Nintex Workflow

Today I’m having difficulty in merging documents into one PDF. We aren’t looking to generate a document using the tagger feature. So it should essentially loop through images (.png or .jpg) or pdf files (already in pdf) and make them one combined PDF.  It’s pretty straightforward. However, I’m receiving the following error: I noticed there was an old article recommending removing special characters. Doc Generation - An error occurred downloading a file... | Community (nintex.com) I have removed special characters or ones I thought may be restricted for this action anyways which where parenthesis. “()” have been removed from all files

Hi there, I have an issue with getting updated workflow variable values to apply to different branches within a run parallel paths action. My workflow variable is set to Go, and in branch #1 later changes to Stop (labelled “a” in snips, step 51 in workflow testing) if certain conditions are met, but this updated status does not apply to temporally subsequent actions in the second branch. The workflow variable in branch #2 only has the initial Go status at the log an instance and conditional branch (labelled “b” in snips, step 63 in workflow testing). We can see that WF_Reminder_Status = Stop at 8:49 AM (step 52) and = Go at 8:50 AM (step 62) without being further updated.. As a result, Reminder emails are incorrectly being sent. I have increased the “Pause by” durations, it makes no difference. Is there any way to get the workflow variables to be updated across the workflow/get the two branches to “talk” to each other? In my tenant, we have user reported that seeing forms under My Nintex > Submit a form screen.We checked the form access level to make sure the user not part of access group.But the user still reports seeing number of forms.This is only known happy to one specific user, it doesn’t happen to other users.How can we trouble shoot the issue? Thanks.

I have a use case where we must include a QR code in receipts generated for tax payers. The app has been built in SharePoint 2019. I see NWC has a QR code generator, but (as far as I can tell), there is no way to get the QR code image or, alternatively, the generated receipt into SharePoint 2019 from NWC. I tried the below REST API but it requires the contents of the file be converted to binary I believe. Hi there,I am new to NAC and need a bit of help. I created a workflow that takes the data from one multi-text field called ‘Updates and Tracking Notes’ and moves it over to another field called ‘Total Updates and Tracking Notes” along with the name of the user(modified by) and the date and time of the entry(modified)Anyway the workflow is working, however, it is not only updating the one record in the list but ALL records in the list.  How do I isolate so that only the record that the user updated is updated and not all of the records? am i somehow creating a loop? i just dont know where and how.WF-Run If Field ‘updates and tracking notes’ is not emptySet workflow VariableBuild String

Is there a version history limit in NAC? We are missing versions on a workflow that we actually need back - version that was in production - and it stops at version 32. I logged a ticket, but stumped because nothing in limits or version history help documentation mentions anything about version history limitations. Please advise, we are in panic mode, as we cannot revert back to production version.

Hello everyone, How I can restrict the view of the forms view on Nintex mobile based on the department as an exampleHR should only view the related forms to submitand so on for the others departments.

 We’re very new to NAC and have a situation where some of our employees don’t have work email addresses and will remain unauthenticated users.When they submit an expense reimbursement claim, we need them to select an approval manager but because they are unauthenticated, they cannot select a name from the people control on the form.  I’m wondering if there is another way we can have unauthenticated employees submit a claim form and select their approval manager where it triggers a task email for a manager to approve?Thank you.

Hello, I need to create a form on Nintex for the employees to fill thiere health details then save it in sharepoint list, then generate QR code for each employee if anyone scan it the Nintex form will be appearing without any approvals just displaying the form data as a Nintex form, How can I do it.

I built some workflows in the last part of last year. Many are medium complexity. I’m looking for some guidance on how I can speed some of them up. The under performing workflows are mostly those that make numerous updates to the SharePoint online lists - status columns etc.The type of column does not seem to have any effect on the time taken, but it seems to take around 30 seconds, to a minute to make one update. The connector is using a list/library connection with a identity that has full site collection access permissions. On one particular workflow that basically sets a flag on each item in a list view (based on date constraints), takes more than two hours to run through the for-each loop. The corpus size in that instance was only about 210 items.On the previous version of Nintex for SharePoint 2016 on-premises, the same workflow would be done in around 10 minutes.Is there a method I can use to update list columns via a loop, in a more efficient way? In the message field of a Assign a Task to Multiple users action, is it possible to setup a a “reply to” address? This is possible in the standard Send an Email action but not  Assign a Task to Multiple users , that I can see.Send an Email  Assign a Task to Multiple users Changing the sender display name is possible but I don’t see reply to. Hello,Is there a way to send a task to a Shared Mailbox in NAC?  My user’s do not want individual people to receive task emails.  They want just 1 email sent to a Shared Mailbox.  When I do this, the link to the task brings up this error message.  Is there a any way around this?  

In NAC, is it possible to assign a task without sending out an email?  I think the functionality to control a task email was available in On-Prem, and not available in O365.  Looking at the NAC task configuration, I don’t see a way to disable the email, but I just wanted to double check . 

As I understand, NAC is not programmed to accept additional valid phrases that map to "Approve" outcome in flexi task express approval (similar to Nintex 2013 and O365). I suppose you could create a custom outcome for each common response (e.g. Approved, ok, yes, etc), but that would significantly expand our 9 branch state machine workflow. Are there other options or is valid phrases on the roadmap for NAC?

Hello,I am working on a Nintex 2013 Workflow that I need to migrate to Nintex Cloud environment.  The current 2013 start form allows you to create SharePoint fields and assign right to the start form.  In Nintex cloud start form how do you allow the start form fields to connect to SharePoint fields/people picker fields?Thanks N Advance for any help

I have a ~20 page document that has variable content that I’m pulling from SQL server to populate data points throughout the document. I would like to use NAC to allow the user to select a location and then have it auto-populate all the dynamic content (this is all doable). The problem I’m running into is trying to set the document for printing. By default, even if you add pages to an NAC form, it just puts page breaks wherever they are needed rather than allowing me to define where I want those page breaks. I tried creating custom CSS using “page-break-after: always;” but calling the style does not accomplish the goal. I also tried putting the style directly into the HTML but it strips it out whenever I click off the HTML form and it goes back to the WYSIWIG so it does not stay.  I checked out the CSS Guidelines and I don’t see a way to do what I’m trying to do. Also, all the other posts out there don’t apply to NAC so I won’t bother posting them

Using Nintex Automation Cloud for Document Generation we would like to add some links to the generated document.  This works fine with two defects.  First we can only show the URL rather than friendly text in the final PDF.  Second and more significantly if the URL is longer than one line the link fails because it stops at the line break.
