I am trying to set rules on showing or hiding buttons based on results of a SQL Request and the delay of the results cause unfavorable showing and then hiding of the buttons. Trying to capture that the SQL Request has completed then invoke the rules.
I have a single line of text field that is narrower than 255 characters in a repeating section on a form. When viewed in Display mode and when printed to PDF two lines of text are displayed and any excess characters (highlighted in yellow) are hidden by the next field.We would like to view/print all the data in these fields. Is it possible to set these fields to grow so that they will display all of their contents up to the 255 character limit? Is there a way to print all the data in the fields?Otherwise if this is not possible, would I need to use a combination of limiting the length of the field (max characters) and the height of the field to allow for the maximum amount of data in the field?Using Nintex Forms 2010 version 1.11.3.1Let me know if you require any additional information. The following is automatically sent to the approver of a workflow. I need someone to point in the correct direction. Been hammering at this form half the day and am not seeing what I am doing wrong. I have a field called "Contact" if it is empty throw up a flag saying Required. This works fine. I have another field called "Contact Number". I have been setting a rule stating (using Item Property or Named Control) Point_of_Contact!="" then throw up flag as required. If I use the Item property it does not even flag as being required on submit. If I use the Named control it throws the flag and if I fill out the field it still is requiring to fill it out even though there is information in the field. I have several other fields that need to have a similar rule set based on input from another.
Good afternoon, we will be trying Nintex Sharepoint on mobile devices and are wondering what version does it run on. We have rather old ipad's .
I created a Nintex workflow sometime back which was using Regular expression to replace the string " to ". When i used Run Now in the past, it was appearing correctly as the Pattern.Today i received error from the workflow and it looks like the " becomes " in the Run now function. See the screen shot below. I'm assuming this is how it would be treating during the actual conversion when the workflow is running. Is my assumption correct? How can I treat the whole string as it is for the replacement? My Input Text is a XML which comes from nested Repeating table on the form.I'm on Nintex workflow 2013 3.1.8.0 and SP 2013.
I am using Nintex 2013 Workflow, Here is the structure :Primary Workflow#Secondary WorkflowPrimary Workflow starts secondary workflow with using call web service. and my Secondary workflow looks like this:Inside Primary workflow, it checks if user has approved or rejected the task, in case of request review Outcome will always be Approved.Problem is : After creating review task , the workflow ends and goes back to primary workflow. and Primary workflow thinks in case of review Task that outcome is no Approved since , Outcome is not Set and runs the logic of "Not Approved".I want to wait after Request review task until the task is completed.Here is my Request Review Task:Any help would be appreciated.I checked this thread , but I don't want task ID but wait until task is completed. (Populate task id as soon as the task is created – Customer Feedback for Nintex )
I'm working on a form that has a few panels, one of which has a single line of text control. It seems like this control doesn't save any information to the column it is connected to unless it's positioned below the submit button, which is extremely odd. The control in question is the long single line of text control in these screenshots. So, this first screenshot is what does not work. When I publish this form and try to use it, the FolderLink column is just blank after I put text in it and click Submit (the action on the Submit button is Save).But when I set it up this way, it does work:How can I get this to work with Step 3 above the Submit button?
I used query excel services and able to retrieve the data.How can i post them to the SharePoint list ? I got all the values stored in a variable and i used create item action to post the data. I created a workflow for a team where a user will send a request to an IT team for development. Below are the high level steps of the workflow:After customer submits the request via SharePoint, the workflow will: 1. Email mgr to let him know a request has been submitted2. Prompts manager to assign the request to a developer3. Sends email to developerThis is all working fine. However, the manager has asked if, on step #2, he can enter a start date. Then, the workflow continues to step #3 on that date. In other words, Step #3 will be configured so that the developer will receive the email on the date entered by the manager in step #2. I have added a Start Date prompt in Step #2 and have stored the date in the list. How do I go about holding Step #3 until the start date?Does this make sense?
