Hi I have a subform with a Content control.I want the subform to close when something happens on the Content control. The only event the subform can react on, is the Changed event, but I can't figure out when this event is triggered.The item displayed in the Content control is another smartform, so the question is, can the smartform make the Content control trigger the Changed event, so that I can close the subform? RegardsOskar

Dears, The requirement is, Number of rows available in the list view should be editable by default. Instead of double click on each row to edit or Click on EDIT button.

hi, I have an IIS web site whith k2 web service ws.asmx (StartNewProcessInstance and others methods) .The website aplication pool Identity is configured has before (acount: k2webservice) The webservice is being called from another site whitch aplication pool identity is also configured as before(acount: spwebservice)Now, my app site calls the K2 webservice the http status 401.2 is returned.what configurations do I need to check? any k2 specific configuration? Regards,Pedro Teixeira   

I am unable to see "K2 Workflow" option in item context menu for sharepoint list item. It was available till the time I re- configure the K2 for SharePoint.See attached screenshot for more detail. Also, One more problem I am facing with K2 for SharePoint. The smartforms created on SharePoint list using the view created on SharePoint list Smartobject are setting the default value for Dropdown field and Check Box field. In the backend (SharePoint list) the fields are not set to have any default value, still in the form on form load some of the Dropdown and Checkbox have deafult value. If anyone faced this issue earlier and any resolution found please let me know. Thanks,Prafull

Hi there.  I think I'm doing everything right (but obviously I'm not) but loading a form in a K2 Designer client event.   When I try to open the worklist item, the URL seems correct...example: /Runtime/Runtime/Form/Request+Form/?_State=Initial+Analysis&RequestID=40&SerialNo=3591_33  (it's passing in the request ID) And I think I have the load rule placed appropriately (this rule is on the form base state)   But, every time I try to load the form from the worklist I get: SmartObject property ID is a required property for selected method Load. Value must be set.  If I remove the state and serial # from the parameters in the URL, the record will load...but when the state and SN are on there, it fails. What am I missing?  Rob 

Worklist item could not be opened. 26030 Worklist item 4803_21 not found for K2:DOMAINAccountName at 10.10.10.10:2276 I wonder if somebody have this issue when a  copy of the User Task Email goes to the originator and then he open the Form prior to the Approver, seems like it lock the workflow. how can this be prevented and perhaps just not lock the workflow until the supervisor approve it. THX DIno

Hi there.   We have a workflow that generates an E-Mail.  Works great. We'd like to generate a PDF of this e-mail for use later when we're able to figure out how to send an image to our imaging system using REST API.   From what I can see from the PDF smart object and/or the e-mail wizard in the K2 Designer (not studio) based workflow, there isn't a way to do this...am I missing something?   Any assistance/advice is appreciated. Rob  

Good morning. I have an question about contact process with K2 support and sellers. I write to them three times and not recieved any ansver from them. I tried to call them, but operator said that number can't be reached. Can someone help me with this situation? P.S I need to contact them for asking K2 Blackpearl trial version for creating BP workflows in sharepoint. Now our company want try Sharepoint as new DMS, but K2 Blackpearl product has a lot of good reviews and we want to test it. And later meaby buy full version.

Hi All The application I'm developing has a requirement for the users to select multiple rows in a list and then perform some action on each row selectedI know it's possible to make multi row selectiona by pressing CTRL+click to select each rowHowever I'd like to try and find a more user friendly way to achieve this...Ideally each row has a checkbox on the left and user selects that... but I dont think thats possibleDoes anyone have any tips or custom code which would allow me to select multiple rows  thanksPaul

I would like a form to populate data based on current user, but pull data from that person's AD entry as well.  I am able to have the form load with current user's Employee ID, but does anyone know a way to have the rest of the form expose information from Active Directory based on the Current User (taken from System Value)? Or is the GetUserDetails method only activated by a parameter input?  I am THINKING the rule should be something like "If Employee ID (from System Value) =MarkL, then GetUserDetails (List from Active Directory) for MarkL and list in View2"...?

