Nintex Workflow

NWC form.. I'm trying to set a default value for a Data lookup control based on a selection chosen on the selection made on another data lookup value. The regular choice field has the option to set "Default Value" but not Data lookups.. is there a way I can achieve that in NWC form?

I have a workflow where i need to convert epoch time to standard UTC time.I have created a workflow (maybe too long but it works) where i get today's time, do a date difference calculation in minutes, multiply that too get my milliseconds.   It all works  when i convert from a date to epoch time in milliseconds but when i convert the other way around i get the date and time format as follows:2020-09-22T02:03:00Z Does anyone know of a way to convert the date without having the "T" and "Z" letters present, which i understand are for the time format. Cheers Marc

So I was wondering if there's a expiration date for this Form URL? If yes, then I could make a note in my email to notify people. Thank you!

Hello, I am just creating my first form using the Nintex Workflow Cloud. This is a simple form which creates an item on a Sharepoint list every time it is submitted. I don't want to have duplicates, so one of the columns on my Sharepoint list only accepts a unique value. I need to find a way to know when the "create an item" fails (because it is a duplicate) , so i can send the user to an error page.How can i accomplish that? Thank you.

I'm working on an approval workflow that allows the end user to choose who to send the approval to.  We are using an email control currently and am running into an issue where people are miss-spelling the email address which terminates the workflow.  I do not want to maintain a separate email list in SharePoint as that would be another list to maintain.  Instead I would like to call Azure for emails addresses, however, it limits you to 999 rows to return.  As we have over 1100 employees, how can I ensure I return everyone's email address I need.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kyle Barton

I am looking to query a SharePoint List and get all items that were created today. Once it gets into the evening, the UTC for "Current Date and Time" gets into the next day. (i.e. when I run it at 09-09-2020 9:50pm EST, Current Date time returns 2020-09-10T01:50:46Z). I know I can convert that to a string and convert to my timezone, but then how do I convert that back to a DateTime object? The query requires a DateTime since the SP field is a DateTime

The users are filling an Input start Form on NWC with attachments.  we want to generate a PDF into document template from the filled form and append the attachments provided on the form to the generated PDF as one document before sending it to the users to approve.  We are able to use docgen to generate the pdf from the form data. But can someone help and explain how can we merge the attachment files? detailed steps will be appreciated..  new to NWC.    Thank you!

There is a SharePoint Online list and some items have one or attachments (actually images that I need to integrate with DocGen later). So, I was jumping up and down with Release 107 with all these great new actions. You can imagine I had a good weekend. But now it's Monday and... something doesn't seem to match.To store the attachments of a SharePoint Online list this is to me the basic component workflow:Basically: I get the array of names. Then loop through them and store the files. All done. But the pain already shows in the picture. The Get Attachment Names action demands an object (I love these objects and how well they are integrated in the UX) as a result. Instant protest from the action: Must be inside the Loop For Each. ??? Hey Nintex Community, Just had some complaints about failed instances. When I went to check on them, they all failed at the same point: a "Get user details" action which takes as input the email variable stored earlier in the workflow (using a "Query user" action) and produces as output the associated name (in this case, of our admin assistant). When similar issues have occurred in the past, it was usually due to small changes in employee titles--I have the workflow set up to find email addresses based on job titles, so as to avoid issues with staff turnover. I checked the assistant's title, which had indeed changed by a few characters (a word was no longer abbreviated). I updated the title in the Query Users box.  However, unlike in the past, this didn't fix the problem. I still got a "Bad Request: email is required" error at the point in the workflow when the email variable should have been used to look up the admin assistant's name.

Hello, I am receiving this error when trying to update a Salesforce record at the beginning of a component workflow. Full Error Message: {"error":"request id: 5f3d74f1e4b09209fe15ff17 response code: 404, message: Provided external ID field does not exist or is not accessible: [], provider message: "}Here is the initial actions of the workflow:The "update a record" and "retrieve opportunity field" actions both reference the same Salesforce ID. The update action will throw the mention error when running the workflow. If I disable that action, the all other uses of the ID work fine, including another update action later in the workflow. 

Hi, we want to align our workflows similar to our code building with a Dev, UAT and Prod environment style. With that said, making multiple copies of a workflow and keeping it all straight in the same NWC location is messy and not ideal. I thought I read somewhere about getting a separate site for this but can't recall where or how. How do you handle this AND if it is a separate site how do I get this started?

We're using Okta for some connections which contain some sensitive/secret information (passwords). We do not want this information visible to others, beyond admin type controls making these viewable what other ways can I store secret information like this?

Hi all,  I have a Lookup to a sharepoint list of names. I can pass the selected name to the document tagger and to an email just fine.  If I include it in the file name of a document generation the flow fails on error 500. 500 - {"requestId":"5f45b705e4b097cd39316557","message":"Internal failure while handling request"}Instance ID: de5d3181-adaa-405c-b769-f51c92088310_1_1 Checking the instance details I see a " " after the selected name. This is not coming through in the email or tagged document. But I'm wondering if maybe this element is somehow getting into the 'create pdf' step. PDF's can't have a """ in the name so that could be causing the error if that's what's happening.  My list doesn't have after the names so I'm guessing this is some normal aspect of a lookup. Wondering why I can't find anyone else with the issue though. 

In NWC, if I have a decimal variable that I want to display two decimal places, I cannot. Am I missing something?  Ex: if the value is 1.00 and I output that value, it comes out as 1.0  Setting the "Default Value" setting to 0.00 reverts to 0.0 on save and there is no Currency type.

Hello,  I have a component workflow that takes a date/datetime value from Salesforce and enters the date into a task form. The date in the form is different than the date in the workflow, and I am wondering how I can fix that. Example: In the workflow, if I use log to instance details, I can see that the date value is for example "2020-05-05." (May 5th, 2020). However, in the task form, this date will appear on a date form field as May 4th, 2020. And if I show the time on the form control, it will be May 4th, 2020 6:00pm. 2 screenshots:  

Hello.  Is there any way we can remove the page number on the top left corner of the "forms"?  Also, is there a way to format the choice multiple and single?  I'd like to make the questions in bold letters if possible.

Hi, We are using Nintex Workflow embedded in our website using the iframe code it gives when we publish the workflow. It works well. However, we would like to pass a URL parameter to it from the parent window (the website page).How can we do this as when I tried to pass the URL parameter using simple javascript like the below doesn't work.It doesn't even seem to call the onload function. In NWC I need to create an xtension using api v3.all the posts I’m seeing suggests that NWC can’t utilise v3 at the moment.is this the case or am I just configuring the xtension wrong?. I keep getting an error saying the specification is incorrect. cheers marc

This maybe too stupid a question to ask - I have just logged into a new customer Tenant but i do not seem to have the ability to create a 'Default Storage Location'. The option is missing from the Dashboard.I've confirmed it's there in my dev environment, it's been a while since starting from scratch and i guess i'm missing something very obvious.Has anyone come across this before?. Thanks Marc
