Hello,I have a simple Nintex workflow with "Assign Flexi Task" action in SharePoint 2010. Firstly, the Assignee's (User A and User B) are having Contribute permissions at site level and item level (approval history)."Assign Flexi Task" - Configure Action"Create individual tasks for all group members" is checkedBehavior: "First reponse applies"TaskName: Workflow TaskTask Content Type: Nintex Workflow Multi outcome task using Nintex FormsForm Type: Nintex FormStore TaskID's: TaskID (Variable of type: ListItemID)When a user 'A' approves the task, only user 'A' has the ability to view the Approval comments/Workflow task. When User 'B' tries to view the approved comments/workflow task, user gets the following message ' You are not authorized to respond to this task' and vice-versa.If I assign the users full control at the list/Item level (workflow history), then they have no issue viewing the task that was approved by the other user. But I do not want to assign Full control.I have referred
Hello, Â I am newer to Nintex and this is my first time posting. I have been creating simple Nintex forms and workflows for the last 9 months. Yesterday in SharePoint Online I created a list with several types of columns, then created a form to go with that list, and then a workflow. When I went to test it all I could not submit the form. I was not exactly getting an "error" message, but a message titled "Unable to save" and in the box "Invalid request". I kept eliminating different elements trying to trouble shoot and nothing seemed to fix the issue. So today I created a simple list with 8 columns (3 text, 3 choice, 1 date, 1 people picker). Nothing about the columns is extra, the form does not have any rules, etc. Basically, it is as simple as can be and I am still getting the "Unable to save" message when clicking submit. (FYI the information entered in the form is saving to the list each time I click submit.) Anyone have any clue what could be causing this? Any help is greatly appr
I have two lists connected with lookup columns. In the past I was able to customize Nintex form by editing page and inserting 'related items' web part. Currently I am not seeing edit page option any more on the sharepoint page that contains Nintex form. Â
HI, Â I have Lookup formula in my form. It is working fine however the Output has the ID;# Column Value (Image Attached) This is the formula that i have used. lookup("Contract Type","ID",TypeofAgreement,"Contract") Â How can i get rid of the prefix text the "ID;#" Â Thank you in advance Venkat
Hi,  Quick summary of my setup: I have a list that uses a nintex workfow to create a folder in a separate document library every time a new item in that list is created. The folder name will be the list ID.  Issue: However now I am trying to create a default value in one of the columns in the document library. I have been doing it manually in the "Column Default Values Settings" in the library settings.  I would like to create a workflow that automatically does this. Let me know if there are any questions. Thanks in advance for all the help.  A Â
I am trying to use the "Other value..." option with a Change State action. It fails because it tries to change the state to the name of the variable instead of the value. I can't find any reference to how to use that option. Can anyone shed some light on what this option does and how to use it? Running Nintex 2013.  Thank you in advance Ed
My Google-Fu has left me so I hope someone here might be able to help: I am currently in the process of creating a multi step form (SharePoint / Nintex Forms 2013). In this form users are making different choices - among those is one where they can select applications (Office, Visio, Notepad++,...) from within a Managed Metadata column. At the end of this form I want to show the user an overview of their selections. I can use a Calculated Column for all sorts of columns I use (Text, Choice,...) but not for the Managed Metadata field - It just isn't being listed. I could use a different control (e.g. Choice) - however the amount of software available would be too big for it to be usable (200+).My question: How can I display the selections I made in a managed metadata column/field in the very same form again? Thanks 🙂
We are planning to patch the SharePoint 2013 farm and it was last patched on 2018 only. Also have Nintex installed in the SharePoint . Â If we patch SharePoint 2013, will it affect Nintex farm also or do we need to patch Nintex also? Â Â
Hello,  I am trying to restrict view to my list and only allow specific members to see specific items when a condition is met.  Certain users should only be able to view those items in the list that match a condition:  Let's say I add new item and set location as KSA - only a specific member of my team should see those under KSA, and another can only see those in Lebanon. Applying different views won't work as they are not allowed to be able to see any of the other items except for those in their region.  Is there a way I can apply a workflow to achieve this?  Thank you Â
I have a SharePoint list that we added Nintex forms onto. Prior to Nintex being applied, we had a native SharePoint email alerts set up to give us a weekly update of all changes made to this list. It worked great. After applying Nintex to the list, the formatting of the email alert has looked very strange (attachment shows the columns width suddenly shrunk and shifted). I have tried to delete the entire alert and start a new one, that didn’t work. I also have other lists with Nintex that has allowed me to still use the native SharePoint alerts without any issue. Any suggestions?
