+7I have a requirement for an activity which polls a smart object value every 12 hours, and will workflow will not continue until this proporty is a particular value. Esclations need to take place if it is taking too long.
What is considered best practise for something like this in k2?

Please see below links on how to set up escalation, looking at your requirements you can set up the escalation to escalate after 12 hours:
