Nintex Workflow

Hi Team,My requirement is to get certain information with Web service (response with JSON Object) and display the content in a Tabular format in the Form Design.  Currently I'm able to design the html element in a text variable and pass on to the Form Design. But the view is in TEXT format instead of HMTL.  Is there any way or workaround to render TEXT value as a HTML element when the user's View this form? RegardsPrabha

Hi All, I am coming to NWC from a K2 background and I am suprised to find how limited the forms functionality is, or perhaps I can't find the answers I am looking for in the documentation or by experimenting on NWC.  My question:How do I create forms that are not bound to a workflow? A simple form that the user can use to view data or perform tasks that definitely don't require workflow? In a traditonal approach a user would have a landing page or dashboard where common information is available pertaining to the business, in K2 you would create a SmartForm and that SmartForm would be made available on Workspace or perhaps by link etc. The user can then view data from a database, query business information or what have you.  This does not seem like a viable option for NWC. Am I wrong?

Is there a way to create a SharePoint group on O365 from the Nintex Workflow Cloud?I have tried using the "Call a web service" action to call SharePoint REST API for "Users, Groups and Roles" and make a POST request to the URL. However no groups are being created.  TIAAndre  

I want to do a rework on the previous task, but the values on the task forms are readonly, so it makes my rework action impossible  as I cant edit them like we have in Nintex K2.

Our current workflow generates a document and then sends it via DocuSign. The problem is that there are no predefined fields for signature since it is not a DocuSign template. The signer has to drop their signature manually to the document. We need to take a generated document and merge it with a DocuSign template so all the signature fields are already marked. Is there some way to do this?

Hi,I am working on CRM D365 sales. Requirement is I have a Entity "Enquiry" -  field name - "due date". Need to send email notification to owner when the due date is less than today. When the record is overdue. How to achieve this. I have never enabled any email configuration so far. can you please help me step by step. I have power Automate but dont know how to link it . 

I want some of the fields on my form to be populated automatically like we have in Nintex K2 when I populate a particular field. I.e when I populate a particular field, I want other fields on the form to be filled automatically by getting their data from an external datasource like sharepoint or sql server. Filling all the form manually consumes a lot of time and is stressful hence, the reason for asking how to implement this feature

We created an NWC workflow with several actions that update various lists in a SharePoint Online site.We created a copy of the workflow, and then proceeded to update all of the "SharePoint Online - Update items" by pasting (or typing) a the URL of the new target site in "SharePoint site URL". At first, everything proceeded as expected: open the action, update the URL, proceed to the next action, and repeat.  However, after saving, publishing, and then reopening the workflow, we see that not all of the updates persisted; a URL string is there, but the value is the same as when the workflow copy was created.  We have tried various combinations, e.g. edit the URL and save and/or publish the URL before editing the next action; update the URL and then retrieve the lists; and so forth. Sometimes the edit sticks, most times they don't. So after a few hours of this, most of the actions are properly updated, but many are not. Anyone else experience this? An

Hi,I have an NWC form with a Date only field (Date of Birth) and using SharePoint Create an Item action to send its value to SharePoint. I'm directly mapping the list field to the form Date of Birth Variable. The list field is a Date Only field.When the item is created in SharePoint the date value is always a day behind. i.e. when I select 01/06/2021 as the date in the NWC form, it shows up in the list as 31/05/2021.I'm guessing this is because the Time Zone is coming into play. How do I set the date correctly in the workflow so the list item shows the same date as in the form.The regional settings in both form and the list is set to UTC+08:00 Perth Thanks!

I have a Choice field on my form, and the choices are supposed to be (Last Name followed by Comma and Credential). Example: Choice 1: George, MD,  Choice 2: Mary, PhD, Choice 3: Clark, PharmD, These Options are comma-separated, so if I put commas after each choice options, my choices come out as the following on Nintex form:George,MD,Mary,PhD,Clark,PharmD. What I wanted to accomplish:George, MD,Mary, PhD,Clark, PharmD  What I wanted to accomplish is "except the comma within my choice options. Disclaimer: I am not a developer. I have seen similar questions on web forums, but NO ONE seems to give direct answers.   

When I create a workflow with a "form" start event, my only options for access are "authenticated users in the tenant" or "anyone with the url". What if I want to restrict a form to a particular group or department in the company? How do I do that?

In NWC using the update items action I want to set the value of a date column to be empty. I have an assets list which staff check out and check in items.When an asset is checked out I set the custom date column 'Check Out Time' to the current data/time. When the asset is checked back in I want to clear out the date/time from the 'Check Out time' column. In the update items action it will not let me publish the workflow when I leave the value for the field blank.I cannot create a variable of date/time without setting an initial value.If I try a text variable which is empty the workflow errors on executing the update items action. Anyone come across this before and found a solution?

