Hi,We are running an unattended Nintex/Kryon RPA robot on a Windows VM.The robot successfully logs in and start te task, but when running without an active RDP connection, UI steps fail and screenshots are completely black.When an RDP session is connected, the same steps work correctly, which suggests the desktop is not being rendered when no display/session is present.What could be causing the desktop not to render in unattended mode?

After a restart on the server in which the system is installed, the robot with which the processes are run is in down status, and manual entry is needed to idle it.Until it takes on missed processes.Is there an option that the robot will be connect automatically and will not wait for someone to do it?

Hi! Suddenly I get the error below.It worked for a while.The credentials are correct, I can send emails, and it works as "get email trigger" in the console.Something seems to be wrong with IMAP. What could be the reason for the sudden change?Thanks.  

We were hoping to make a Global Function that could take a variable with delimited headers and do the following: For each header, create a new variable that is named using this syntax: Header + “-ColNum” Value for the variable would be equal to the column’s number, relative to the other other headers in the delimited variable.  As an example, a delimited variable like this: “Account Number, Balance, Address”Would result in the following variables:Account Number-ColNum 1 Balance-ColNum 2 Address-ColNum 3 In future steps of the wizard, this would allow us to use the new variables in place of hardcoding the column values. This would also make it so that if the order of items changed in the delimited data, the Wizard would still work correctly since the global function would be determining where that particular column is in the data at runtim

HiI need to count the number of attachments in an incoming email and get the number as a variable.I tried save them in a folder but could’nt find a way to count that too…Any ideas?

One of my customers is using a native application that runs on IE6. Since IE has been deprecated, my customer runs it with MS Edge Chromium under IE6 compatibility mode and can run it well as expected. Next, they want to use an RPA solution and one of the requirements is to interact with the application that runs under IE6 compatibility mode (the interaction is to do the web scraping).So, I tested it using Nintex RPA and found that the web scraping failed to detect the web page (no dotted rectangle appeared). I tested it with another page that is not related to IE6 compatibility mode and it works well (dotted rectangle appeared as described below).  Does anyone have an experience like this? Or could it be a limitation of features from Nintex RPA which could not support IE6 with compatibility mode? Need any input on this.

I’m trying to figure out what services are required to be running on the server and workstation for the unattended robot to function. Does anyone know? RPA Version 24.4.2.5 but would take details from any version at this point.

Guys,Does anyone in this community have an experience related to the plugin.net, whereas every time we reopen the wizard, the .net plugin fails to run? The error message shown was “Error”. How can we avoid the issue?Thanks before.

My question has two parts. I’ve been working on an issue with the Send Email function since March of 2024. Tech support has me in an endless loop of try this and send the logs. It works if I run the Wizard through the Studio but only when using a copy of the Studio folder on the local Desktop not the regular installation location of the Studio. But it does not work if I run the same Wizard with the Robot using a trigger. (The Wizard runs but the emails are not received.) Any ideas what could be causing this? I faced an issue: “Access is denied. Check credentials and try again” when trying to get an email message from M365 using “Get email message DAC”.This issue happened with the latest version of Nintex RPA 23.11.1. Hi,I have two Nintex RPA development environments with the same versions, which are 24.4.2.5. I have created some RPA use cases in the first environment and want it to be replicated in the second environment. Then I exported and imported to the second environment using dwiz files. When I tried to import one use case, an error occurred with the following message, “Unsupported amount (2) of imported libraries!”.I have checked for those two environments and all have the same configurations including with its applications defined in the Nintex Admin.Has anyone had an experience like this?In the meantime, whenever I want to replicate the flow, I must use the import through the local wizard (save as a lwiz file).Thanks before for any input.  

I am trying to find a way for several bots to work from the same shared Excel file.  Assume there is a large list of data (Account Numbers) in one column and another column beside it called “RPA Status”.  When one bot starts to work an account, it looks at the Excel file to find the first Account Number with an empty RPA Status field.  It then copies this Account Number and writes “In Process” to the RPA Status field so that another bot will not pick up this Account Number.  It writes back “Complete” once it has completed whatever process it is doing.  Ideally, I’d like to have multiple machines pulling in and writing back to this Excel file. The issue is that if I try running another bot pulling from the same file, the Excel is in “Read Only” status until the other workflow is completely finished.  Is there a way to write to an Excel file and immediately close out the connection so that another bot can write to it?  I know SQL is an option, but that raises several oth

Hi,Did anyone know where I can see all the activity about attended robots, e.g., robots and wizard status (successful running or not) and so on? In the Nintex Assistant, we could only see for the robot task queuesPlease CMIIW, Nintex Console Plus is a web-based orchestration and analysis tool for managing and controlling unattended robots, tasks and triggers. Meaning we could not see the dashboard for the attended robot.

I have a simple wizard where I need to copy four columns from excel and paste the values in fields of a web base application.My commands include:**Get worksheet (Excel worksheet actions DAC); Copy from Excel (range of cells into a variable); Get Array Data (using column delimiter, I am separating each column value into a variable, to later ‘input text’ in the application)My problem is when the command for Get Array Data pulls in the last column it also brings in the row delimiter and the value of the first column.    The command reads like this:  From the array stored in (my variable created from the Copy from Excel) Where items are delimited by $column delimiter$ Get the value of item #4 (since it is column 4).  My row delimiter is ***.  The value that is pulled in for the last column and stored in the variable reads something like this:  123456***123456789.  It pulls in the data in the last column AND the data in the first column of the next row.Any hel

I am pulling in several fields from excel and splitting the columns out to fields on a webpage.  There is one of those split values that need to be pasted more than once - as in generating a password.  What options do I have to get that value in two boxes.  It will paste in the first cell, tab to the next cell but nothing happens.  Eventually the wizard will move past that point.

I am working on a wizard that copies data from excel to a website, resulting in the return of a new account number that I need to paste back to the same excel document.  Is that possible?  When completed, I would have all the original excel data used to create the account and the column following that data would be the new account number.

I suspect we’re suffering from the issue described in this post by @MParris. The fix for this issue is found in version v23.11.2.1, but I’m only able to find the release notes for v23.11.2.5, which don’t seem to mention anything related to the described issue. (https://public.kryon.io/RPA-Versions/23.11/23.11_Latest/23.11.2/23.11.2%20Release%20Notes.txt) Can anyone point me in the right direction to find release notes for previous versions of the program, like v23.11.2.1?  I’m hoping it’s not that we have to make a support case.  Thank you!

Using RPA, I am trying to capture a 16 digit number from a program and paste it to excel.  Either it will not copy it at all or it will copy it and change the last digit to 0.   I have tried using the commands ‘get html object text’ and ‘get html object value’.  Am I using the wrong command?

I would like to move a wizard from the development Studio to the Production Console.  How does that work?  I have not been able to find any notes on a Production Studio.  Would I have to export from the Dev Studio, then import to Prod Studio to be able to add the automated wizard to the Production Console?  

Nintex RPA - How do I extract data from excel and enter that data in a website?  The spreadsheet has one column.  I need to move from row to row until all the numbers have been used. Once the number is in the data field on the website, I then need to run a process and go back to excel and get the number out of the next row.  have been trying to use ‘get worksheet’ and ‘copy from excel’, but I don’t think I am on the right track.

I have a wizard that uses the chrome browser.  When I have finished all the tasks within, the wizard signs out of the application and needs to close the browser window.  How can I do that, please?  It could be in the documentation but I don’t know what to look for.  The windows ALT + F4 is what I am using now but I don’t know how to hold the ALT while the F4 is entered.  I am sure it is something simple but I am still new at this :)
