Hi, we are working on one skuid page, there is a requirement that one click of button it will open another page/popup, this page will have integration with external web service and getting the multiple search result from external web service.Let’s say that we are using table components to store that search result on page and on selection of button/radio button of individual search result, it should close the current popup and populate that data back to parent(which was opened previously) page. we are just looking for high level approach that, on selection of any row in table, how can we close the popup and send data to previous page. Thanks in advance ! 

Is it possible to have the sorting of a table by column run on the client side rather than querying the server? Like how you can select to have the table search run on the client rather than going to the server?My actual requirement is to sort a table by a column but preserve row selections - if there’s an option I’m missing that handles the above, preserving selections whilst sorting may already be handled…

I have a use case were I need to embed a Skuid page into a visualforce page using  , I have tried passing parameters example:Nothin works, I’m actually creating a PreLoader using the other Visualforce page to set a loading effect.I’m sure whats under the hood on the Skuid.page component but there does not seem to be an attribute for parameters

Hi, Please consider this data model, Account –> Opportunity –> OpportunityLineItems I have account as my master model. so according to my understanding I can pull only account field in layout. now, the requirement is once I have to display related opportunities in picklist and once this picklist selection is changed, I have to render another picklist which will contains OpportunityLineItems of selected opportunity. I am able to achive first part to show all opportunities related to that account in picklist through custom render, but not sure how can I render another picklist which contains only those opportunityLineItmes related to selected opportunity. we are new to skuid and any code sample will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.  

Hello everyone, Just curious on how to get those beautiful colored icons like the ones used on the attached screen shot. Do I have to pay for them?It is mu understanding that we cannot create custom icons. Is this correct?

Hello, I have address fields in the Account Model that I would like to have autopopulated in the Opportunity Model, or at least have a button that will bring them over. From my understanding, to create a button I will need add a page title section and add a button that performs multiple actions with an action for each field I want to bring over. If this is correct, I’m not sure what value I should be using for each action. I currently have the first action as: Action Type: Update a field on rowsModel: OpportunityField: AVSFQB_Billing_Address_CValue: ??? I want to bring over a field from the Account model. Thanks for your help 

Is there a way to prevent the picklist that shows “user” and “group” when using the OwnerId reference field?I would like it to not show the picklist and only show user’s on the look up.

I’m having trouble with check boxes that are in read mode. To get them in edit mode, I have to double click outside of the actual box. When the box is in edit mode, I can click on the actual box without a problem. My skuid pages are wrapped in VF pages using skuid:page and have a custom css theme applied to the whole page. However, I can’t seem to find where this target box was changed. All other fields allow me to double click on the actual field without a problem. Any idea why this is or what css property could have been changed?

I know this question has been previously posted, but none of the solutions are working for me. I have a Wizard component that contains the opportunity object and a custom object that is a child of opportunity. The file upload component does not work. It doesn’t work when pointed to either object or when I tried to create a separate page just for the upload function. It does not work in preview mode or production.  I have followed the tutorials and troubleshooting suggestions with no luck. I am using the most current version of SKUID. Thanks!

Hi,I have a table with normal edit function and mass update, where some fields have look up values. I am using an auto-complete for field rendering. The search returns correct data in edit mode, but for the mass update pop up, the auto complete returns salesforce ids. Do you have any solution for this?Thanks!

I want to prepare Custom dependent pick-list using JavaScript for external many to many relationship objects.Let say , “Sample” and “Sample 2” are two objects. "Sample Junction " is a junction object.Here There is custom pick-list which have “sample” objects ids.Based on selection of “Sample” object id, i want to prepare pick-list which have “Sample 2” records values. means it has to check the values in junction object.How to achieve this?

Lookup filters and model condition where content is “Field from another model”, there is an option (New Option), “If no row in Source Model, then…”. There are two options for the attribute, 1. Abort This Model’s Query2. Deactivate This ConditionIt always  deactivates the condition even if we select the option 1 (Abort This Model’s Query) if there is no row in source model. We are getting this issue both in Superbank patch 7 and patch 8. 

I’m wondering if it is possible to set custom filter options using numeric ranges. I have a currency field on accounts that ranges from 0 to 2 billion, and I’d like to split that up into a handful of ranges that I can filter by, such as: 0 - 5 million 5 million - 50 million 50 million - 200 million 200 million - 500 million 500 million + Is it possible to do this with the manual filter options settings?

When trying to add a new row to a model I get a missing Parent ID error. Other rows in the model are rendering correctly because of a filter on the parentID

Right now when we first come to the page, the middle of a Donut chart seems to automatically display the biggest piece of the chart. Can we change this to display data from a specific piece, not necessarily the biggest?

I have a Parent object with its own model and a child object that has 20 models. The child object models all have different filters so they have different default values. However, I have a few triggers running on this child object. The issue is that when my save button attempts to save all the models on my skuid page, it attempts to save each model one at a time. This is a problem because there are queries in my child object trigger that get called excessively. Ideally, this should be saving all models of the same object type at the same time. Am I reading this situation correctly, is this how skuid actually saves models? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve created several custom components for our org that are basically arrangements of skuid components that we’d like to be able to use again and again.We can’t use page includes (see Barry’s idea) because the components need to reference different models, or models with different conditions, depending on the situation.However, if I package components up using a custom component, there is no way for us to modify the standard skuid components within that custom component in the builder, without a bunch of custom properties that would change the layout on runtime (almost re-creating the skuid builder). What would be ideal is some kind of library of “component sets”, that we could drag onto a page, that would still allow us to use the skuid builder to modify components within the set.On the other hand, if I define a skuid component via XML inside a custom component, is there a way to tell the builder that it is a skuid component? Hey guys!I have a row action that opens a drawer with a page include. I am trying to get the details of a custom object to open into that drawer, but having issues how to pass the id of the row object to the detail page.

I am using conditional rendering in the mobile app to dynamically build out a form based on the picklist value selected.  I have the conditional rendering added to the “Division” so all fields withing the division appear together.  When I use the picklist to select the value the conditional rendering works correctly BUT it squishes the division and all the fields into 10% of the screen.  The same behavior can be seen if you Preview the page in a web browser.  In a web browser, however, you can resize the browser and the division will snap back to take up the whole screen.  On the phone though there is no way to resize the screen.I did just discover if select the value in the picklist and it renders incorrectly I can switch it to a non-rendering value and then change it back and then the whole division renders in the full screen.  But I can’t tell my end users that.  Please let me know if there is a known fix. As always, I appreciate the help and the awesome product.Thanks!Rich
