When trying to add a new row to a model I get a missing Parent ID error. Other rows in the model are rendering correctly because of a filter on the parentID

Right now when we first come to the page, the middle of a Donut chart seems to automatically display the biggest piece of the chart. Can we change this to display data from a specific piece, not necessarily the biggest?

I have a Parent object with its own model and a child object that has 20 models. The child object models all have different filters so they have different default values. However, I have a few triggers running on this child object. The issue is that when my save button attempts to save all the models on my skuid page, it attempts to save each model one at a time. This is a problem because there are queries in my child object trigger that get called excessively. Ideally, this should be saving all models of the same object type at the same time. Am I reading this situation correctly, is this how skuid actually saves models? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve created several custom components for our org that are basically arrangements of skuid components that we’d like to be able to use again and again.We can’t use page includes (see Barry’s idea) because the components need to reference different models, or models with different conditions, depending on the situation.However, if I package components up using a custom component, there is no way for us to modify the standard skuid components within that custom component in the builder, without a bunch of custom properties that would change the layout on runtime (almost re-creating the skuid builder). What would be ideal is some kind of library of “component sets”, that we could drag onto a page, that would still allow us to use the skuid builder to modify components within the set.On the other hand, if I define a skuid component via XML inside a custom component, is there a way to tell the builder that it is a skuid component? Hey guys!I have a row action that opens a drawer with a page include. I am trying to get the details of a custom object to open into that drawer, but having issues how to pass the id of the row object to the detail page.

I am using conditional rendering in the mobile app to dynamically build out a form based on the picklist value selected.  I have the conditional rendering added to the “Division” so all fields withing the division appear together.  When I use the picklist to select the value the conditional rendering works correctly BUT it squishes the division and all the fields into 10% of the screen.  The same behavior can be seen if you Preview the page in a web browser.  In a web browser, however, you can resize the browser and the division will snap back to take up the whole screen.  On the phone though there is no way to resize the screen.I did just discover if select the value in the picklist and it renders incorrectly I can switch it to a non-rendering value and then change it back and then the whole division renders in the full screen.  But I can’t tell my end users that.  Please let me know if there is a known fix. As always, I appreciate the help and the awesome product.Thanks!Rich

Hello, I’m trying to present the formula field on skuid table that is in text form and shows images based on different criteria of another field. On SF it is working correctly. However, on Skuid it only shows alternative text and icon of the picture. I also used template and “allow html” but it didn’t help. Should I use another approach for such situation?Thank you

I have an aggregate table on the Opportunity object that groups opportunities by sales reps (custom obj) and sums the Amounts of their opportunities. I then have a drawer to show each opportunity and some details about each. On the main table I also have a filter to show totals based on the opportunities Stage. So (Example) we see on the main table Brad Jones (sales rep) has $100,000 in opportunities accross all stages but if we filter the stage to only show Closed Won we see he only has $25,000 in “Closed Won” opportunities. What I want is to, at this point, open the drawer and it show only the opportunities that are “Closed Won”. How do I accomplish this?

If i wanted to save the list view for My opportunities like we can have in the salesforce OOB, Can we do that with SKUID ? Or there is any work around for it ?

I’ve built my first aggregate model to deal with charting tons of records. I have a custom object that has commission payments by month, so my model is just a sum of payments grouped by Date and Sales Agent. It doesn’t seem like the chart understands that the X axis is a date field type, and when I change the function to a Calendar Month or Fiscal month I only get 1, 2, 3… as labels and none of my users will know what that means. On a regular model, they see ‘Jan 2015’ and we can do the additional date Granularities which is great. Any way to adjust this formatting?

Hello, I have a date field on the page called “starting date” and every time it’s saved, it updates the “starting date” field in “abc” model. I want to be able to update the link using that updated date. The link takes user to a Salesforce report. Here’s the template setup: It doesn’t seem to update the filter on the report. I have it set up as Starting Date greater or equal “”. When the link is clicked, it takes me to the Report Builder. Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to get the user select Product from the lookup window. I was able to remove the hyperlink of product field on read mode, but in edit mode on selection of product name on lookup window, it navigates to standard Salesforce page (it works fine when we click on select icon against each product names, but on click on product name itself it navigates to standard salesforce page). Is there a way to override/remove link (of Product) on lookup window. I do not want to display lookup as picklist because I want users to search by product name and then select from the lookup window. I Have a page built which contains multiple pages of records and when i make an inline edit of a record and save it i am returned to the first page with the field i tried to change in the same “Edit” mode on the second page.What is the best way to try and troubleshoot / resolve this issue The field is using the standard field renderer
