 Symptoms I removed all running instances from my development server. But looking at the Error Profiles, there are still errors listed. How do I clean this up? Diagnoses It appears as though some old error instances had become orphaned an so were unable to be removed. Resolution By retrying all of the errors that were appearing within the error profiles, we were able to recreate the instances that they were running. By deleting these instances, we were able to remove all of the error profiles and clean up your queue. 

Hi,I have a list, with multiple entries & I want to create a scheduled workflow, which will pick up certain entries e.g. in the title field contain the number 3.It would then gather certain information from the selected lines & place that information into one email notification.(Then when the notification has been sent, I plan to update the title field, to e,g, 4, to prevent duplicate data being sent each week)Is this possible? I am quite new to nintex, so a simple guide/suggestion would be greatThank you

Enhanced excel control with additional feature

Hi Guys,I need to develope a workflow for a customer and have the following use case:I have to create a site workflow which is supposed to run once per month (no problem so far)The workflow has to analyze a huge amount if list items (up to ~36000, this is where it get's tricky)The workflow should loop throguh the list and fetch some column values (easy)The column values are concatenated to create a some reports (easy)So far so good. Problem is, I can't get my workflow to run on this amount of items. After some time the workflow always runs into an error ("[Workflowname] failed to start"). Additionally I always get a correlation ID, but funny thing is there is no ULS log entry with the specified correlation ID (probably micrososft thinks that would be to easy for me). I ran the different workflows at least 5 times and always receive the same useless error.What I've tried so far:     1. Is it possible to do either a bulk delegation of assigned tasks or create a workflow that would reassign all the tasks that are assigned to a particular person, instead of opening each task and selecting the link to delegate?

Hi,I've a form that has a sql query that brings data on the form. Once the user selects from the drop down menu, it saves it correctly. The information (on that field) can be viewed in the view mode. but if try to edit the form, the value on the sql query field is not selected. Below are screenshots of the configuration, an example of the values selected, links to the list fields and then the same form in view mode and edit mode. It's causing data entry delay as everytime they edit the form, they will have to reselect the vendor over and over. any ideas why this is happening?The field configuration:  This shows the values for fields vendor ID and Vendor ID2, VendorID2 is the one that is supposed to be displayed on the form in view/edit mode. This is the form in View mode, which does show the VendorID2 field, with now issues.Once the user tries to edit the form, the selected value from the drop down list is not there, and it is a required field, so they will have to reselect everytime. 

I am building a workflow to send a reminder email 60 days before a date field in a SharePoint list. I am having issues getting the Calculate Date field to pull the date from field in the list. Any help? Thanks!

I need to reset the value that is stored in a variable. I am using a repeating section to fill out a form. In that repeating section, I store the value selected from a list lookup in a variable. That part works as intended. However, when I add a section, because that variable contains the same value from the previous section I get a conflict when I try to filter subsequent controls based off that value. For example:    The value stored in the variable from section 1 would be: "Item1"      The value in the variable when added a section would then become: "Item1, Item2"I need to reset the variable so that instead of storing the above, it would be cleared to just contain the value "Item2"I am open to any and all ideas. Thanks.

What are the suggestions for on a daily basis loading the latest Excel file from a shared drive (it is not on the SharePoint server) to a document library.  The example would be retrieving a file called contacts.xlsx located on a shared drive into the Doc Library on SharePoint called Contacts.

Dear community,I built a workflow where the requirement is that all tasks have a group of users assigned. And so it happens that a task is often accessed simultaneously by 2 people. They get no notification that the task is open so they start working on the large task form and the slower of both will get a message in the end (while trying to submit) that the task has already been completed.Is there a solution, a trick or a workaround to this situation because I can see how frustrating this can be? Hi All!I've created a repeating with a number of calculated values inside. There's one with a lookup function that works fine, others maths calculations that work fine, and then one with an If function that checks whether a tick box is set to true, if it is it takes its value from field A, if its not it takes its value from field B!This last one does not work.If I remove it from the repeating section it does work, but then the control doesn't function properly as it's not scoped to the row that it belongs to, so if I add a second row and select my tick box it will take override the first row and my calculations will be wrong.calculations are correct in this image with 1 rowNow with a second row my calculations go all crazy.If I move the calculated value inside the repeating section it simply fails to update when the tick box "Override Markup" is selected and the markup will stay the same. The calculations are correct, but the user no longer has the ability to set their own markups.My f

Sometimes it works without errors and sometimes a have an mix of outcomes and the workflow accept the Approval Task but the worklfow will never end. I have 2 workflow, and am trying to pass association data from Parent to Child. I don't see how to access the association data in the child workflow. Can anyone help with this?

