Nintex Workflow

Hello,I am designing a form in the Start Event of NAC (Start from Nintex Form).  When I try to “Import” a New Responsive form that was exported from Nintex O365, I get error “This form is incompatible with this version”.  Is there any way to copy/import these forms into NAC?  Our forms are very complicated with dozens of rules, variables, etc. Thank you!

I am using Xtensions to call an internal web API that returns data in JSON format, and I now want to parse through that JSON to get the value I want.  The workflow action that calls the API will store the result in a collection variable.  I have to use a “Get item from collection” action to make it readable by the “Query JSON” action.  I do this all time for the easy stuff.  Now I have an issue because now the value I want is within an array of values in the JSON.  If I did a Query JSON action, I would have to use something like [0] or [1] in the JSON expression to obtain the first entry, or the second entry, etc.  I want to loop through all the entries.My idea is that I can “Query JSON” to obtain the portion of JSON that contains that array, then I can do a loop action or For Each action.  However, when I use “Count items in collection” it only returns a count of 1.  This is incorrect. I am migrating from Nintex for O365 to NAC. I have a process with a ton of choice columns that users must select or update in task forms. I was hoping to use lookup columns on SharePoint and data source lookups in NAC. Here are my issues:Lookup column from the start event shows item ID not a label. Is there a way to fix it?  When using a NAC multichoice linked to a data source variable I don't see an option to bring a default selection from SP lookup - is that the case? Is there a way to update a SP lookup field using selections from the NAC multichoice linked to a data source variable? OR should I just stick to choice fields and maintain them in 2 locations: SP and NAC. Will that work for showing exiting selections from SP and updating back to SP? Haven't tested it yet.

Good morning,I’m a newcomer in NWC and Azure. Recently I found an example in Nintex Xtension gallery: https://gallery.nintex.com/t/sharepoint-online-additional-web-actionsI followed the steps in article to create this Xtension and asked my Azure admin to grant permission of SharePoint Online API Permission in Azure. However, the error said when I clicked add a connection in NWC that “The authorization server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.”I’ve managed to change my security objects or even the authentication of redirect URI. In Configure platforms if I chose from Web to SPA(single-page application), the error said “the Proof Key for Code Exchange is required for cross-origin authorization code redemption.”Did anyone have any idea? Thank you!

Hello,  I am currenty creating a workflow which is several forms assigned to several people to gather informations and create a Sharepoint Item which includes all of this info.User A fills the first form, B the second one, C the third one and D the last one. It’s a sequential workflow and C & D can fill their forms at the same time, but not before B and B not before A.B can see what A filled, C what B and A filled and D can see what all the others have filled. When A has finished putting info in his form, all those infos go into a sharepoint item, which keeps getting more detailed as more users fill their respective forms. What i’m asked to do now is, between each form being filled, check on the sharepoint, and if an info is changed on the SharePoint, reflect this change in the next form. Hi,We are creating a PDF using Document Generator in NAC. The problem is when we add a Rich Text field from the SharePoint item all the HTML is printed as well. I know we will need to use a regex to remove the HTML. Does anyone have any idea on what the pattern should be or if there is a different approach I should follow? Thanks Chris

Currently it's very hard to keep component workflow tokens expiration dates on track. Expired tokens will certainly cause downtime with Nintex integration.Since there's no current API for:- 1) retrieving when the workflow tokens will expire- 2) regenerate the token for a specific workflowIt's impossible to automatize the process of refreshing the tokens.Given that, a simpler solution would be a configuration where we can define that a token should *never expire*Please, everybody: Vote for this: Add option so workflow component tokens will not expire | Nintex IdeasThanks Bruno for bringing this up.

Hi all, Hoping someone can help me. I am trying to design an email using some HTML code. I am using a WYSIWYG HTML editor to create an email (since I dont have the 100% HTML knowledge). In the WYSIWYG editor, my email looks like the below (information blurred for privacy). So I copy the code into Nintex, and it looks the same. However, when the email gets sent, some of the background colours disappear. I am so confused. (again information blurred for privacy) Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this? Thanks!

I built an Xtension file in JSON / Swagger that works for connecting through our internal web API to allow a workflow action to call the API.  But it does not work in the Nintex Form.  It should allow the Data Lookup control to call the Xtension and retrieve results that display in a drop-down list but all I get is “No data provided.”Has anyone successfully done this and can show me their Swagger file?  I think there is something wrong with my “results” node in the file.  

