Nintex Workflow

Need a little help here with an O365 workflow build. We are using "Start a Task Process" in the hopes of setting up an approval that needs ALL THREE of the approves to OK the item before moving on to the next stage. Problem is the workflow is APPROVING regardless if someone rejected. I've played around with state machine a bit, but am still getting an approval regardless if one person rejects. I thought about setting up a query, but am not sure if there's an easier way to do it (and not 100% sure of how to set up the query). I'm learning Nintex for O365 as I go, so any help would be incredible!!! 

How to prevent a user from editing a form if the value is set to a value in a specific column?

I put together a Sharepoint Online list.  There are some multiple choice fields.  When the Nintex Cloud Form is submitted, the multiple choice fields have brackets and quotations around the data (first row in screenshot attached).  If I enter the information directly in Sharepoint Online, this doesn't happen (second row in screenshot).  I made the list column in Sharepoint Online a single text field and it still does this (last three rows).  Any thoughts?  We have other lists/forms connected to the same Sharepoint Online Site that contain multiple choice fields and this isn't happening.  Am I missing something?Thanks for any information.

Hello, I am trying to put the outcome decision of an "Assign a task" action into a PDF via the document generator. For some reason, however, the "outcome" decision does not appear as a variable from that form in the document tagger. If, on the other hand, I use a "assign task to multiple people" you can get the outcome variable from the "first response" set. Is there a reason you can't get the outcome decision from a "assign task" object or am I missing something?

I am trying to retrieve user email automatically when i type the user name in a form via Azure AD, but it does not work in any functions, i.e. get user details. where the input has to be an email. Is there any workaround about it?

Hi—Could someone please advise me on whether there is a system generated report/log that we're able to view any user access privilege's or any Admin changes?  Additionally, are we able to edit the password requirements?

Can the signature block be associated with an url for an external party to view a form and complete a signature? 

I have a component workflow that is receiving dates as a string variable.The dates are supplied from another web service that is only exporting text strings.The dates are formatted 'yyyy-mm-dd'I want to convert this to a date variable in NWC.I have a variable txtFromDate (text) and dateFromDate (datetime).I tried set a variable action but the variable types are not supported. Any ideas on this?

I'm using the "Call a SharePoint web service action" feature to grant permissions to a specified item in a SharePoint list.URL:{SiteUrl}​/_api/Web/Lists/getByTitle('{List Name}​')/Items({ID})/roleassignments/addroleassignment(principalid={Approver Group (ID)}, roledefid=1073741827) The account to be granted has acquired the group ID from the specified item in the SharePoint list.With this featureIf multiple accounts are set in one item, will the loop function call the API for the number of accounts?I would like to know if there is a way to grant permissions to multiple accounts at once.

I'd like to store workflow instance data locally (on prem) for easier access / integration, and also for reopening/amending a previous instance. Our organisation hardly uses SharePoint so I don't fancy using lists.Hence I prefer to store all data in an Oracle database using a JSON call.Is there a way to generate the JSON body with <all> instance data (a LOT) without having to compile this manually, field by field?Many thanks in advance!

I am having a problem trying to get Nintex to group by and send out an update email to that group.In short I have a list with two fields, primary contact and who their account is. I want a workflow that will group all the accounts listed to the individual contact and send out an email monthly to that individual for them to if they still cover their accounts… I’m new to Nintex and tried a few things and was not able to get them to group together. Any ideas?

In the email that I am creating for a task assignee to receive, I am including a summary of the applicant's form details, but I would also like to include a link they could follow to go and see the applicant's full original form, ie: (Visit this link to see the applicant's full form) Is there a way to do this? I can't find any "Insert Variable" options to achieve this and I couldn't find reference to it in my searching for answers?

I need to make sure the filename entry field in my responsive form has no special characters in it in order to make a valid filename. Most operating systems don't like special characters in filenames.I have documented my solution to do this both in a form and in a Nintex Workflow Cloud workflow in this group post.Hope this helps you. Hi,        I'm creating a "Component Workflow" to be accessed as REST webservice over http from other application. For that I have created a start event variable "testvar", but Nintex expects "se_testvar" in the payload from other application. How can I configure Nintex to not expect "se_" as prefix in the variable used in payload? Nintex is expecting something like this{"startData": {"se_testvar": "<insert string here>"}}  while I want it to expect below payload{"startData": {"testvar": "<insert string here>"}} Thanks,Anurag

I have a Nintex Form where the applicant can select a box to allow their attached documentation to be passed on or not. In a subsequent assigned task I wish to attach their documentation to the message if the applicant allowed it, but not attach it if they did not. I could solve this with a branch that leads to two different assigned tasks but I'd rather not consume two very similar forms for two very similar scenarios (particularly since I have parallel tasks that could balloon if I do this). Can I just conditionally attach the file/s or maybe just empty the "AttachedFile" form variable or perhaps attach a user-defined variable that I set up to contain the attached files or leave empty according to my condition? I've been experimenting with all of those things and have not found any success. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am facing problems with date format in Nintex workflow with CAML query.The issue is If I use date as 2015-06-15, my workflow is works. If I replace the same with <Today OffsetDays="-1"/> the query is not returning any result. I have the date column in the following format 6/15/2015 06:00 AMPlease help in achieving this in CAML query.

When using the File Upload control on a NWC Start Event Form is it possible to save that file directly into a SharePoint Online document library?  If so can you also save the other fields on the form as associated metadata in SharePoint Online?   I have only been able to find older suggestions where the file is saved into Box or OneDrive first and I would like to determine if that is still necessary.

Hi,    I'm trying to make a call to "Component workflow", using Postman. I'm using all the information provided on API endpoints page. The token is recently generated and is part of URL in the call, still I'm getting " Workflow Instance Token is invalid." message. Is there some setting I need to do in Nintex for postman to call? I'm using the trial version. Here is the screen shot.Thanks  

I'm using the SharePoint Online "Create a Folder" action in NWC. In developing my workflow I switched over to the SharePoint site in question and created a document library with a unique name. Then tabbed back over to my workflow and placed the "Create a Folder" workflow action on the designer. I selected my connection, entered the URL to my SharePoint site, and clicked the "Retrieve Lists" button. The document library I just added is not listed. I find NWC very frustrating sometimes as it appears everything gets cached in someway. I have the same issue when I go to create a new column on a list and then try to find that newly added  column in the workflow. It also is missing most of the time and I have to fiddle with the workflow somehow to get it to see the new site column. MY QUESTION IS THIS: When I add new lists, libraries, or columns to an existing list or library in SharePoint, how do I get NWC to immediate

 I want to give edit permission of Office365 group to the specified item of SharePoint list by Using "Update Item Permission" of Nintex Workflow Cloud.The Offie365 group to grant permissions is stored in the SharePoint list item "User or Group" and I want to get this account in Nintex Workflow Cloud. However, it cannot be realized due to the following reasons.I got the item information of the SharePoint list specified in NintexWorkflowCloud.But the information required for authorization cannot be obtained from "User or Group". To grant permissions with "Update Item Permission" in Nintex Workflow CloudHow do you get the "User or Group" information? 

Outside of run ifs having 1 output path vs 2 when discussing a conditional action, what are the pros/cons of using either?Is there a large enough performance difference between the two to warrant one over the other?More specifically, even in a situation where you only need one path, does it really matter which action is used?
