Nintex Automation K2

Hello, I was just going into one of the forms we made recently to edit a rule, only to notice that we cannot. We can open the edit dialog but not change anything in it, nor can we remove that particular rule. Why are some rules locked from removal?  Thanks for your help,Nico

Just got a K2 VM with Windows 2016 DataCenter Evaluation. After mounting, the Vm has been seemingly shutting down itself every 1 hour. I checked the PC property, and discovered that the Windows server was not activated. Please what is the way out, as I have been trying to familiarize with the new k2 five, but Vm keeps shutting down every 1 hour. Regards all,

We have 2 lists.when ever an item is added in list 1 it should create in list 2.we have created a workflow on list 1 when item.is added and added create list item activity and mapped all columns of list 1 and mapped to target list 2 columns.In list 2 some of the columns are not getting created.It works in few list and some it doesnt.This is using k2 five for sharepoint

Hi all, i am currently using k2 Five for sharepoint...i am facing issue while using contains inline function in workflow.My Scenario: i need to check user in the group of users and have to concat with data field.while doing so its returning as system.object[], so it always getting into false loop when using CONTAINS inline function. Components used in Workflow :1.Create Refernece 1 : To get group of users from list A.2.Create Refernece 2 : To get single user from list B.3.Loop : using Reference 1.4.Decision with Contain(Reference 1 Item contains Reference 2 Item) operation.(Fails Here)5.If Above decision is true then concat the user name in data field and so on.

Team, In K2 5.0 I am trying to deploy a workflow.  Workflow process: Create reference using filter am taking one column value Example: Status column value should be draft. All the draft items from that list i have query passing it in to loop and send those items in email to particular group.  When i create reference and trying to deploy got the below error. Could you pleae assist me on it.  Error Description:Missing reference at SmartObjectfield. Error: The value cannot be more than 128 characters in length.  Stack Location: K2 Process Application Name>:Stack End.

How do you copy activities from one event to the other or at least how do you save reusable activities?

hi all,  im looking to count how many items in a list have a specific value, and need to employ a "List Count(if state = submitted)" expression; however i am unable to achieve this currently (still learning k2 five). is this possible within the expression builder? and if so how?.  cheers 

In the new K2 Five context browser, there seems to be a lot less workflow / task related information, in my old workflow I had to compose the serial no in the escalation (now called reminders) emails by using the Process Instance ID and Activity Destination Instance ID so that even in the reminder emails, user can go directly to the task. How would I go about doing that in the new K2 Five context browser?  Thanks in advance

Since K2 Black Pearl Support 4.6.11 is gone.. and is mandatory to be in K2 4.7.... and with the recent release of K2 Five.... sound like a good idea to upgrade from K2 4.6.11 to k2 Five. wich is our case. To our bad luck there is no way to allow and upgraded K2 4.7 -> K2 Five still allow deployment from K2 4.6.11... why is not backwards compatible, with the understanding is only going to allow to deploy as upgrade previous K2 4.7... but for future deployment will export and leave as K2 Five only. There is way to much risk on breaking things just to trust the upgrade. I don't like it, and I don't like the fact to have to re-work all the created Forms, because our software company decided to upgrade and not provide backwards compatibility for slow migration... not everybody will have only 1 or 2 forms there will be many and with that said, many pieces where something could go wrong. In my opinion. the way this upgrade should work with an upgrade server is to allow a server 4.7 upgrade

I guess I'm to conservative or learn enough trough the years, like BP said "this is not my first rodeo". and I really like to see an organized way to perform an upgrade.

Hi, I'm experimenting with K2 Five, and I have built a few test forms based on tutorials and with one exception everything is running pretty smoothly. The exception is, whenever I use associations with smart objects, the list views (which were auto generated by K2) load very slowly; like 60+ seconds to load a simple list of 5 records. (sometimes my browser even prompts me "This is taking a long time, do you want to wait or stop, ..."). There is nothing advanced in these test forms, and there is not even a lot of data (5-10 test records for each smart object and only about 5 properties for each smart object), but the slow load behavior is consistently slow whenever the smart objects use associations, and consistently fast when the smart objects do not use associations. Can anyone point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this? Thank you!

Is Visual Studio (VS) the supported solution for debugging K2 Five workflows created in the K2 Five Designer? I've read how VS2013 and VS2015 can be used in K2 Five on Legacy workflows, and how new K2 Five workflows must be created in the new HTML5 Designer.  But, this K2 Five article references the use of VS for debugging workflows.  Is this valid even when the workflow is created as a new K2 Five workflow using the K2 Five Designer? https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2five/DevRef/5.0/default.htm#Concepts/General-Debug.html

i want to create a dynamic branch based on datafield that call sub workflow. each of the path will work parallel. is there any way to do that or should i define all of the path first?i've been stumped for days

I have 4 different forms that a user needs to filled in before it can be submited in a workflow. I would like validate all 4 forms before submitting. The problem is the user can submit from either form 1,2,3 or 4. So I'm looking for a methodology to best check all four forms before allowing the user to submit. thanks

Hi all, Is there a way to add data level security in K2 Five?  We are working on a Provider Contract process and we need to limit providers depending on users country. In previous versions, workspace had an option to define Data Level Security on SmartBox SMO's with associations, now it seems that is not possible. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Hi,I just want to validate my user name and password using Data Label expressions. The question is how can i trigger this data label when we click on login button? 

In K2 Designer (K2 Five) how do I add a simple block of custom text to the layout? I have built a form but need a place to add a couple paragraphs of html text in with the controls. In the view designer, I tried adding a "label" from the toolbox, and that works great if I only need to add a couple words, but it is not sufficient for html text; I can't type directly into the cell, and I do not see any other tools that will allow me to do this. Any ideas?