created a repeater control with three text boxes ,created a function for the on change event ,its firing for the first row but not for the remaining
Symptoms K2 blackpearl can't update, these dependecies aren't met: - Microsoft SQL Server System CLR Types- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Management Objects Diagnosis Please verify and check that the x64 and x86 versions of the following installers are there. You can check by going to "Programs and Features": Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Management Objects Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Management Objects (x64)Microsoft SQL Server System CLR TypesMicrosoft SQL Server System CLR Types (x64) Solution I'm assuming that you do not see both versions and only have the x64 versions. There are TWO ways you can obtain these and download them: You can get the two installers directly from Microsoft via this link. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44272 ENUx86SQLSysClrTypes.msiENUx86SharedManagementObjects.msi OR You can use the link above or use the redistributable files that we ship with K2. See pic. This must be installed in the K2 Server -- both x64 and x
#Hi folks - I've been reading all the previous Q&A's but can't find a solution for my workflow (attached) because of the behaviours in Flexi-tasks.This is what should happen:Once you change the “Ready for approval” to “Yes, Go!” then “check in” the document, the workflow will start, sending review request emails to the people you have identified as “approvers” in the document information. Outcome: Changes requiredThe document will check out again and the “Ready for Approval” status will change to “Not yet…”. The review process will start again once the changes are made and the “Ready for Approval” status has been changed and the document checked in. Outcome: No changes requiredThe document will go through and automatic approval process, the version will change from minor (0.1, etc.) to major (1.0, etc.) and the status will change to “approved”.But, I want all the identified approvers to be involved in the review cycle, so none of the flexi-task behaviours work (e.g. first res
Hi experts, i'm a beginner in Nintex and need help here..I wanted to have 2 attachment controls with following validation respectively, somehow I'm unable to get the correct result. Not sure if anyone can help me out on this..Expected result:Validation check should be according to the individual attachment control. When Equipment type = FOAK, both attachment must attach at least 1 document respectively.e.g:1st attachment control = 1, 2nd attachment control = 1 --> PASS1st attachment control = 0, 2nd attachment control = 0 --> FAIL1st attachment control = 1, 2nd attachment control = 0 --> FAIL1st attachment control = 0, 2nd attachment control = 1 --> FAILActual result: 1st attachment running fine. 2nd attachment is NOT. Validation pass as long as there is an attachment in the form.e.g.1st attachment control = 1, 2nd attachment control = 1 --> PASS1st attachment control = 0, 2nd attachment control = 0 --> FAIL1st attachment control = 1, 2nd attachment control = 0 -->
Hi! Not sure if I'm being daft or not. When creating an approval or a review workflow, is there any way to create the workflow with the lookup "reviewer" or "approver", then publish the workflow so that the initiator is then prompted to select the reviewer(s) or approver(s)? i.e. I don't want a set group of "approvers" or a set group of "reviewers", as these will be different people for different documents and document types.Thanks in advance!
I build a request form for new entry and a task form for rework purpose. For rework, user is editing the data via the task form. I can reuse the textbox which I have created in Request form and copied & paste it in task form. The textbox reflect the same data in task form and request form. However, this seems not working for attachment component. The attachment is not reflected in task form.How to handle the attachment component in request form and task form for such implementation?

How do I setup a workflow to auto delegate task to a single user? I don't require any approvals to occur in the workflow. As far as i can guess, i need to do a work around that uses 'assign flexi task' to auto accept after 1 minue then use the action id as a variable to feed into the 'delegate task' to auto delegate to the user. Is there a better way?
Symptoms K2 Studio loads and is functional, yet all menu options have truncated text and an appended "..." at the end of each menu title when the thick client tool is loaded on Windows 8.1 machines Diagnoses This is due to a Microsoft resolution and display issue and can be changed using Control Panel settings. Resolution The following steps can be used to fix this display issue with the thick client designer on your Windows 8.1 machine:-Right-click on your desktop somewhere, choose "Personalize"-In the bottom left corner of that window, choose "Display"-This screen may initially come up with a slider or a list of 3 settings (small, medium or large). If you get the slider, check the box that says "Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays" and it should convert to the list of 3 options.-Choose the "Smaller" option, and this will ask you to sign out. Before you do make sure you save things already open on your desktop.-Sign back in and then re-load K2 studio. This should make
In a workflow, we are querying the usergroup.asmx web service to get the members of 3 separate SharePoint groups in the site collection. We use the same account to connect in each case. In two cases, it works without issue. In the other, it returns a (401) Unauthorized error, even though the connection tests correctly.What permission does the account need? I assume this is group specific.All groups allow Everyone to view membership, and membership is controlled by the Group Owner. Requests to join or leave are not allowed.Any ideas would be most helpful.

Working with Forms 2010, v1.2.10. Using custom javascript to validate a Currency field. The field is a drop-down list with multiple values, the default being '-select-'. However the code shown below allows the form to be submitted with the default entry (-select-). I could swear it was working last week. Any ideas?Here is the custom javascript from the item form://Validation for Currency drop down field function validateCurrency(source, arguments) { var selectedCurrency = NWF$("#" + wfCurrency + ' option:selected'); var selectedCurrencyValue = selectedCurrency.text(); var sourceText = arguments.Value; alert('selectedCurrencyValue = ' + selectedCurrencyValue); arguments.IsValid = true; if (selectedCurrencyValue == '-select-') { arguments.IsValid = false; alert('arguments.IsValid = ' + arguments.IsValid); } };
I created a site workflow that I believe is not suggested and maybe not best practice. I have been trying to avoid using scheduled site workflows since they are not available in office 365. However, I created a workflow last week for a business user that loops through all items(several ~800+) in a list and starts a workflow for each item.The purpose for the scheduled workflow is to update the static calculated column field daily based upon a date field(days until due). This business user wants this calculated field(days until due) in the list to be updated daily(dynamically) and of course SharePoint is not capable of performing this update automatically.I am using the collection and call web service technique for the parent workflow. The child workflow for each record is set to update a field in the list. This causes the calculated column to re-calculate. The workflows completed for the first few days but, it seems our farm has started to slow down (other reasons) and the workflows kee
