 Symptoms We are missing many of our smart objects after deploying to production. Our production system is disabled due to the issue. Diagnoses The issue was caused by inconsistence of SQL database artifacts between environments. Resolution When expanding some SmartObjects in SmartObject Service Tester tool, we noticed red X signs on some of the SmartObjects. After comparing the properties of the Service Object, we noticed that some of the property names are not identical, lower case versus upper case.To get the workflow working without the error “Item not found in this collection”, we decided to recreate these SmartObjects with same GUID option.You will check and make sure that all SQL artifacts between environments are identical to prevent this issue in the future.

When doing a userProfileLookup, it returns the user's phone number as 618XXXXXXX. How is it then, that the function below replaces "618" with "+(08)"? Why is it adding a + symbol?replace(userProfileLookup(RequestingOfficer, "WorkPhone"), "618", "(08) ")

Hello,  We are currently investigating to which extent Nintex doc gen is capable of replicating functionality that is provided by Muhimbi.... we have a very specific requirement which is: When a new item is created in a SharePoint Online list (including attachment), we want to add the list item data into the attachment.    With Muhimbi we were able to do this in 2 steps: 1. Create a separate PDF with the list item data 2. Merge this PDF with the list item attachment   Is there a similar functionality available with Nintex?  A nintex solution would be preferrable for us if it is able to do the same...    Thanks in advance! :)

I have a multitude of calculated fields. I would like to hide each if their respective value is 0 or null/empty. Instead of creating twelve rules for all 12 of them, I'd like to create one rule for all of them instead. Something like:   "or( [THIS] == 0,IsNullorEmpty([THIS]))" then Hide.   However, I can't find any way to reference the field's value using a keyword such as "This" or the old {Self} from previous Nintex versions. Any ideas how I can do this?   EDIT: I have tried using {self} in the one-rule-to-rule-them-all, but it doesn't work. They all remain hidden regardless.

I'm in the middle of creating a document review & approval workflow and I'm looking for some help.   An overview of the workflow is as follows: - User submits a document for review - Review team (3 people) select either 'Reject', 'Approve' or 'Changes Required' & provide comments - If the decision is not unanimous, the review team moderator will have the final decision under 'Other' - They will then either select 'Reject', 'Approve' or 'Changes Required' - The user will then be notified of the changes required, based upon the review comments   It's the next stage which I'm looking for help with (circled on the screenshot attached).   I'm unsure as to how the user can then make the changes to the document & resubmit, without having to create a new approval request.   Any help would be appreciated.    

Good afternoon,   So about a month ago, one of the workflows stopped working on our site. I have been through countless troubleshooting steps and I still can't get it to automatically run like it used to, I can't even manually start it. It is a simple workflow, only two steps on it. We have a larger, more extensive workflow on a separate list that errors because it references the simple workflow on this list. The simple workflow is called Today's Date and it is supposed to run automatically every 24 hours. The workflow hasn't been edited since last year, so I am thinking it is some kind of external, server, or .NET thing? I don't know, I am still pretty new to this.   Around the same time I began getting reports of this happeneing, we cleaned up our permissions list.    We stopped inheriting permissions on the extensive workflow we have but the simple two step workflow is still inheriting permissions from the Parent site. I was wondering if this kinda "broke" the connnection of these t

 Hi all, Lately, whenever someone runs a workflow (eg. travel request, leave request..etc) they get a message saying workflow was canceled by System account. After some dig up I have seen that database is not connected, in event viewer it says : cannot open database "WSS_Content"requested by login. Any idea how to fix this? This all happened suddenly without any chnages made to settings or workflow.

Nintex workflow failed to send a approval confirmation email to actioner, what could be the error? It has been happening for all the workflows.

I have two list List A is Business Unit with column as Business Unit, Contact(People picker, Multiple),Manager(People picker, Multiple). Another List name is RIM with column as Business Unit(Look Up from List A) Contact(People picker, Multiple),Manager(People picker, Multiple) and many more. Now i want whenever List A Business Unit with field Contact(People picker, Multiple),Manager(People picker, Multiple) changes it should replicate the changes associated to that perticular business unit in RIM for the current item and also to taht item that has been already created.