Hi all, I've noticed in the 'What's New': 'Highlights from Release 129', that user context is now available in NWC forms: User Context VariableForm designers can now access contextual information based on the logged in user that is accessing an authenticated form. Designers will be able to use the signed in user’s first name, last name, and email address. Can anyone confirm whether this is available from NWC starting forms?I can't seem to see where these variables are available in a starting form. Thanks

We have (Nintex 2013 On prim) all our forms coded in Classic design.What do we do when / if to move to Nintex Online? And do we have the same options as in Classis design here?

Hi,I hope someone can help me, as I'm going crazy here...I'm trying to set up a workflow based on an existing survey on my site.  I want the workflow to automatically trigger an email to be sent based on a response in the survey - when the email address field is completed I want to trigger an email to that address.Can anyone tell me how I do this?Thanks in advance!Teresa

I'm sure this is easy, but I am having a very difficult time. I've used on prem, but am new to cloud.  The workflow starts when a new item is created which brings in the start variables. I can't edit those on the form, so I tried setting up a Get Item to bring back the details. Turns out those values are also inherited from a variable and cannot be edited on the form. If I add a single line text and set the default value to equal of the variables (Start or Get) I can edit it, but I cannot seem to pass that edit through to the list because the form variable is grayed out when I try to add it to the Update Item action.  For example, the workflow has an Amount field. I want the user to be able to change the Amount on the form and have the list reflect that change. The Update Item action works if I manually set the Amount, but I want that done by the user via the form. Much appreciated! 

Happy monday friends,I am creating a workflow that generates up to 11 separate templates based on a nintex form. There will be scenarios in which not all 11 are needed, so i have applied a condition under "Include based on condition" on the doc gen action. Very simply, if a certain field is not empty, the template should generate.  This is not working. Here is a screenshot of an example. I've tried using different fields, i've toggled between 'any' and 'all' (it always defaults back to 'all' if there is only one condition), i've also tested with 'include if the field is empty' in case it happened to be opposite day.  Seems no matter what, all 11 templates always generate. As always, i very very appreciative of any advice.  

Hi Nintex Friends,Would anyone know if it is possible to send multiple documents for signature via the DocuSign Action? I have a workflow that creates up to 11 separate PDFs, using 3 separate Doc Gen actions. Each Doc Gen action saves to the one collection variable. I can only seem to get the first document to send using DocuSign. Tried the loop for each function, that didn't work.Thank you for any advice.Danielle

Greetings friends,I am looking for suggestions on the best way to accomplish a task.1. We are using the Document Generation action to generate up to 11 different templates.2. All the docs that get generated will need to save to the same directory with unique names When using a single Doc Gen action to set up multiple templates (separate PDFs), I only see one output file option. I don't know how to set it to dynamically name each generated document uniquely. Would it make sense to use 11 Doc Gen actions for each template? Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm sure this is an easy problem to solve for those more experienced.

Hi i have a nintex form setup with a data source to a sharepoint online list.  The lookup works perfectly but i want to be able to prefill other form fields with data captured during this lookup.  I can get it to filter the query depending on that initial field selection, but this then requires the form user to hit the drop down box to select the only option.  Is there anyway to prefill this field without the user needing to select an option?  

Hey everybody, this is my first post - I hope I get everything right. My challenge: I have a SharePoint Online SiteCollection with a library where I want to Upload a file and let the user define some (managed) metadata for it. In the first days of Nintex for Office365 I had a similar challenge and ended up with a list where I enter the file as an attachment - and then let the workflow transfer it with some metadata into the document library. Now after a lot of time I want to accomplish this scenario - form upload to sharepoint online - via the Nintex Workflow Cloud. After some research I'm a little afraid I have to do it with the same workaround again? I need a trigger beside the new/edit of the document library. The public form URL as the start point sounded like the perfect solution. But there I have no connection to my sharepoint metadata or an "easy" way to drop it in the library. If I chose the

I have noticed that randomly some form-based workflows do not include the "Code to embed form" field when they are published. Indeed, I think I have seen this field appear later for some forms.Is there a way to control this?  Why not always include the embed code? I have a new form I need to embed and there is no embed code.

Hello,I'm looking to send an email 2x per year on Jan 15th and July 15th, following a reminder email 15 days after if the task is not completed. This workflow will repeat each year on those dates.I don't know what logic to us first. Can someone please advise what I should use or do?