Hello Community, I am working with Nintex Forms 2013 version 2.11.8.0 in SharePoint 2013 and I am using a SQL Request control to access data from an external database. The database table holds tens of thousands of records and even with one filter, five thousand or more records could be returned on a lookup. My question is this - what's the best way to reduce the number of records returned and make the look up list manageable? Some more specific questions include: - Can I implement an auto-complete capability in the List Lookup or SQL Request control? - If I can implement an auto-complete capability how would I do that (please provide specific guidance)? - Can I implement a cascading filter in the Lookup or SQL Request control? - If I can implement an cascading filter capability how would I do that (please provide specific guidance)? - If neither one of these approaches is possible what is the right approach? Thanks! Tom
Hi! I have a document library that consists of multiple document sets. What I'm looking to do is to query the whole library, filter out the documents that don't belong to a certain document set (this part is easy, I'm using the date field in the document set!) and then based on a column called 'Audience' (With 2 choices, A and B) I'm looking to filter only those that belong to "A" and copy them to a network location. My guess is that I have to query the list in some way, but I'm unable to get multiple documents added to a variable that then copies all relevant documents to the network location. Any assistance on this would be great! Thank you!
Hello,  I'd like to create a radio button in Nintex Forms 2013 Standard. It should be connected to a textbox. If I click on the top arrow the value in the textbox should be increased by one and so on. I'm not sure if the expression "radio button" is correct, so I attach a picture of the object I want to work with.  Thanks   panc
There are cases when organizations have firewalls and proxy rules implemented to secure their network, and when they try to use Document Generation or Nintex Sign actions within their workflow, it fails to communicate to these two services and workflow fails.  If you want to use any of the two service, you need to allow following URLs: 1) https://live.nintex.com - Required to perform Nintex license authentication and authorization for access to Nintex External Platform services. 2) https://prdswastrwus01.blob.core.windows.net - Required to upload documents and additional data which are required by Nintex External Platform Services to Azure Blob Storage 3) https://run.nintex.io - Required for outbound requests to utilize Nintex External Platform Services such as Document Generation and Nintex Sign. 4) https://prdswasbuwus01.servicebus.windows.net - Required for inbound requests to resume Document Generation and Nintex Sign related actions using Azure Service Bus
Morning  I have a list of users with different dates that they began employment. I've written flow which stores the date they began employment, then has some Calculate actions which adds days/months so that a set of actions will fire if todays date is the start date plus the added time. Fine it works.  So now I need to set it up as a scheduled flow so that it'll loop through the list every day and trigger actions if a 1 month, 3 month, or 6 month date range is hit. I know I need to use a For Each action and a Collection Operation but I'm struggling to work out how to configure it. Any guidance gratefully accepted. Here's how I've configured the 1 month Collection Operation but I'm really working in dark.