Hello community.Splitting a workflow seems useful and reasonable but what would be the approach in this case to the Status column, where you have the text of the status and a link to it. This becomes a requirement expecially in cases when the workflow doesn't start or fails at some point and having multiple status colums (for all the sub-workflows) would not be too useful. I am currently splitting a large workflow into 7 pieces and was wondering how to solve this.Any ideas are welcome.Thank you.Dimiter

I am new to Nintex. I am working to replace our incident reporting forms. I currently have a form created with several panels; and these panels represent the required forms for the incident type being reported. The condition of these panels are based on the report type selected. My question is, is it possible to delegate the panels (forms) to the appropriate person to complete, and can I print all the  panels(forms) as individual pdf documents? I initially created a form that captured a few pieces of information and this kicked off the workflow, however they'd like everything to be in the one form, so that these tasks are done from the one form.Any suggestions are appreciated. 

Dear all,I'm using Nintex Forms 2013 and the replace() function gives me some troubles.I get a string like this, from an people picker field:XXXXXX|YYYYYY|StringOfInterestWhere the length of the "XXXXXX" and "YYYYYY" substrings (at least to my knowledge) are not known. I want to extract the substring "StringOfInterest", i.e. replacing "XXXXXX|YYYYYY|" with "". I am using the expression  (.*|){2} , which does exactly what i want to, when i enter it on https://regexr.com/ , but if i use it in the replace function in a calculated field like so:replace(PeoplePicker,"(.*|){2}","")i always get an empty string (yes, PeoplePicker has a value in it). If i use something like this:replace(PeoplePicker,"(.*|){2}","k")i get the output:k,which implies that the expression matches, but disregards the umatched part of the source String. This sounds to me like a thing that the replace function shouldn't do, or did i misunderstand the replace function? It would be nice if someone could shine a light on m

Filename is grayed out in the 'Set a Control's Properties' rule. Resolution Documents will need to be uploaded then renamed. This ensures that future uploads are unique, though it will still throw an error if a duplicate document name is submitted, so you may need to clear any existing documents that could conflict.- Pass back the 'Name' field from the Output Mappings of the Upload Document method to a Parameter- After the Upload Document method, execute the Document Library SmartObject's 'Rename' method, passing in the name in that parameter and your new unique name (could be something like [Parameter][ID] to make it unique)Regarding deletion:- On the Edit/Display forms' Get Documents calls that pull in the form's associated attachments, return the Output Mapping

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times but I am new to Nintex and am not even sure what I am searching for.  My question is how do I set the values of multiple items based on the value of another item.  Example:Item 1 = NA > then items 2, item 3,and item 4  = NAI'm trying to automate a form to reduce Once again, if I knew the terms I was looking for with nintex I would probably be able to find the answer quickly, but unfortunately I'm not sure what that would be right now.

All,  I have a workflow in PRD. Due to periodic enhancements size is grown up to the maximum. Client asked me to make couple of more changes but due to large size I  have suggested to split the workflow into two. My question here is what are things to keep in mind while changing the design and going with splitting the workflow ? There are 50 instances are still running of current workflow. Do I need to work with the client to finish them first and also ask them to stop initiating new instances (downtime to work on new changes) ? I am using Nintex o365. Thanks,Rahul

How do I validate a single line text box in a repeating section to take values only in between -101 to 101. The value entered can be -100.9 (any number of decimals) and 100.9(any number of decimals) but not -101 or 101. Please help.

Hello folks!  I hope someone can educate me on this one, but I'm using the Set a Condition action in my workflow to determine whether it should proceed through the workflow or not.  It currently has 5 conditions to check for with OR as the operator.  The conditions being evaluated are yes/no checkboxes in my form.  Below are screenshots from Nintex Workflow 2010 and how the Set a Condition action is setup.  The issue here is that it is failing every time no matter what the value is in any of the check boxes.  Please let me know if I should provide more information.  Thanks and forgive me if this is not the proper forum to post this question into.  I'm still fairly new to Nintext Workflow.
