Hello, there. I was wondering if any of you know the answer of the following question. I was using "Assign a task" action, and I chose form based, I've already designed the form, and I want to send the form URL to people to collect their information, but this may take a long time. So I was wondering if there's a expiration date for this Form URL? If yes, then I could make a note in my email to notify people. Thank you!

Hello,   I am trying to setup a DateTime field where the initiator would enter the Date but not the time. In the form options, I can hide the time but the time is still technically included but set to at 12AM. Is there any way to remove the time so I only have the date? My workflow is a bit more complicated where the DateTime value from the initial form is copied to a new form later in the workflow that someone else fills out and they will see the time included.    Also, when at the document generation stage, is there any way to omit the time for the document tags? I look at the drop down list and there are no choices where I can have only just the date.   My other issue is trying to restrict future dates in the forms. There is an option to restrict past dates but no option to restrict future dates. There might be a way to do it via form rules but it seems to be a glitchy workaround but I may need to experiment more. Wondering if there might be any future updates to add an option to re

Hello,   I was wondering if there is anyway to capture the data submitted in subsequent forms (such as the approval stage)? Also, is there any way to auto restart a failed workflow with the same captured initial data (initial form) or would you need to manually start the workflow and resubmit the information through the start form?   Thanks.

I have created a public form on Nintex Workflow Cloud.  We need to brand the form with our Company logo on each page (form has 5 individual pages for the client to tab through).  However, since it is a public form, I don't know where to store the image.  Is there any way to embed it in the form?  I saw a post from a few years ago that suggested storing the image on a public website and using that URL.  We don't really have anything that is public that can store images.  The form is using our SharePoint online connection to a list.  Does anyone have any other ideas?  Thanks!

Using NWC, my initial Form captures signatures.  Later in the workflow, a manager needs to approve the Form and wants to see the signatures.  My approach was to save the image file to share point docs folder as a .png, then use the Image action in the subsequent Form to pick up the .png image using the url path.  I was using the Sharepoint Online - Store a file, but can't figure out how to set the file name to something like "signature.png" so I can point to that file.  They system saves the file with Variable name with a bunch of number and letters.  I can't point to a file with a changing file name.  How do I set the filename? or is there another way to do this? This is the file name that is created:sig_se_trainer_signature_copy_A8fHskNMkS-1603898129619.png

Task Process action is not available on Nintex Workflow Cloud as like in Nintex Workflow for Office 365. Assign a Task action of Nintex Workflow Cloud could have only one user as below Is there is any other way on Nintex Workflow Cloud to start Task Process which involves multiple participants so that if any one of them Approve/Reject then the process should end. Hi, we use Sharepoint / Nintex 2010 Workflow. We plan a migration to the Cloud. Actually we stay in front of the decission between Nintex for Office 365 and Nintex Workflow Cloud.   The question is now, around the migration path. Is there a option (with Sharegate) to migrated to workflows to Nintex Workflow Cloud? What are the limitations?   Thx Best regards

Hi,  I'm interested in using the new getQueryStringParameter() formula in NWC form variables.Not sure how this would work though as the form URL is generated by Nintex. Has anyone used this formula to populate form fields in NWC yet? Would love to hear on your approach. Cheers

As you are working in NWC, you may find that there are occasions when you need to import a workflow with the same name as an existing workflow in your tenant. This may be due to a DevOps process where you are promoting workflows from a dev tenant to a production tenant, for example. As of today (10/15/2020), if you try to import a workflow key and provide the same workflow name as an existing workflow, you'll get the following message " A workflow with this name already exists." and you will be prevented from importing the workflow.  The workaround for this issue is to do the following:Click the import button Paste the workflow key Enter a temporary name for the workflow and click import Once the temporary workflow has been imported, open it in the designer Use the 'Save as' option to save the workflow On the save screen, in the workflow name field, replace the temporary name with the name of the existing workflow you are replacing. If I have 10 forms in SPO that each separately run a O365 workflow that at the end, calls the same NWC workflow - is there any downside to that? Is there a concurrent instance limit to NWC workflows (only 5 at a time or something)?

