i have created  a K2 app that needs to be accessible on mobiles.i have it published as an applicatoin and is visible in K2 workspace app. not all people use the app, but for those that do, when the click on the link to the app, it loads in workspace and gives a Deep Link error how do i resolve this? cheersbrad

How do I create a workflow such that it emails individuals for their late tasks?  How do I also create a workflow to email on upcoming tasks?  I tried a date filter but throws an error message:  Conversion failed when converting date and/or tiem to character string.

unhandled exception while describing service. Inner value cannot be null. Parameter name Host This appears to be the Error I am getting when trying to create a REST SmartObject. The Swagger json appears to be upoladed to a Local server and not on the world wide web.why would I be getting this Error? Hi,Would like to check where to find the Security Audit Log for K2 Five 5.2?Saw an article "Security Audit SmartObject" from the K2 Portal, however this option that mentioned in the article I'm not able to find from K2 Five 5.2 > K2 Management, think the feature only available for K2 Five 5.3 version. Is there a place or a way to get the audit log for K2 Five 5.2, for the below? - amending of K2 workflow,- amending workflow approver,- amending of biz data in K2,- amending K2 account access rights,- account that login to K2 platform,- adding K2 account in K2 platform,- amending any configuration at K2 platform?. Appreciated your advice.Thank you.Demi

Hi,I installed my K2 Server wind AD in an AWS Instance, it is working locally but when I am looking to publish the site or reach it from outside, I am having some issues. I can reach IIS Default Server, but, when I use the IP:81 or IP:443 it nor works, I was reading that is an issue regarding local DNS created for AD Server, any idea?

Hi, I have a K2 form (K2 5.2) hosted inside a SharePoint Online site as iframe. When I click on the site url, the sharepoint site opens in EDGE but instead of K2 form, it will display " You've stumbled upon some vintage web tech". Is it the compatiability issue of K2 forms? Hi, We have a search function (that we can't change) that searches across certain databases for records. However, we would like to combine several of these calls into one smartobject method call that returns the results of the searches on individual databases into one list that we can use in a list view. Is this possible? In other words currently we need to do three different smart object methods with three list views to show the search results from the three different databases that we are searching in. The search methods all return the same fields, so ideally what we want to have is one smartobject method that in turn calls the search function three times for each database, combines the resulting lists into one list which we can use in one list view, rather than three.

Hi, i already set my K2 FIVE CORE ENVIRONMENT and configure it to access remotely, I can reach anywebsite but only for 20 seconds around while a screen that said "Smarforms is warming" and a clock goes down, after it complete, a error page appears that "Site cant be reached " and an error: DNS_probe_finished_nxdomain Attached, the screenshot of the page that I cant see. And after it complete the clock, an screenshot that is similar to DNS_PROBE.

we have a case in where an API receive a list of task to be redirected to another user, and it will iterate for each item and redirect the task to the user destination. The problem is we have a preventive measure so that if any of the redirect fails during the loop (connection down, task not found, etc.) it will undo the task that have successfully redirected, back to the original owner of the task. My Question is, Is it possible to undo the task that was redirected back to the original owner? if yes, how do i achieve this? Thanks.

Hi Team, i would like to check whether any one have implemented the GO To Activity feature which we have in Management Console for Admins to move the Work item to Any Stage depending on the need, in custom way where this feature can be extended to End Users. how this GO To Activity feature can be extended to End - Users , extending this feature to end users will have Pros and Cons but first would like to check the feasibility. There is a GoToActivity Service object found at K2 Management => Workflow => Management => Management Service using which we can create Smart object and extend this.  what is the impact if we do this on K2 Side. Thanks,Madhu

I have a task that has expired, I am not finding a way to "start" or restart this task, am I missing something or is it just not possible to continue this task. 

Hellou When you want to find out whether task have been delegated you have to acces SO Activity Instance Audit. It's fine but the info there is really hard to find a text there is like this: Worklist item XYZ redirected from DOMAINuser1 to DOMAINuser2 This is only info we have for delegated task. Our users need to have info whether task was delegated a from which user.  We are using custom reports for showing users all completed or acive tasks for selected WF but we cant show whether task was delegated, for this report we are using SO Activity Instance Destination with Process instance ID as filter. Another sub question may be whether it is possible to show in current task at least name of previous User Task Executioner. I know I can use some custom parameters but we really dont want to connect many SOs together and we want to use Out of box SO. Thanks.

Is it possible to copy and existing appplication save it under a new header and create a new application that not linked in any way to the original application that was copied  Regards Andy R

How to configure this for OAuth?So, for example: I'm logged in at K2 with my own personal user account. Then I want to execute the SMO send email method to send an email message from a specific mail account, so not my personal account. This is why we configured Exchange Online with Static Athentication. But since this service is going to be deprecated, we will need a solution for OAuth. As far as I have seen the OAuth Authentication always uses the logged in user unless the loggedin user is unknown. But in our case we still want to make use of that fixed mail account, even when the logged in user is kno

Hi, I already have installed my K2 server on promises, but, for covid-19 situation, the company is looking to publish the server for the internet, I can reach the ISS server using the IP, but when I use the IP:81 it doesn't reach de server.  I have an installation with AD and another with SQL MANAGER(for test purpose) and both of server are unable to be published, so let me know please if you have any suggestion. 

Hello, this question is probably silly, but I cannot get my head around it. Is there a way to create combined SmartObject method, that deletes all entires with a given parameter. I realize, that this could be done in Workflow Designer with Loop step - I just want to find solution that a process wouldn't be necessary. Lets say we have a Car SmartObject - this car has many Car_Parts. And when I delete this Car SO, I also want to delete all of its Car_Parts. There would be a method in Car SmartObject called Delete All Car Parts - which does exactly that.  I want to delete all of the car parts with this method(s), that takes parameter Car_ID. How do I configure this method(s) to achieve that - it doesn't seem intuitive to me. Many thanks.

I am installing K2 4.7 on a new Windows 2016 server because we have some 4.7 BP processes we need to retain before upgrading to K2 Five The Setup Manager is at the Configuration Status screen (see attached) but it is excruciatingly slow. The status message stays on Updating: Register_Control_xxxx for several minutes before moving on to the next one. This is very frustrating. What is taking so long?! There is no antivirus running, the server is at 10% CPU, what is it doing? Any ideas?

Hi Team,How we can control Control change event that get fired when we double  click any listview.We had some login on Dropdown change which Clear out the Textbox data If user Select some value. Since Listview Double click events fires the change method so value get lost if we double click the listview to edit the data. how we can prevent this issue. 

Hi,I try to create a smartobject that calls different HR Directorie webservices ( return format is JSON ) to retreive the manager of a user.I have no problem to perform the REST call, however i can't find out how to use the result of a previous service object in the following when the result is created from a deserialisation.Let me explain myself.To get the Manager I need 4 services object method call in my smartobject:1 - Call the HR webservice with the usere ID to retreveive all the user info ( which contains the manager id ) as a userobject list2 - The result is always an object list ( even when calling with an id ) so i need to deserialize the typed array ( no issue there )3 - I wan't to retreive the manager info so I call step 1 again with the manager id which is a smartobject propertie now4 - I deserialize the typed array My issue is during step 3, even if i can map the method parameter to the managerid ( as a smartobject propertie ), it is always empty ( it is not if i stop afte

We have developed K2 application with Custom database(SQL) and workflow.  Workflow is triggered on new data added using K2 application. Now we want to migrate old data into our SQL and we are ready to migrate it, but when we migrate data into SQL how we can trigerred workflow at different stages based on data. Is there any script available or do i need to triggered it manually.
