Nintex DocGen for Salesforce

Are there any limitations around no of documents generated per day per user?

We're going to change our current office location and I though it would be great if we can use Setting --> Company information --> Address in our documents instead hard coding it in documents. Is there a way to display Salesforce company Information --> Address in documents or do I have to create a new object just to store this info?  Looking forward to your thoughts, ideas and solutions... Happy Friday!

Please help.   I am trying to determine what the ideal starting point for us to build out forms. For our client feedback forms, I want to store the form results in Salesforce and they need to relate to a client record. If I start as a form, I would use the form link to send an email to a client to fill In the form and have Nintex create the record in SF and pass the data through. How do I relate this new client feedback record to the parent record? OR It seems that I may need to start in Salesforce but forms are only available as a starting point or as a communication component which then requires it to be a task where the only recipient can be users of Nintex. Separately, there is also Nintex Workflow for Salesforce Forms but how are we supposed to use this as the only app available is the doc generator for drawloop in Salesforce app exchange.Thank you

Yesterday I updated our Nintex Drawloop package to its most current release.  When I did that, several of our super users can no longer access the DocGen Packages to make updates.  There were no changes applied to the Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, profile or users.  When the user attempts to open the DocGen Packages page, they receive the following message:Insufficient Privilege: You no not have the permissions needed to access Profile.An unexpected error has occurred.  Your solution provider has been notified. (Loop) What am I missing?  Why can the user no longer access this page?

I'm so glad I found the Nintex for Salesforce community!  I'm as green as green can be, and I'm hoping for some help on this error:A contact is required for this DocGen Package. There are no available contacts for this record.I have selected "Contact Required" for this DocGen Package, which runs from a custom object (Session).  The Session object has a lookup field to contact, Primary Contact.  It also has a lookup field to Account, which includes both a Primary Contact and multiple Contact affiliations.  I thought I had set these object relationships up in the relationships section, but apparently not?  Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to reference Salesforce Attachments/Files and file types in a Drawloop document?   For Example: Account | Attachments (or Files) Service Agreement     PDF Parts                             PDF Certificate                    jpg Healthcheck                PDF                  

I'm in Salesforce DocGen Admin - Users - User Permissions On the right I see "5 of 5 users provisioned" but I can only see 3 users in the Admin box and 0 users in the Users box. Where are the other 2 users? I need to adjust permissions due to staff turnover. Any guidance would be appreciated. When I try to add a user or admin I get License Seats Exceeded. 

Hello ... I have a checkbox field in Salsforce, <<Client_Special_Education>>.  If it is checked, I would like to return Yes on my document.  If if is not checked, I would like to return No on my document.  Here is my Word merge field, but it returns No everytime.  Even when <<Client_Special_Education>> is checked.   IF "<<Client_Special_Education>>" = "1" "Yes" "No"  * MERGEFORMAT  

On Nintex "Send document as email body" feature: When I try to send a pdf document in an email body, it throws following error message.  It works fine with the MS Word format, but throws an internal error if I change the document to a pdf. I followed steps according to this help video!https://learn.nintex.com/document-as-email-body-in-nintex-document-generation-for-salesforce/255236Created a DocGen Package, with "Email" delivery option and selected the 'pdf' document as the email template.Is this something not supported yet?

I successfully created a Salesforce connection in my NWC environment. In a workflow, when I leverage a Salesforce action like, Create a Record, I have no problem connecting to the Salesforce account but the drop down fields (Stage, Office Responsibility etc.) from Salesforce that usually populate the list results now say Bad Gateway.Every time I add a new field that leverages a drop down list the error message is Bad Gateway. Is this a Salesforce permission issue? (Screenshot attached) Let me know if anyone has run into this issue, or knows how to address is. Thanks!