I have two Signature Form Controls in a New Responsive Designer form. My NAC Workflow (attached to the relevant SharePoint-Online List) is using “Generate document” action to create a pdf from a Word-Template, showing each signature in a table cell.Everything is working fine but the images (signatures) are rendered outside the borders of the cells.How can I avoid such behaviour?

Hello,I am using a NAC Form and need to apply an tracking number to the form every time one if filled out. Is it possible to produce the output just as displayed below? Hi all - new-ish to Nintex still, gradually getting used to how things work, but I have a couple of questions for a workflow that we’re looking to design…..We want to create a portal where an external party (supplier) registers their details with us. These details are then used to populate back-end systems and initiate a series of workflows (finance checks, procurement checks, etc.) that will eventually automate the process of setting them up as a valid supplier….So, initial thought is to create a simple form for them to enter their contact details, and the internal stakeholder contact.This goes to Stakeholder to approve, and then to internal IT to create an “account” to allow access to the next part of the process, where the Supplier will enter more details, including bank account details. We’re thinking that we could do the account via SQL Server, and hold an encrypted password, but then how would the workflow know that the Supplier is an authent

I have a SharePoint list with many Choice - Checkbox columns, and these list column fields are included in the SharePoint submission form.I would like to be able to return the choices made on the submission form in the task forms - also as checkboxes - and I was hoping the new Multi-choice control DSV support feature would allow me to do this. However, I’ve followed the instructions in this video and the choice fields return blank. Is it possible to return populated submission form choice fields in task forms as checkboxes using this new feature, or does it only work for the format shown in the video (creating Choice - Multiple checkbox options from list items) - or is there another way to do this?

Since there is no integration of Nintex Cloud Workflow with Azure Bolb Storage, I am having hear time to able to crack how I can do this using Nintex Workflow. There is this question from an year ago, which suggest Azure Bolb Storage actions in gallery but right now there isnt any such thing available.https://gallery.nintex.com/t/upload-file-to-azure-blob Please guide.

So I used document generate action and kept original format type which is .docx.  I’m a little confused as I am only using this to store a file, no changes are actually being made. My word document has 4 bullets of resources for the end-user all hyperlinked to the resource.   However, the final output document removed or stripped away the hyperlinks. Why is that?

Hi guys,I’ve recently got our NWC tenant connected to ServiceNow. The idea is that I can create requests, pre-populate the data and assign them to the correct assignment groups etc.I am having issues in how to send the data, in the ‘Create a record’ step, I can’t click onto ‘Add fields’, I can only choose an object variable.I’m not sure the best way to create the object, as far as I am aware I can only retrieve them, not create them.I’ve tried creating a sharepoint list with the columns I need, querying that list so that I get an object and using that in the Create a Record, but I only get a blank Request created, with none of the information.Has anyone experienced anything simil

Hi guys, I am using a ‘Get members of an Azure Active Directory group’. I want to then upload these people into a SharePoint column.It’s a multi person people picker field, but I am getting the error “The user does not exist or is not unique” when updating the list.I’ve deleted the column and remade it, is it just not something that’s supported?Thanks!

Ok, I have tried doing this on my own and hit a wall even with the help of this post:Find Document URL | Community (nintex.com) What am I doing wrong? I just need to fetch the document URL at any given interval in the workflow, in the event the document has been renamed. I check if the document is lockedbyuser and then pause workflow for x amount of minutes and loop back.  I have copy/pasted the txtCASWS variable into browser and my information for the item shows just fine, file ref is there, but I just can’t get this action to work. :( Step 1 Step 2

Has anyone had success in writing a Nintex Xtension (in NAC / Nintex Automation Cloud) that goes through your Nintex Gateway to access your internal Web API endpoints? We are trying to set this up and getting some errors, probably something with our Swagger / JSON configuration file that is not right.  All we get is this generic error, Received an error response from the connector: Invalid Xtension URL: . [Error Code: IO.XtensionExecute.ErrorResponse] Maybe we could compare our Swagger files to see what is different.

Is there a limit to how many people you can list in the people picker control? I could not find any documentation on this. People (nintex.com)

Hello, Bonjour, Kia ora, Guten Tag, Ni Hao! I love hearing people speak different languages to me and I like being able to speak a different language to my mother tongue.  We have recently released multi-language support for Nintex Forms that allow forms developers to very quickly create multi-lingual forms.  Here’s how to do it and also some tips and tricks. First things first, please ask your Nintex Automation Cloud administrator to enable language translation and the languages you want to support.  NB this is the list of all languages you wish to support - you can then pick specific languages on a form by form basis.  The administrator would need to go to the Settings\Form settings\Language translation menu.  You can see below I’ve turned on all of the auto-translation features and picked the languages I want to support.
