How to capture mobile camera photos and submit them to an image library with Nintex Mobile

Does anyone has answer to my question? The need is to capture picture with mobile phone and send it to SharePoint image library, which is showing those pictures on the front page as image slider. Does Nintex Mobile support image library?

Update column list from the task form

Why in the task form, when I write in specific multi line textbox field in the form and save this form, and this field is connected with one multi line text column in the list sharepoint, the text that I wrote in the form, not shown or added in the list in sharepoint??? The multi line text column in the sharepoint is single text format, not is rich text. The control in task form is added from this list column. But does not update this column in ths list. Federico MS.

"Office 365 update items" action - problems with non text values.

When updating an item in a custom list I want to copy the updates to a another custom list with exactly the same columns.I have created a simple Nintex list workflow running on modified items. As the target list is in another site collection I'm using the  "Office 365 update items" action.This goes fine with text columns, note columns, and single value option columns.But I also want to copy updates between user columns, multi value option columns and multi value lookup columns.I keep running into two scenarios - either an empty value is copied into the target column or the workflow fails to run with this message:[InputMetaDataXml] : The 'Fields to update' is invalid. Input string was not in a correct format I have tried various combinations of the available source and target data formats but haven't found the right combination yet :-( I would expect that no conversion should be necessary as the target and source columns are of the exact same type. Please point me to the authoritative g

Acceptance of Policy Form

We have some new company policies and we need each employee to accept the policy. I'm trying to determine the best path to achieve this. I didn't know if I should take the Office 365 Word Doc and copy its contents to an Nintex Form and include a button to "Accept" or maybe even use the new Adobe Sign tool. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

O365 Copy document between sites

Hello,I need to move a document from the library in Site A to a library in Site B.  In addition the document needs to end up in a specific folder within the Site B library.  The Copy Document action does not allow you to specify the library.  The Office 365 send document to repository action requires the content organizer feature which negates the whole point of copying a document to another location. Anyone know how to move a document from a library in one site to a library in another site?Thanks,Matt

O365 extract email from user account

Hello,I have a list that contains user accounts.  When trying to perform an O365 User Profile Lookup you need the User Principal Email address associated with the O365 account (this is really stupid).  There is an option to format the User Field for an email address but our User Principal Email addresses are not the same as our Primary Addresses so this formatting retrieves our Primary Email address which causes the lookup to fail.  The UPN email can be found by formatting for User Account but it gives you the full claims account (i:0#.f|membership|someone@domain.com). How can I strip off the claims portion "i:0#.f|membership|" so that I have the correct email address to perform the User Profile Lookup? Thank you,Matt

Workflow Timeout - Specifically Web Service Call

We are using Nintex for Office 365 and are wondering what the timeout is for calling an http web service.  We are building a service that will take about 3 minutes before responding with a status code.  Will workflow timeout before the status is returned? Thanks!

O365 can't export workflow

The workflow was about 186 KB in size, can't be exported(published), if I removed the form in one task, the size got small(134 KB), It was OK to  export, I had search the maximum size of the workflow in Office 365, same questions were asked, but his case was not match mine, any solution for this?

Unable to reach ADFS url

Hi everyone, I am hoping to get some clarity on this error that has been plaguing my Tenant for sometime now. We have some workflows that login to our tenant in order to start another Workflow or to perform another task. These workflows continuously enter the 'Suspended' state all with the same error (also attached): Unable to reach AFDS Url 'https://sts.company.com/adfs/services/trust/2005/usernamemixed/' The workflow internal status is 'Details: ServiceNoResponse' All I can do is to keep retrying the workflow and it has worked, but a few hours after the fact. It is becoming a huge annoyance to my client with the delays being experienced. They are a SharePoint Online customer so I do not know why this issue occurs, where it is occurring from, and how to rectify it.

Permissions to run Workflows

Hi  I have developed an Office  form and workflow in a team site but want to open this so that "Everyone except External users" can execute the form and workflow. My users can can open the form and add an item but they are unable to trigger the workflow - there is no issue for  the team site users such as myself. Is there any special permissions I need to be aware of

Clear or set to blank/null a column via workflow update item

Scenario - Users on a form select a drop down value which I want to set back to blank after every form save I've seen a few other post how to do it on-prem but those solution don't working in Office 365.- A blank variable can't be used (error message below)     Some parameters failed the validation check.      - [InputMetaDataXml] : The 'Fields to update' is invalid. Input string was not in a correct format.- The update item column property can't be left blank- A variable cant be set to a blank value If left blank in Update List Item you get the action error My only workaround is to use a custom "Please select" item and set a validation against that for this scenario, but it wouldn't work in others.

Can't set Lookup's Select value in JavaScript Office 365 Forms

Hey everyone, I'm trying to set a default value for my "Leave Type" field which is a lookup to a list of leave types. I've followed all examples I've found online and can't get it working. I got the code working for a normal choice field fine on the form and I can also write the value of the drop down out to console when clicking a button, so everything except setting the drop down seems to work fine. Here's the HTML for my select: Here's my leave type field with it's settings Here's my JavaScript  I also tried creating the form from scratch and it doesn't work either... Create tasks for all users of a group in O365

Hello,I have an Azure Active Directory group of users.  On occasion I need to create a task for each individual user of this group.  With the on-prem version of Nintex Workflow I was able to do an LDAP query into a collection then do a For Each loop to create the task.  I now need to migrate this process to O365. Questions:- How can I enumerate the group to a collection so that individual tasks can be created?- With O365, is there an easier way to do this?  Does the Assign a Task or Start a Task Process allow for a group to be added?  Individual tasks are required.- Will these solutions work if I add the AD group to a SharePoint group then run the workflow on the SharePoint group?  As in will the process enumerate nested groups? Thank you,Matt

Get Document URL Nintex 365

I must stress this question is for Nintex and SharePoint online. The resources I have found so far focus on On-Prem solutions and I have so far been unable to convert those processes into a Nintex 365 format. I am trying to use the new Nintex feature to Email with attachments. It works great with documents attached to the list item, however the process of finding the document in the document library and attaching it manually to the list item is a timely process. As such when the "Send" button in the form is activated and the workflow begins I would like a workflow to retrieve the URLs of the documents in the document library associated with the current list item. Here is an image of where I need to enter the URL:The instructions make this seem like a walk in the park. It suggests the URL would be simple, so I entered for example stw/helpdesk/instruction/NE16023.doc. This did not work and on closer inspection of the document in the document library the full URL of the file is: https://s

Hello,I have a workflow that runs on a list and as a workflow step I need to set unique permissions on the current item.  Each item in the list will have different permissions.  I see there is an Office 365 Update Item Permissions action.  Part of this action requires a Filter - how do I configure this filter so that it only updates the permissions on the current item that the workflow is running on? Thank you,Matt

Can't update online forms and workflows, with a valid license. The button is greyed out that will update the Nintex online forms and workflows. How do I correct this?

Hello, We have a sub-site (SharePoint online) that contains the Nintex Form and Workflow app. The app tiles indicate that there is an update to be installed. When I open the tile the button to install the update is greyed out. I've tried recovering the license and did receive that a license is provided for everyone in our Tenet. I've also looked online to find updates but no go. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this error? Thank you, Dottie

O365 String comparison

Hello,I have a field on a list and I need to do a string comparison so that I can choose between two branches of a condition.  How can I accomplish this?   In the attached screenshot you will see that I have tried to configure a Regular Expression but it is not working (either with or without quotes).  I have also tried the action Find Substring in String but that does not seem to work either. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,Matt
