Nintex Workflow

I am trying to get the ID of a newly created list item stored in a list with SharePoint Online. I have been able to get the first item, or the last items, or all of the items, but I just need the ID of the item that is created when the SharePoint Online list adds the ID. I also need to be able for more than one user to go in to complete forms and get the related ID to the form. Users may possibly be submitting forms simultaneously. I used a loop, but it’s only acquiring the last item. What do I need to do, to get the created SP Online ID field value, based on the related form that was completed?  

I am facing the following issue.Recently starting to migrate to NAC, while using on-premise workflow the permissions are inherited from parent and the workflow would run using the requester’s level of access and assign tasks to approvers with no issue. But now in Nintex Automation Cloud, i see issue when anyone create a list item and there is a NAC flow running upon create list item. I get error message on the instance as “[Task.FailureInitiatingTask] Failed to initiate task”. Then i would go to the user management and assign participant role to the user who is about to get the task for approval. It would then fix it. But send an email to the approver when i add to create account in NAC and password everything. Do i need to add all the users who will be part of workflows in the user management? or am i missing something here. It will be a headache to maintain these users and also manage when anyone leave the company.

I have leave start date , leave end date and duration fields I want the duration field to be automatically calculated from start and end fileds like this (leave end date- leave start date)+1 how can i do this?

Hi Team, I have a form where an applicant can select one of 3 choices (the radio button is called rbExpenditureChoice). Each choice leads to a different branch in the workflow.Form radio buttonBranching action by valueHowever, when I go to test the workflow, I keep getting an error.Workflow failureI have disabled this branch by value action, and the rest of the workflow works, but as soon as I enable the branching action, it keeps failing.Any advice is appreciated.

Nintex Workflow Cloud, when an item has been submitted, there is the 'Start Event' variable. Is there a way to get only the items that have been added or modified after the 'Start Event'? Would like to add only those items to a log file at the end of the workflow prior to completion so we can view only what was changed.  I have tried using the "Query a list", but only getting 'True' or 'False' and would like to get the actual column name with the changed or added item, if that is possible.Sorry if this sounds confusing. 

Our form features a multiple choice field(radio buttons). Is it possible to implement programming that dynamically disables certain options based on the selection of others? For instance, if a user selects 'eggs,' is there a way to automatically gray out the option for 'juice' to prevent its selection?

I have downloaded the Workflow comments plugin but I can't seem to add it to my tenant. First, the instructions say to “Import the plugin and use the Element name: wf-comments.” I guess I’m not understanding how to import the plugin, nor which JavaScript file I’m supposed to upload. When I downloaded the plugin and extracted the files, there are two folders - _MACOSX and workflowcomments - each of which contains five JavaScript files. I assumed I would use the file called workflow-comments (in the workflowcomments folder), so I tried uploading it and using the Element name as described. But I get the error “Failed to load the plugin definition.” In fact, I get this message regardless of which JS file I try to upload.I have also tried copying the JS files into a SharePoint folder and using

Hi All, I wanted to assign a flexi task whenever a calendar event is filled in sharepoint online.I am a first time user of NAC and i am trying to send approval email to manager whenever people are going for vacation. But we have multiple locations and multiple managers, so i have created a master list and adding lookup in the calendar list so i can use query a list action just like in on premise to match the ID’s and get the manager value from the master list and assign the task.when i query i am not getting the lookup values of the list i am starting the workflow to match to the master list, it should be easy right?But i am finding it very hard to achieve this simple task in Nintex Automation cloud, any help is appreciated.  

Hi guys,We are using an internal API to call Nintex and assign tasks. We will be passing it several blocks of text and I would like to somehow format it correctly into the task emails. A basic element is creating a line break, but I cannot get it to work. The number of items in the list can change each time, some runs it wont have a list at all.Step 1. Create a string with line breaks.Step 2. Looks okay in the Instance details. Step 3. Email arrives and the formatting is gone, and it’s all one sentence.