I was creating a form yesterday using attachments and it failed on the file upload.I realised there was a problem with the  Default File Storage connector which I resolved and it all works ok.Our tenant has been around for a while and on our customer tenants they do not have the option to configure and are using the new internal blob method. So I was wondering how do I turn off the Default File Storage in our tenant and switch to the new internal method? https://help.nintex.com/en-US/nwc/Content/Settings/DefaultFileStorageFAQ.htm indicates soon but this has FAQ been around for a while (Jan 2019).

Hello,   I am wondering if there is any way to copy small parts of a workflow from one workflow to another workflow? I know there is the ability to call workflows but those are meant for bigger workflows. Not sure if it might be possible to be able to copy it to the clipboard and then paste it in another independent workflow in the future but thought it might be at least worth asking. Would help speed up in developing workflows that may reuse similar parts albeit small parts but with lots of configuration. Thanks.

A list on SharePoint 365 has multiple content types. Nintex Online supports nicely the creation of multiple forms. But in Nintex Workflow Cloud a Create List Item action keeps the Add Fields button greyed out on this list? Are the multiple content types the reason for this?

Hi all - I have a NWC form that will be used for an inspection on a mobile phone.  The inspector completes the fields and takes multiple photos using the File Upload field and submits. The form/workflow saves the File Upload contents as a Collection ("Photos"), and I can use Get Item from Collection to save 1 photo as an attachment on my SharePoint List using SharePoint: Add Attachment to an Item.  Just having trouble getting a Loop for Each to work to get ALL of the photos out the original Collection and onto the SharePoint list item. Any suggestions would be appreciated! ThanksIan

NWC form.. I'm trying to set a default value for a Data lookup control based on a selection chosen on the selection made on another data lookup value. The regular choice field has the option to set "Default Value" but not Data lookups.. is there a way I can achieve that in NWC form?

I have a workflow where i need to convert epoch time to standard UTC time.I have created a workflow (maybe too long but it works) where i get today's time, do a date difference calculation in minutes, multiply that too get my milliseconds.   It all works  when i convert from a date to epoch time in milliseconds but when i convert the other way around i get the date and time format as follows:2020-09-22T02:03:00Z Does anyone know of a way to convert the date without having the "T" and "Z" letters present, which i understand are for the time format. Cheers Marc

I have below simple workflow with Create an Item action I need to configure the Create an Item output so that I could get the ID of the new item created, so I have created an Object variable as below When I configure the variable objNewListItem as below the action shows the error ‘Some fields contain variables that can only be used inside associated Loop for each containers. We recommend removing the variables from this configuration.’ Could someone help me the detail of what’s wrong with my configuration or how to configure the Create an item rightly, so I could get the id of the item created please. Hello, I am just creating my first form using the Nintex Workflow Cloud. This is a simple form which creates an item on a Sharepoint list every time it is submitted. I don't want to have duplicates, so one of the columns on my Sharepoint list only accepts a unique value. I need to find a way to know when the "create an item" fails (because it is a duplicate) , so i can send the user to an error page.How can i accomplish that? Thank you.

I'm working on an approval workflow that allows the end user to choose who to send the approval to.  We are using an email control currently and am running into an issue where people are miss-spelling the email address which terminates the workflow.  I do not want to maintain a separate email list in SharePoint as that would be another list to maintain.  Instead I would like to call Azure for emails addresses, however, it limits you to 999 rows to return.  As we have over 1100 employees, how can I ensure I return everyone's email address I need.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kyle Barton

I am looking to query a SharePoint List and get all items that were created today. Once it gets into the evening, the UTC for "Current Date and Time" gets into the next day. (i.e. when I run it at 09-09-2020 9:50pm EST, Current Date time returns 2020-09-10T01:50:46Z). I know I can convert that to a string and convert to my timezone, but then how do I convert that back to a DateTime object? The query requires a DateTime since the SP field is a DateTime
