Skuid NLX, SFX, & EXP

I’ve just upgraded an org to 7.20, and in a number of pages, the page editor is not displaying field names correctly. For examole, I have tables whose columns appear as “Unknown field”; when clicked, its looking at the right field, and it even works correctly when using the page, but it makes editing a page more difficult. I can’t see anything untoward in the XML view, and its not just tables - I’ve seen it in a field editor in a pop up as well. I’ve just had an idea that it may have something to do with rendering options, but I’ll need to wait until I’m back at my laptop to check…

I have a rich text field called ‘Executive Summary’ which is used in a popup, and gives users a really pleasant experience when typing data into this field. I’m just testing this functionality in Banzai before upgrading, and it seems that the behaviour of the rich text field / CKEditor has changed. This is not a “I’m getting a heap size error, help!” post - I know about this issue, but I’m trying to get an deeper understanding of the causes.I have a page that can end up showing a lot of rows in a table after a button is pressed and a model gets queried. There aren’t any body fields returned in the model, it’s about 30 fields that are dates, strings, etc.I’ve reached a point with the page where I’m getting Apex heap issues. I’ve been able to handle these in the past with a few tricks - but I’m all out of tricks.I’m a bit confused because, if I take the SOQL query as per the model in the debug log, plug it in to the developer console and check the heap size there, the heap size is about 1MB. What happens on the server that causes an increase in size by such an amount? I’m not questioning the Skuid’s technical capability - far from it, I’m sure there are reasons for it. But I am curious as to why this happens. I’ve had similar things happen in the past where literally including one

I’m having an issue displaying content documents in a table. There are many content objects. I tried Content Documents which got me just about everything I need except that it doesn’t have a Parent Id. I then tried AttachedContentDocument and I get the following Error if I try to put it in a model: “1. An error occurred while attempting to perform the following SOQL query: SELECT LastModifiedDate,ContentSize,ContentUrl,ContentDocumentId,ContentDocument.Title,CreatedDate,CreatedById,CreatedBy.Name,FileExtension,FileType,LastModifiedById,LastModifiedBy.Name,LinkedEntityId,Title,Id FROM AttachedContentDocument LIMIT 21 Error:entity type AttachedContentDocument does not support query” I then made a table out of the parent object “Patient” and it lists the attached content documents in the table, but I can’t link to the actual file. I see a tutorial on how to upload files to Chatter/Content and that seems to work well, but I can’t get linked content documents to display in a table with live

I have an org with a number of pages that are in a particular model. I select to filter on that module, and not all pages are shown.I’ve checked that the page type and created/modified filters are clear. I have 31 pages in the module - this is confirmed in a report. On the “Pages” Skuid page, when I select the module, I’m shown the first 25, when I click Load More, I only ever get as high as 29. I’ve actually seen the number fluctuate slightly, though I’m not sure as to why.

Using in-line Javascript, a field in one of my models is returning a “Date” type field from Salesforce using getField on the model. When I display the field using an Alert, Javascript tells me its an object Object. On the Skuid page, the field is rendered at a datepicker.  I want to use the date field in a calculation against the current date using javascript in order to perform some actions.  I don’t want to display the date in the Skuid page. Problem is, how do I get the date out of the date object using Javascript?  I’ve tried many ways, including skuid.time.parseSFDate and nothing is working.

Last week, I added two new values to a multipicklist in SFDC (overwhelmed and shocked). Here is the list: However, in runtime today the field looks like this: The new values are not there. I haven’t overridden the metadata or done any customization beyond giving the field a custom label. I tried removing the field from the field editor and adding it back. I tried refreshing the models metadata in the builder. Nothing. Help?

Is it the case that Lightning Experience must be enabled to install Banzai? If so, we have a problem in one of our orgs and I suspect you will run into this for the Push as well.We are getting the below error in our Developer org when trying any of the Banzai packages. At first glance this looked like it might be related to Lightning which we had not enabled. Tier 3 support just phoned and let us know that since we had enabled Person Accounts in that org years ago, we cannot add Lightning Experience. So does this mean we cannot use Banzai either? This is our Packaging org so would be moderately unfortunate.Thrown: common.exception.SalesforceGenericException: org.auraframework.throwable.quickfix.DefinitionNotFoundException: No THEME named markup://one:oneTheme found : [markup://packaging:ipLanding, css://packaging.ipLanding, markup://packaging:packagingTheme]I granted Login access to org 00DE0000000dq2O if anyone from Skuid wants to sniff around.

