The following errors appear in SEQ: The same error can be seen in the installation logs of the system manager.It failed because the "Nintex Server - Authentication Service" couldn't start and was stuck in a "Paused" state: After investigating, we concluded that this particular installation couldn't find .NETCore6.*The RPA installer sets up .NETCore 6.* with the installation directory being "C:\Program Files\dotnet".Due to a discrepancy in the PATH environment variables where the specified dotnet path was "C:\Program Files (x86)\dotnet", it caused a mismatch between the directories, leading to the installer being unable to locate it. InstructionsThe workaround in this situation is to remove "C:\Program Files (x86)\dotnet" from PATH environment variables. Please follow the steps below: 1. Open Environment variables settings2. TopicThis article shows the location of the log files generated during the installation of the RPA Server. This applies to versions that do not utilize System Manager.Instructions In case of any issues experienced during the installation of the RPA Application Server, you can always refer to the logs generated during the installation process. To navigate to them, you will need to:Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Temp or simply copy and paste the aforementioned in the address bar. Once opened, you will see some files with a timestamp from when the installation was initiated. You can open the log files ending with the .Friendly.log suffix and look for errors. Once you've checked and located an error message, be sure to include them in the description of your ticket.

ProblemDoing changes to the RPA server requires the services to be restarted in order for the changes to take effect. This article describes the method used commonly to restart all Nintex Kryon RPA services on the application server. Solution1. Go to the Nintex Kryon installation folderFor v21.10 and earlier, look for the Kryon folder (e.g. C:\Kryon)For v22.3 and later, look for the Nintex folder (e.g. C:\Nintex)2. Find StopAll.bat, right click and select Run as Administrator3. From Windows Start Menu, search for Services.msc and verify that all Nintex/Kryon services have stopped4. After all services have stopped running, go back to the Nintex/Kryon folder, find StartAll.bat, right click and select Run as Administrator5. After 5 minutes, check that all Nintex/Kryon services are up and running.

ProblemIn some environments, internet access may be limited and as such, you will need to manually install the extension for Nintex/Kryon Connector for the browser. Solution- Download the CRX file you want to install: https://public.kryon.io/#RPA-Versions/Extensions/ a. For Nintex RPA version 21.10 to 21.10.5, use the Nintex Web Connector 21.10.5 b. For Nintex RPA version 21.10.7 and above, use the Nintex Connector 22.9.6.- Open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome and navigate to the Extensions page.- Enable Developer Mode- Drag the CRX file and drop it in the extension page.- It will ask for confirmation in the pop-up, so hit ‘Add Extension’ to proceed.- Now it will install on the browser and you can use it normally.
