Open Excel Workbook that is Password Protected with Read OnlyKnowledge Base

TopicHow to open an Excel Workbook that is password-protected and read-only. When saving an Excel workbook, if Saved As is used, then the user clicks the Tools menu near the Save button and selects General Options..., and read-only protection is checked.When using the Open Workbook action, it doesn’t seem to be working as intended. Because of the read-only protection, Excel prompts for a password twice, asking for the password for the protected file and also for the Read-Only protection. RPA LE is working as expected but only unlocking the first prompt.InstructionsWe are investigating whether this is a feature they need to add. Still, since we do not hear of a workbook being protected both ways, they may be able to add an option to send the password for Read Only as well, but until then, the workaround to bypass this second password prompt is:Deactivate the Open Workbook action and use the Open File action. 3 year review check workflow

Hi!I have a sharepoint list (on prem) and need to create a workflow if a list item shows a modified date less than 2019… If an item is detected and the modified date is less than 2019, I need to notify someone by email to review. Once reviewed the modified date updates, I will  then apply 3 years to that modified date for the next notification to go out to review once again and will need this workflow to loop so user is notified every 3 years.The list has versioning turned on, I applied a workflow to test but it seems that its sending a notification for every version that “is less than 2019”. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

List Lookup Translation inside of a repeating section

Hi, So  I am Working on a repeating section which has a list lookup control, and this list lookup needs to translate between 2 languages , if the user chooses language 1 the List lookup needs to be in language 1, and if the user chooses language 2 then the List lookup needs to be in language 2.what i have now is 2 lookups one for language 1 and one for language 2, but the problem is that both of the lookups and not linked, so if a user completes the form in language 1 and then someone else wanted to view the form in language 2, then language 2 will show up and will be empty, is there a way to only include 1 list lookup in the repeater section and this list look up will translate base on the language selected ? if now what else can be done? TIA

(K2 5.6) Workflows not continuing - timer service and delays

Has anyone else experienced issues on 5.6 where the timer step just does not pass?In my case, even if the timer should halt for just 3-5 seconds, it never resumes.Restarting the K2 Service (1-2 times) normally resolves this, but it is becoming an annoying hassle.

Require comment on task not working

I have a flexitask to which I have added a More Information outcome in addition to the standard Approve and Reject outcomes.  I have set the Reject and More information outcomes to require comment, however I am able to complete the task without adding a comment. I am using a custom task form, as well, so I decided to put a validation on the Comment to force the requirement with a form rule.  But this also is allowing the task to be completed without entering a comment.  Any suggestions?  Screenshots attached.

Error: _Object__r is not a valid object when creating SOQL QueryKnowledge Base

TopicWhen trying to add fields to a SOQL Query that contain the word From, Lightning Experience DocGen Designer (LEDD) is unable to differentiate between the From in the field to the FROM in the SOQL Query. This will cause a red error banner to display stating:"_object__r" is not a valid object For example:Select id, name, the_from_account__r.name FROM Opportunity WHERE id = 'record id' Instructions This is a LEDD issue that the Nintex DocGen Development Team is currently investigating. The workaround is to create/update the SOQL Query via the Classic experience.

We are finding some challenges in management of groups in Nintex Automation Cloud. Adding a removing users from a group requires manual steps through the administrative interface. Has anyone found a method that allows some degree of automation, maybe to connect into Active Directory groups?

Nintex On-Prem - Responsive Form - Attachment validation

I’m currently working on an Nintex On-Prem Responsive form and I would like an attachment control to require validation of at least one attachment when there is a date populated in a date field and the answer to a choice question is “Yes”.My issue is this attachment control is on a hidden panel that doesn’t appear until later down the form. If you use the validation rules on the control itself, it won’t allow for the initial submission of the form. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.-Pat

Rename the uploaded file from the starting form to one of the variables and save it to SharePoint

Hi all, can you please help me sort out my issue, I have been looking everywhere and I can't find a solution.At the start event form, I set the file upload, this file will always have a different name (depending on the user) I wonder if there is a way to rename it to one of the variables and save it on the SharePoint folder.

TopicWhile logging into Nintex Robot, if the following message appears on the login screen:Cannot access Nintex Servers - There might be a problem with your network connection or firewall settings.  InstructionsCheck to see if there were any changes to the environment, such as Microsoft updates. Check to see if there were any changes made to permissions. If these steps do not help: Gather the Robot logs: see the Additional Information section below for instructions on obtaining the logs. Nintex Automation Cloud - Applying Page Break for Printing Form Using Custom CSS

I have a ~20 page document that has variable content that I’m pulling from SQL server to populate data points throughout the document. I would like to use NAC to allow the user to select a location and then have it auto-populate all the dynamic content (this is all doable). The problem I’m running into is trying to set the document for printing. By default, even if you add pages to an NAC form, it just puts page breaks wherever they are needed rather than allowing me to define where I want those page breaks. I tried creating custom CSS using “page-break-after: always;” but calling the style does not accomplish the goal. I also tried putting the style directly into the HTML but it strips it out whenever I click off the HTML form and it goes back to the WYSIWIG so it does not stay.  I checked out the CSS Guidelines and I don’t see a way to do what I’m trying to do. Also, all the other posts out there don’t apply to NAC so I won’t bother posting them here as resources.  Thanks in advance

Retrieve Groups results in 403

In a NWC Workflow, I am using the "Get members of a SharePoint group" action.My selected Connection is a "SharePoint Online: List and libraries connection" and I am a site collection administrator and member of the owner group of the chosen site. The connection has been established with the same user.If I click on "Retrieve groups", I get an 403  What could cause such an permission issue?