Hi all, hope you're doing well.   I saw an application made in InfoPath where the creator managed to connect two cascading dropdown to interact together in a form for a SP list. So, for example, if a user selected in dropdown 1 value "X", the second dropdown would be also setted to "X", and it worked in both ways. This funcionality would be usefull in the application I'm working on a Nintex form.   So, i was wondering, is there a way to reply the same effect in a Nintex form? I searched online but couldn't find a similar situation, maybe i tried looking for it in a wrong way.   Thank you in adavance!      

I have a workflow that I created to track changes to specific fields in a list(s). I use "hidden" or "old" fields to store the values of the fields before the changes were made and then update them after the workflow has run. The workflow is working perfectly except for one issue... If a user updates a field on an item that is not being tracked, the workflow will run and send out a blank and useless notification. To get around this, I've chosen to start the workflow conditionally so that it only runs when the tracked fields have changed (if previous value does not equal current value then start). This is also working as intended and the workflow is running to completion and logging the correct information in the history list along the way however, the notifications to the required parties do not go out. If I remove the conditions, the notifications send as intended. I'm sure there is an explanation/workaround for this but I cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hi Guys, I have the challenge to prepopulate a repeating section.The purpose of my repeating section is a Task list.I have a second list where the Default responsibility of a Task is defined.It would be perfect if I could prepopulate this list with some JavaScript or something else.I also Need the possibility to add more rows or change the repsonsible Person of the task.Do you have any suggestions to do this?

Hi Team,   I have 2 panels in the form and based on drop down selection i am showing and hiding the panels. Drpo down values : Host Based                                 Control Based In one panel i have a  single line of text controller inside the repeater. i want this single line of text inside the repeater to be mandatory only on host based selection in drop down.    I tried adding the rule but it is not working, Please help me in achieving this.   Thanks in advance, Hema

I'm trying to get the ID of an item and make it a three digit number string.   I have tried multiple solutions. My most recent is this inside setting a variable fn-Substring(fn-PadLeft(2,{WorkflowVariable:Oid},00),fn-Length(fn-PadLeft(2,{WorkflowVariable:Oid},00))-3,3)   If Oid = 11 I would expect the result to be 011 The log says Oid: 11 and varOrderID: I have also tried using a calculated field on the list that has a 3 digit number like I want and use the Query a List action to retrieve the calculated field but that also returns with no result.

Hello Everyone,      I am new to Nintex permission side, I am sorry if question is too dump.I have nintex workflow 2013 running on list when Item is getting edited. In workflow I am changing the permission of person who created it to 'Read Permission'.When the user who created item, tries to 'VIEW ITEM' he is getting error 'Sorry, you don't have access to this page' and if same user is trying to edit same item, he is able to open item make changes and save it successfully.It is really weird the same item to the same user is able to open in edit view but not in view item view. I really appreciate if someone guide me or give me some tips.Thank you.

I have a customer that wants to calculate specific dates ever year for reviewing items in a list (uses flex task too).   So an item that's been reviewed on 1/31/19 should roll to the next review on 4/30/19.  The 4/30/19 should roll to 7/31/19.  And 7/31/19 should roll to 10/31/19.  Then, starting over, the 10/31/19 should roll to 1/31/20.  You get the idea. I calculated in Excel the datedif between these dates.  See image below: There should be 92 days between 10/31 and 1/31.  This shouldn't change from year to year (unless I live on another planet). However when I put the Calculate Date in as below (10/31/2019) is sitting in the Next Review Date field it only adds 89 to the Next Review Date and calculates 1/28/2020.  That's three days less than what I put into the formula below. I've tried all sorts of stuff to make the date come out correctly.   I've put in 95 days but it still calculates wrong.  I've tried 3 months.  Still calculates wrong. Does anyone have any ideas why this migh

Hi All, I am getting an issue with Flexi Task.I have selected all must approve for this Flexi Task which is being assigned to a Team. I expected it to go to rejected if any one of the approvers approve. But currently if one Approver approves and other rejects it, the workflow is getting stuck and not moving further. Is there anything which I am doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated.