Hello, I have a question about the replication process and how it replicates the data in salesforce to the templates. As shown in the first photo, I have several contract numbers, from CRP-89476 to CRP-89482. When I run the document generation, they are replicating correctly, but in a different order then how they were entered (see second photo). So basically it's starting at the highest number and working it way down.  My question: is there a way to pick how the data is being replicated? Like is there a filter or field that'll allow the order to be lowest to highest, highest to lowest, etc.? My end goal is to have the document template order be the same as it's been entered, if possible. Thanks!Ben

Hello,    Am new to Salesforce and Nintex. Need to create a SOQL query and am having trouble with the WHERE clause. The rest of the query works without the WHERE clause.   My starting object is Object 1 and I want the query to return results specific only to the record selected in Object 1. There is no replication.    Thanks.

Hi there,Hoping anyone can shed light on why this error always come up when trying to create a report when merging a salesforce report to the template on DocGen.This error is what I always get instead of the output I dream off!! :( No matter how many items I follow the steps this is the end result whenever this method is tried. The salesforce report is saved on a public folderAn error has occurred downloading a report. Check that all reports exist, are not obsolete, and can be exported. (ResourceInvalid) Please guide me on why this might be happening? Thanks in advanceS.aJ

Hi, all! I am attempting to create a proposal based on the Salesforce order object. I have everything working fine except when it comes to the dynamic inclusion of templates. I have four products each having it's own product family.  Each of the templates represents the product information for one of the products.  I want the templates to be included only when the respective product is added to the order.  For some reason I get one but not the others or I get none. I have tried using different tags from the order product object, but I can't get it to work properly. Does anyone know what I'm missing?    Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone!My SFDC BA is convinced we can use excel as middleware to perform language translations so I am trying to set that up now.  Ideally, the Addendum needs to be in the language the country uses (ie; US needs English and Spanish).  I have an excel file right now with 1 tab containing the Addendum in Spanish and a second tab in French.  I'm setting the table ranges per videos but I don't think its going to work as I don't understand how I can specify which tab I need to call on when running the package.  Has anyone had to do anything similar with language translations?  WE have to use over 20 different languages globally so I am looking for the easiest method to accomlish.  If excel as middleware is not best method, I am open to suggestions. Thanks all!Marie

Can you build a document package in Classic, utilizing Excel as Middleware (we would use it for languagetranslation purposes)and then have the end users in Salesforce run the package in Lightning?  I am not seeing any documentation on this or posts either so any guidance would be appreciated.

I have created a package on Opportunity and have also creaated a Advanced button on Opportunities list view to run the reports. When I run the report (which has opportunity ID as the first field as required) a window appears saying its getting processed but the no processed templates are showing up in the DocGen Queue tab in salesforce. The template is working fine on one test record on the package but not for mass generation.  

I am trying to create document that needs to have fields on the account layout for the account selected but also for their parent account. Can this be done without having to create formula fields on the layout for the parent account?

Hey folks- quick question here: We have multiple contract templates (from the .docx Word format) which are owned by multiple directors.I followed the "https://help.nintex.com/en-us/docgen/docservices/docgen-sfdc/Services/templates/AddImagesRichTextField.htm" guide for how to add an Rich Text Field to an object, and then added the image in both Salesforce and Word; that all seems to work just fine. The issue is that each Opportunity has a different owner, and I'd like the template to reference a different signature depending on who the Opp owner is.  My attempt to resolve this was to create a field on the owner's User record called "OwnerSig" and populate it with an image of their signature.  (The field has no restrictive permissions- everyone can see and edit it on all profi

I currently have a batch job setup the automatically initiates a package and attaches a Drawloop document to multiple records that meet XXX criteria on the 10th day of each month. The process works well, but in turn, creates multiple documents on each record separately. As a result, staff members are forced to click into each record individually and print each document one-at-a-time.With that said, is there a way to merge multiple records into a single, consolidate document? In other words, is there an out-of-box way, or a method that uses Apex Code that could merge separate draw loop documents from separate records into a single PDF document? The records are not related so that rules out using any kind of related list merge template in the doc itself.I have played around with the "Mass Generation" feature, but that seems to still attach documents separately. I can't seem to get the files generated with DocGen and DocuSign to be attached as Files even after changing the settings to use Files as the attachment preference. Reason I'm not using Insert-Update is because we are transitioning to Lightning and would rather use a flow to create a contentdocumentlink and attach that to the account when the opportunity is Closed Won rather then document generated. Any solutions out there?