Hi everyone, I have two issues with drop downs on a list view. 1. If the text is longer than the allocated length, the text is getting cutoff.  Typically on other websites the text box will float above the content and expand as needed.  This is not the case with smartforms.  How do you resolve this challenge?  See orange highlight in the picture below. 2. Once the user has entered their data and either wants to add/edit more rows or continue populating the form and the list item switches to a "read" type of view, the contents of the drop-down columns get cut off if they are beyond the allocated length of the column.  How can I wrap the text? See yellow highlight in the picture below. Please do not say "change control to a data label" because that is not an option.For those columns in the database I store foreign key IDs. I need them to be drop-downs so I can set the data source as SmartObject and display a different property from that different SmartObject for the display field.  Other

Hi Dear's, I am facing an Issue in my Workflow approval activity,     The Problem is i have one activity which is assign Dynamically ( Mean I am sending UserID dynamically base on department Manager ) that is assigning a task to a perticuller user  but it is also assign a task to another Spacific UserID, That it shouldn't  assign to other user and this user getting a message on click worklist litem ( Worklist item could not be opened. 24411 K2:DOMAINUSERID from IP_ADDRESS:POR is not allowed to open the worklist item with SN=5237_28 ). Please tell me why its assigning a task to another Specific user, how to resolve it. I have Checked Viewflow and also checked the Participants where is only Dynamic User is showing that is assiging by me. Please Suggest. Thank You

Hi All, We've upgrade our Dev instance to the new 4.7 and were excited that'd it would provide an out of office notification for delegation...however the bland email is not helpful at all.  And they've provided no detail as to how/if it can be modified.  We've only found instrucitons on how to turn it off.  Any ideas or workarounds to at least provide some additional detail to allow the delgatee to be better informed. thanks!

Hi Everyone, Anyone had success with running JS after a view has loaded? I have been trying with several approaches all with no luck. I have tried window).load, $(document).ready. I've tried using the Initialised rule and tranfering expressions using data tranfer. Doesn;t matter which approach I use the JS will always fire before the data from view has loaded. I need to fire after becuase I want use a selector on a list view. Thanks in advance

Hi We have a form which has several Item views and several List views added to it. One of the list views allows the user to add file attachments. We also have a few file attachment controls in the Item Views. We are have a problem where sometimes some users can't open/download the attachments. Instead the form navigates to a  blank (white) page. This is not consistent behaviour - 75% of the time it works fine.  Thanks 

Hi all, This isn't a pre-Halloween prank.... Doea anyone know how it is possible that a Workflow Processs is being started by itself? I have noticed several instances of a process being sent at completely random times (including like 2am, 3am). It is a test process i am working on, so the client event emails are only coming to me luckily, but how is it possible for this to happen? Any ideas, or is this a spooky bug? Thanks

Hi Team, I am trying to set escalation for specific date. Like I have date varaible for which I am setting the date after one action and I have my escalation setup on this date variable. but the escalation does not work as expected. I want to expire the task if current date match with date variable. Note: I am setting date variable value as "12/31/2017" by default so that task should not expire before this date. Again in workflow I am setting the date variable value to specific date. The workflow escalation does not work on the date specified in date variable. For Ex. I have set the default value for "Expiry Date" variable as 12/31/2017 and using this date variable in workflow for esclation with "Escalate On" as  "Expiry Date" value. I am setting the "Expiry Date" variable value as "10/5/2017" after one action in workflow. So can escalation rule fire on "10/5/2017" ? as the "Expiry Date" variable value is "10/5/2017" now. I have tested this scenario, but didnt worked. Is this the bug o

Hi, I would like to use a external javascript library (notify.js). How would i implement it into the javascript files that are already on the K2 Server. I see there is a folder with javascript files - C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlK2 smartforms RuntimeScript is that correct? - and i put the new javascript there. How do I reference it now and tell the K2 server that it's there. Regards,Marcel