We had a script written to update the URL of the page to the TabID so that when the user hit refresh it would reload the page.   With the introduction of the actions now on the TabSet, this has failed so we are trying to rework this code into the new Actions screen.My question…  How do I obtain the TabID so that I can update the HREF with the bookmark when calling a snippet from the Whenever Shown action?This is the call that we used to have working, when we registered the tab click event. window.history.replaceState(null, “Offender Profile”, “Offender_Template?id=” + id + “#” +tabId )  Thanks you in advance

Several users are not able to load a certain page include in IE or Firefox. I tested in IE11 and confirmed that the include returns this console error: Works fine in Chrome. Date field using custom field renderer snippet has stopped working. It used to work fine before. So I’m trying to create a custom header that looks really nice, suddenly I look up and see a great looking header! Would you guys be able to share the configuration for the skuid header?? I have been messing around with various combinations and it would be nice if you guys could share how you built your own header. Right now I have Header -> Responsive Grid -> Navigation, but I could use a cleaner setup. Thanks.

I built custom buttons on many Salesforce pages to view the skuid page version of those pages. Where are those buttons in the new “Lightning Experience”? Any idea? 

Hello friends. I’m trying to add analytics tracking to my skuidified force.com site, but without success. Followed the instructions here: https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewHelpDoc?id=sites_analytics_tracking_code.htm&language=en_US All my sites VF pages now have bothsite:googleAnalyticsTracking/ and <skuid:page …> Google can’t find my pages. Any chance skuid doesn’t play nice with the site:googleAnalyticsTracking/ tag?

I am trying to create a POST redirect Mass Action button for a list. When I select records in my Skuid page and click the redirect mass action I created I get an error message “You must select at least one ‘In Progress’ document”. I have double checked and the records I am choosing are ‘In Progress’.Maybe I am missing something that I need to update in the URL. Hi using this skuid.$M(‘model’).data[0].ui_richtext  always returns undefined. Other types of UI only fields work fine using this syntax. Any pointers?

A have a date field I convert to a string text field I and then converting to a datetime field. The {varTemp_Date_Time_End_No_Time} is 2015-10-28 DATETIMEVALUE (Text(YEAR( {!varTemp_Date_Time_End_No_Time} )) & “-” & Text(MONTH( {!varTemp_Date_Time_End_No_Time} )) & “-” & Text(DAY( {!varTemp_Date_Time_End_No_Time} )) & " 23:59:59") In the output datetime field in skuid shows as 10/28/2015 7:59 PM. I thought it would show as 10/28/2015 12:59 PM Does this have something to do with time zones or my formating? Any ideas?

Figured out how to call a js (inline) snippet from HTML in a template component: <script> var loadMoreFunc = skuid.snippet.getSnippet('loadMore'); </script> <center><a href="javascript:loadMoreFunc();">Load More...</a></center> My question is whether or not there is a more straight-forward way to do this? This just seems unnecessary. Any help is appreciated.

When I try and put more than 1 chart on a mobile page, only the last chart shows up.Any idea what might be causing this?  The mobile page worked fine in Superbank, broke on Banzai

I want to create/update an EventRelation  record related to an Event record,In salesforce I could create an Event with multiple contacts or only one Lead (limitation);If I want to update/change WhoId Lead Contact and save I mark rows for deletion and save, and this it will not work and I get Error : EventRelation can’t be created for a Event that already has a leadOR if I change Contacts to LeadError:  EventRelation of a lead can’t be created for a Event that has already had EventRelation of contacts or accounts, opportunities, custom objects, and other entities.How can I handle this situation? Please help.

While loading a skuidpage in a console app, one skuid page periodically doesn’t load because of the following error in static resource skuidjs line 30: Uncaught TypeError: sforce.console.isInConsole is not a function I think this may be an issue due to a problem with salesforce not always having a value for isInConsole, but this is blocking us from releasing the console app to our production users. If skuid js handled the case where sforce.console isn’t null, but sforce.console.isInConsole is, I think the page would still load. I would try changing this file myself but I don’t know of any way to change a static resource from a managed package.

I want to create a template field the sums the values of a child relationship field for each record of the parent. Example: -Parent has three children -the child object has a field named “widgets” -each child record has the number of widgets that child made in the widgets field I want to sum up all the widgets created by all the children BUT ONLY FOR A CERTAIN DATE RANGE (Last Month) based on the created date of the child record Is this possible with either template field or UI Only fields? Thanks!

I have a textarea that shows as a texteare in the “Fields List” as in fact a Rich Text Area 5000 characters long. When I drag onto the page it shows as a Text field and behave like a 1 line text field. There are no options to state how many rows to display.
