Nintex Workflow

Hi everyone.I’m having an issue with tasks not generating emails, it doesn’t matter if I use a variable for the email address or test using my own email address for the assignee, an email isn’t generated.  I can successfully send an email using the send an email action later in the WF using the same variable used for the task.The issue happens during workflow testing and when running the WF after publishing to development.  I’m not sure if it matters but the WF has been developed in a demo tenant.I would like to show the use case to a client but I would like to demo the full experience of receiving an email and clicking the link to action a task form.Any advice would be appreciated.ThanksTania

Nintex is retiring the Assign a task action, which will no longer be available for new workflows as of 31st December 2022. Instead, use the Assign a task to multiple users task action to take advantage of many new capabilities around assigning tasks.Please check out the news post for more details:  

Hi All,I’m trying to access data from a people form control using a get item from collection action within a loop for each action but as you can see below, the object’s data is greyed out.  Is there another way to access the people control data? 

We are migrating to Nintex Online.  My understanding is we cannot migrate workflow history from on-prem to Nintex/SharePoint online.  We need an audit history of all on-prem workflow approvals (through flexitasks etc) generated by Nintex.  Is there a report available for this?  We can’t be the only organization requiring this.

Hi everyone,as I understand this is not possible but I still wanted to ask if there is a workaround or so. Is it possible to go backward during a process is running? For example, if a form is submitted for approval but I need to change a field's input. Can I go back and edit it? Or do I have to start from scratch?Best regards, 

Hello, is there a way to change a Yes/No field value in a form, based on that fact that there is an attachment uploaded in the same form using form rules or not?Thanks

Hi All, Currently, in Nintex WF we have classic form which has a timeline status-like bar based on javascript and CSS. We migrated the same workflow to NWC, but since classic forms are not supported in NWC, I am looking for help. Is there any way to achieve the timeline status functionality in an NWC responsive form? Below is the status timeline. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.  

I am retrieving JSON data and the dates come in as part of the string. I can parse the data and see it in the log.Query JSON All Award Date - ["44907","","44562","45219"]How do I convert the string, like "44907" to a date format so I can post the data to a date field in SharePoint?Thanks

Hi Everyone I have a use case where I need to extract data from excel. Using the Get Table Rows action, I'm able to access the data in the Rows collection but that gives me the index and row data together as one item in the collection. I need to be able to access the Row data so I can use the Get Item From Collection action to extract the required data into variables but it is always greyed out. Does anyone have a solution?   

Hi All, In my form, I have check boxes which allows a multi-selection by the user.Based on certain conditions, an email will trigger to an external party. If more than 1 box is selected, I need to include either "and" or ";" in the email, so it doesn't show as run on text. Eg the email currently looks:If selecting 3 options: "Box 1 Box 2 Box 3" If selecting 2 options; "Box 2 Box 3" If selecting 1 option; "Box 1"I need it to look likeIf selecting 3 options: "Box 1; Box 2 and Box 3" If selecting 2 options; "Box 2 and Box 3" If selecting 1 option; "Box 1"Is there a way this can be done?

Is it possible for nintex workflow to push/copy content from one list to another across 2 different site collections?

I have a SharePoint online list called CRs with a field called Application which is a lookup field to another list called Applications. The field allows for multiple selections.I need to display those values in various emails throughout the NWC workflow whose start event is a New Item in the CR list. As you might imagine, the values actually displayed in the email are the IDs of the applications in the list rather than the Names - i.e. 1; 3 instead of Clarinet; SharePoint. I know I need to somehow get the ids then loop through each one to retrieve the Application Name but I'm having a hard time pulling it together with the right actions. Hoping someone else has faced this challenge before

Hi All, I was wondering if someone would be able to provide some insight into the experience I am having. I am currently creating a form which has to be accessible as the public may complete it. When navigating the form with the TAB button on the keyboard, our form skips a large section. This occurs at the first list of radio buttons, we can navigate through the options in the radio buttons using the arrow keys, but when I press TAB to navigate to the next set of Radio buttons, it instead goes to the next property in the form that isn't a radio button, which is a multi-choice property, 8 questions ahead in the form. This is a big issue for accessibility, as the form needs to navigate simply using the tab and arrow keys. Is anyone able to assist? Thanks, ConradWilkie20