I submitted a comment on the NAC Form Plugins topic, but it’s a relatively long thread and my comment is kind of “buried” at the bottom, and I haven’t received any replies. So I thought I’d start a new topic.A couple of months ago I downloaded the JS-Insert plugin and it seems to have been successfully installed in my tenant, but it is not available on the form design palette. This is what I see:I’ve tried both hovering over and clicking the warning icon, but nothing happens. Any explanation for this icon and the unavailability of the plugin? 

Hello, How I can make a decision if the customer balance greater than the limit or order amount greater than the same limit choose escalate, based on the lsmaller amount and he can approve either one of them is fales but if the 2 is true he cant approve 

Apologies if this is covered somewhere else, but I was not able to find it. In NAC Tasks, I am trying to understand the difference between “Reminders After”, “Subsequent Reminders” and Escalation after (Calculate Date).(For purposes of this question, let’s say all reminders are in “Days”, and it will be based on the current date.)Is [Subsequent Reminders] the number of days after the initial reminder?  Or is [Subsequent Reminders] the number of days that the reminder will be sent out for? So, if I want the first reminder to go out in 3 days, and I want 4 subsequent reminders (every day), and I want it to be escalated “after’ the 5th reminderFor example:[Current Date] - January 1, 2024 Send out Reminders on 1/ 4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7 Escalate on 1/8For the above example, would this be my configuration: Reminders After - 3  Subsequent Reminders - 4 Escalated After (calculate date) - 5

I have a workflow in NWC.  There is a "Assign Task to Multiple Users" which uses a form.  Once that form is filled out by whoever first gets to it, I want to update a Sharepoint List with the new information.  I've done this in the past but what was used in the past and works, isn't the same as it is today and I can't figure out how to make it work.  Can someone please help.  Let me  know if you need more information.  Thank you in advance.

Hi,I am working on a PoC and need to automatically stage workflows. I am thinking of 2-3 NAC-Tenants (DEV, INT, PROD) where Azure Devops deploys the workflows between the environments.Fortunately, several API endpoints already exist (https://developer.nintex.com/docs/nwc-api-docs/595de848de0f1-activate-a-workflow) but I lack of a way to publish workflows and assign the intended usage (Test, Prod) automatically.Has anybody more experience in this field?Many thanks

Hello,in the Nintex onPrem version it was possible to define a start event condition only for an update event.So that the workflow starts everytime a new element is created, but only on a condition, when an element is updated.It seems to me, according to the documentation, that this differentiation is not possible with NAC.Is there any way to make this differentiation with NAC, or is this a missing feature?Best regards,Niklas

Hello, is there any recomindations on how to put works picture on the form, I’ve tried ondrive and sometimes work and sometimes not worked,before I was using google drive but now it’s not work.

Am I overlooking something on making copies of folders? Is this possible? I used the closest action I knew of that may work and received this error: If not possible with OOB actions, can someone please advise on how to configure a call a web service action to make this happen?

In NAC, I know that I can run a submission rule to validate/invalidate a date field's value.  But how can I do date validation prior to submission?  Ideally right after a value is entered into the field.

Hello,the condition builder seems to display most fields as an option to define when the workflow should start.But one managed metadata field is not being displayed as an option for the condition builder.Interestingly a different managed metadata field is being displayed as an option.How does the Start Event Confition Builder differentiate which fields to display as an option?How can I make the missing field appear as an option?Thank you in advance!Best regards Niklas

I am using NAC on SharePoint O365 lists.  A SharePoint group called “Visitors” has permissions to all of my lists.  I need to remove the “Visitors” group from the item, but do not want to remove any other group or people permissions.  I see I can remove all permissions, but I only want to remove 1 group.   I can’t remove all permissions and then add some back in because this workflow is a component workflow and each list it runs on will have different groups.  Is there a way to remove permissions of 1 group without removing all permissions?Thanks!