Today I faced an issue while trying to publish a Nintex Form. Error gave a hint about minor-versioned list. To verify this, I navigated to the Forms Library (site/NintexForms/Forms/AllItems.aspx) and I was surprised that the library is missing. What can causing such issue? I did not found the library in the paper bin. Would reactivating the Nintex Forms Feature for this site collection brings the library back? Hopefully also all the forms, too? Â This is about SharePoint 2013 On- Premise Â
Hoping you can help!  I have a calculated field where I want to show the number of days between 2 dates. Pretty simple. However, if there is no date in either of the fields, it shows a "#NUM!" error. I figured that out:  =IF(OR(ISBLANK(DiscoveryDate),ISBLANK(ReportedDate)),"",DATEDIF(DiscoveryDate,ReportedDate,"D"))  Now my problem is if the difference is a negative number, it shows the same #NUM! error. How can I work that in to show a "-#" days? Â
Hi, I have configured a Nintex workflow with a Nintex Form & several Workflow Task forms. For add/modify/view, Nintex form is using an API to query a remote DB and Task form just use SP query. The problem is when i tried to open the tasks forms or the Nintex form, the form doesn't open and remains in the loading screen. This happens in all the browsers. But sometimes it works in some and others don't. We tried to open the tasks from a rollup webpart as well as directly from Workflow tasks. The issue is same. When checking the developer tools, the code is not executed completely as shown in the below screenshot, Also the console show errors like "NWF$ is not defined", please refer the below screenshot, Â Kindly provide solution for this issue asap, will be much appreciated Â
Hello Community,  I am working in SharePoint 2013 and I am trying to configure the SQL Request control. A little background about what I have done so far:  - Created a table with a column called "IBU_Descr" and populated column with data - Created a form field "Item ID", Single Line Textbox - Created a form field "IBU Number Test", SQL Request  Next, I configured the IBU Number Test field as shown below:   Finally, I have tested the query using the SQL Request control's built in test function and it works, returning the expected fields. So the problem is this, once I save, publish and run the form, the Item ID field (Single Line Textbox) is not populated with the query results of the IBU Number Test (SQL Request).   Has anyone else seen this problem? Do you know how to fix it? If so, please provide guidance and examples.  Thanks!  Tom   Â
I have a classic form that has 39 choice fields called roadmap elements - each selection shows a panel. ie. 1.0 Project Details shows Panel 1.0 Project Details  the rule used to show/hide not(inArray(Roadmap Element 2,"12.2 Project-Specific Progress Reporting Plan")) the rules work for all - except when you get to the last 3 selections in the list - when select they do not show on the form. No errors the panel just doesn't show.  The form itself has 76 rules so I don't believe im over the rule count.  Do any one have any idea why this happens? is there a better way to show/hide because that all my rules on my form is just show/hides
I have three fields: BusUnit, SLType and SLNo I need to write code or rule that will check the first character of "BusUnit" and if it is a Letter then it makes the "SLType" and "SLNo" fields mandatory.  Is this possible?
I have a list of Computers that we are being billed for. I have a Nintex form that I have a repeated section that will display all the computers assigned to a particular person (Display Name). On the form, it calculates the Display Name. I attempted to create rules that would populate the computer Make/Model, Serial Number and questions to verify computer info is accurate  The List  The properties of the calculated field that shows current user:  I created the following rule on the Make/Model field  When I attempt to preview the form the value above does not display - instead I get a #Value error. What am I doing wrong? Â
Hi everybody, there's been a few days that any of my workflows doesn't start, neither automatically nor manually. I can't even create a New Workflow or open Nintex Workflow Manager from the list settings. The error is: Sorry, something went wrong, as you expect! Hello, I want to book hours in a Sharepoint list for tasks. Behind the hours is an hourly rate. So I can calculate the costs of each task. This hourly rate may be changed in the future. My question: I book 10 hours today for 'task a'. The hourly rate for the employee is 50 $ per hours. So task a costs 500 $. Tomorrow the hourly rate will be changed to 60 $. The costs of 'task a' in my SharePoint list must be still 500 $. If I book 10 hours for 'task b' tomorrow, then I get 600 $ costs for this task. My idea: 'list one' for the tasks, 'list two' for the hourly rates. Every time I create a new task in 'list one' a workflow copies the actual hourly rate value from 'list two' to a field in 'list one'. Can this be realized with Nintex Workflow? If so, can you give me some hints how this can be done? Thanks a lot. Â panc
Hello, I am using the inline function "fn-GetQueryString(TxtField)" as default value to a Txtfield not connected to any column.  so my query stirng url is /DispForm.aspx?ID=1&TxtField=1 and it sets TxtField=1 only to an existing element after publishing the form. However, the TxtField=1 are never set on newly added element in the list. Using Chrome Version 86.0.4240.75  Any idea or Javascript suggestion?
