or rejecting. After this the workflow stops. Status to Approved/Rejected is not being updated but the Message Successfully submitted which is configured in the user task is displayed. Do I need to configure any details for this update? Please add your suggestions.

I am trying to impersonate a specific user similarly to the way the code example does so here (https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2blackpearl/devref/4.6.6/webframe.html#how_to_use_impersonate_user_using_the_k2_api.html). In the example they use c# code to make a connection and impersonate a specfic user.  Is there a way to do the same thing , impersonate a user, using the Rest Api (eg : http://k2.denallix.com/k2services/REST.svc/Worklist/Items ).
