Dear All, Anyone have any suggestion how to make the form like the above picture (landing page) ?I want design the form like when I click parent menu 1 --> child menu1, child menu2, child menu3 --> then click child menu 1, view is appear without navigate to other form.     

Hi,Im using K2 deseigner to create an Access request app, and I need to display all comments from diffrent approvers , for that Im using workflow comment smartobject, but Im getting dupliacted comments on every state. Any idea how to solve this issue ? Thank you in advance   

Does the K2 product have an out of the box type solution for calendar scheduling? I have a business need to build a very simple application that allows people to select appointment slot times that are available. I was hoping not to have to do a lot of development to do this. Hi All,I have an editable list view and there is a text area control in that. Whenever I enter $0 in it, the control will convert it into {1} . Upon searching I found that it is a known issue and there is a solution using jQuery. Hi. I am having an issue with rich text control in K2. My version is 4.6.11  I am pulling the content from sharepoint to the rich text control and then sending it as an email. In sharepoint my content starts with <div> but when I pull this into the control, below tag is getting added  <div class="ExternalClass343AD6022D26461EB7242F6DAD9E3974"> Problem is, if the above tag is present in the data then I am losing some <br /> and entire formatting will go off. The same behaviour is happening when I insert an image on to the body of rich text control as well. Any idea why this is happening? Regards,Madhu

Hi all, We are currently running multiple sites on one SharePoint 2013 farm, utilizing K2 4.6.11 including the K2 for SharePoint App.Recently, we planned to upgrade to 4.7 in place so we have taken one of our sites and created a new K2 4.7 server.I'm now at the point of installing the K2 for SharePoint app.The questions to the community are: will installing the 4.7 app break the existing 4.6.11 app? Can I install the apps for 4.6.11 and 4.7 side by side?Thanks for any help you can provide.- Cary.

I would like to standardise the names of attachments loaded for a transaction. The attachments are loaded using the File Attachment control and are saved in a SQL Table. Is it possible to apply a new name to the attached file before saving the file to the SQL table via the SMO.

Hi, Anyone suggest the best way to design this in K2 Studio. The form passes a decision to the Workflow (either true or false) via a Data field called "decision"on the Workflow. There are various paths on the workflow already, but I am using another Datafield called "Reason" to entire that when the workflow is called, it goes down that path. After it has gone down that path, I want to have two email events, one which sends email if true and the other a different email if false. My question is, do i need 1 holding default activity (which is empty), then two line rules to the two seperate mail events based on true or false decision? At the moment: 1 line rules called Reason, which goes to an empty default activity (but wont deploy as its empty)Then two line rules based on decision from the default activty going to the two mail events. Any way to make the above slicker? Will the empty default activity let the workflow continue or must there be something in it?

Hi, Can't seem to get this to work, should be simple to do. On a List view, got two columns: name and date. By default everything is listed, but i want users to be able to select (not create one themselves) from the Quick menu Selected Filter which removes records with contain a date. I created the filter in Design View, but it actually applies the filter when the form runs.I just want the Filter i created to appear in the Selected Filter menu for the user to select. Why isn't it working? P.S. I want to keep this clean, without using text boxes, check boxes etc to set the filter....

Hi Mates,I would like to understand How K2 has been Authenticate the user while taking action, Eg. I had Assign worklist to user X .  Url of Worklist has been my mistakenly pass to user Y.  Now user Y is taking action he is getting error as he is not auhtorize person to take action on workflist.How and which mechanisam has been implemeneted here to chek user Authentication and Authtorization.Will Take look User Token that has been pass or User ID? Thanks in Advance..

Good Morning, I have an issue bothering me lately. I have an already deployed workflow, which deployed fine initially and when i decided to work on it again to deploy after making new changes, it gives me error 500 (Internal server Error) This Workflow deployed fine yesterday, how come it does not deploy again this time? 

Hi, We need to create a custom theme to apply corporate branding to our forms.  We have followed K2's instructions on how to do this and have successfully created a test custom theme based on the recommended grey void theme.  However this is a long way from what we need our forms to look like so this one isn't ideal to use as a base starting theme. We would like to base our custom css on the standard 'Platinum' theme, because it is mostly just the background gradient colour we would like to change along with a few basics such as hover colours in line with our branding. However, we can not find a .less file in the root of the themes folder, which K2 says is needed to create a custom theme, can we achieve this any other way with the Platinum theme? Thanks, Julie 

Doing a "Action a Worklist item" - configure In the Save form fields (to workflow data) i am sending a form value to one of the Save form fields on the workflow.Then i use that form fields to add as a parameter in an email event. The value is either not sent or is blank in the email, any idea why? In workspace, view flow, the value is blank.... (the value is 100% set on a datalabel so i know it does exist on the form before i run the Action Worklist item. Any ideas?

Hi All, I have a requirement where I need to save an image to sharepoint and insert this url into rich text control. Exact requirement is to insert this url exactly at the cursor position. I am finding it difficulty to insert at the exact cursor position. Any idea how to do that?  Regards,Madhu

Hello,We are currently using K2 4.7. In a list view, When 'Quick Search' dropdown is clicked, it doesn't show any of the "Calendar/Date columns" as a dropdown choice. Was Date column option deprecated from quick search criteria in 4.7? I know for sure that in 4.6.11 it wasn't the case. Thanks in advance. v/r,Kaushik

Just curios how many of you act as dedicated K2 developers? If not, what other systems you support or work on? As to myself, I am probably assigned to K2 projects for 30% of my time. I primarily support various HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, Taleo.

Can you impersonate users on forms if integrated with office 365? It's a bit vague, but just been asked to see if there is any info on this? Thanks

Hi All, I have a requirement by which a field should be displayed as below 2 should be saved as 2 itself but 1.2 should be saved as 1.2000000. I have defined the field as decimal and modified the field to acvcept 7 decimal places but 1.2 is getting saved as 1.2 not as 1.2000000.  Is there anyway to achieve this? Regards,Madhu

Hi, Got a text box where the requirement is for a user to enter a Whole number. That number can be 6 digits or less, is this possible using a Validation pattern? I'm using the following pattern to check that only Whole Numbers are entered, but there is no limit to the number of digits. Any ideas how to limit to 6 or less? ^[0-9]+$ Thanks