I'm struggling with site workflows in Nintex Workflow Cloud and need some help. I have a document library and a custom list serving as a task list. The document library has a workflow that creates items in the task list and sends emails to Reviewers to complete their task. A document may have multiple reviewers and all reviewers must complete their tasks. I would like to run a site workflow every day to find tasks that were updated in the last 24 hours. Then compare the Approval Status to the other tasks in the list to see if all tasks have been completed for the related document which is listed in a lookup column in the task list. As an example,Document library has a document called ABC Contract.pdf and 2 people need to review it. Task list example shown in attachment.My end goal is to query the task list and check the Approval Status column and if the approval status on all related tasks have the same status (and not Pending), then update the Approv

Start event => Start variable has boolean field Attachment, but this is always true if an attachment is available at the current list item.I want to detect if a new attachment has been added, because in that case, I do not want to proceed with the business logic in my Workflow. How can that be done?

Hello, I have written an Excel script in Excel online that standardizes Excel tables that live in SharePoint. I want to iterate through every file in ta SharePoint folder, run a script, and then take the data from these tables and put them into a single consolidated file that lives in another folder in the same SharePoint group. Can anyone help with this cloud flow?

Using NWC, when a user is completing a form while using a smart phone or device, is there a way the user can take a picture and have it saved under the File Upload action before the user submits the form? or something similar to that? We want to build a workflow where a user has to take pictures using a smart phone as part of the information needed on the form. This form will be a nintex mobile form. I did not see anything in the user guide or community site.

Hi All, I am wondering if somebody has a suggestion on build for this. I have a seven page insurance form. I created the form which works great. Now, I have to have a set of people to go through the form, basically, someone to refill the form, review and adjust, a sales person, possible outside person, and client. Because of the number of fields (300 fields) and the collections within it, I want to streamline this process.I have done something like it before but I would pass a task form to another task form which creates a lot of variables. Didn't play nice with collections.I have a salesforce connection where I thought I used to save the progress of the form each time submitted and then query information back into the other form. I have also used a loop on a task with variables in the workflow to "save" the information until someone exited the loop which was one of the questions in the form. Does anyone have any

Hello everyone, I am using a sharepoint call web service action then a query JSON to get a document's properties (name and ID) but for some reason it crashs when I am trying to get a file with a size of 80MB or even 3MB doesn't work.... Does nintex workflow cloud set a limit to these two specific action when targetting a document please ? Cloudn't found any information about the size constraint. Many thanks in advance !Best regards

Hi,I'm using the SharePoint Online "Update items" action. If I add or remove fields on the source list, those changes aren't immediately reflected in the fields available in the action.I tried closing the workflow, recreating the action, deleting the workflow and starting again. Nothing seemed to work at first, but eventually the fields did update.Is this just a timing issue? If so, how long do you have to wait? Or, is there something you can do to update the fields?Thank you for any advice.

I have a workflow that originates with a Cloud Form that includes a File Upload control. Later on in the workflow we store that file (or files) into a Google Drive folder. Is there a way to rename those files before storing them into Drive?

Howdy, I'd like to ask if anyone knows about this approval feature for Nintex task emails. My org was previously using Nintex 365 and are migrating to NWC. Using N365, when task emails were emailed to staff for approval requests, the emails themselves would have this section at the top of the email which allows one button approval or rejection: However this feature seems to be missing from the top of emails NWC task emails.Would anyone know how to reinstate this feature in NWC task emails (or if it's not a NWC feature, please advise)?

Do others get this issue?   I have a workflow that is type: Development. The next time I open the workflow in designer and then publish again it defaults to Production for type. I find it annoying and a times I miss it and my test/dev workflow as miscategorised as Production when they should be Development. It would be great when a workflow is already publised that the type value on the publish dialog persists from the previous value.

Hello. I want to convert 4 or more digit numbers to strings that don't have any punctuation.  For example, when I format the number 4444 to a string and choose "Number" as the format. The resulting string is "4,444.0". I want the result to be "4444". How can I achieve that? Thank you.  

Hello, i'm using a NWC workflow to pull data from a form and create an item in a Sharepoint List.I've enabled the attachment column in my Sharepoint settings, and my items now have an attachment field.I want to use my form to upload a file, and then put this file in my attachment column in my workflow, but my nintex "Create an Item" action doesn't allow me to select the attachment column in my sharepoint list as a field.Is there a way to interact with the Sharepoint Attachment column through NWC?Thanks
