Nintex DocGen for Salesforce

What's the story?  I am trying to create a button that would pass the Quote.ContactId from the Quote object.  It throws an error.  Here's my button code:/apex/loop__looplus?&eid={!Quote.Id}&filter={!Quote.RecordType}&hidecontact=true&contactId={!Quote.ContactId} It also doesn't allow Contact Name to be chosen from the Insert Field.  It's kind of a big deal to be able to pass the contact so we can automate who an email goes to once the ddp is generated.  Any advice?

Can you provide an example of a use case for a relationship with a copy type of "Group?" I'm not sure how to correctly configure a relationship that uses this copy type. If it helps, this is my use case: The opportunity is my starting object. I want to display a table of the Opportunity Products, grouped by Product Family.

I have an SOQL count query that when I put it's Field Tag in the word document the number appear with comma. For example 1,500. I want the result to be a whole number e.g. 1500.

Based on the DrawLOOP docs and this question I've managed to get some simple conditional formatting applied to my output document (Word doc).  I'd like to go another step.  Is it possible to create dynamic tables based on conditionals?  For instance I have two Project types: A and B.  Can I use DrawLOOP to pull info from certain fields and display it one type of table if current project is type A but create a different looking table (with different content pulled from SFDC) if project is of type B?  I'm fairly new to DrawLOOP but the way I understand the condition formatting applied in the link above, this process is happening in Word.  To continue this way would require creating both tables in the output doc and rely on Word to display one or the other.  Can an entire table be wrapped in this kind of conditional?  Seems to me this should be handled at the document creation step- only create the

I have 3 layers of object relationships -- Opportunities, Rooms and Passengers.  Rooms are directly associated to an Opportunity (1-to-many) and there are many passengers in each room. For each Room in an Opportunity, I need to generate the same templated document but a separate output file per room (not running list in one file).  Is this possible, and if so, how do I setup the DDP to make this happen?  Do I need mass merge or is this possible in the Business edition?

I know I can set a value in Salesforce when a DDP is generated.  In my use case, I want to update a version number each time a DDP is run -- so it will start with "1" and increase by 1 each time the DDP is run.  Can this be done?  

Hey there, I have Docusign DDP tags in my contracts which provide the customers the designated spot/s for them to sign in.I'd like to add additional fields to my DDP templates where the customer should be able to either modify the existing data or have the option add it if was blank.I don't know how to get additional tags on my recipient records (Are there more options that can be added to the "Sign Options" picklist?), and any tags that I add in now are required. So for example if I have a field on the contract for the customers phone number:Basic question: Do I have access to an optional field tag, which I can put in an IF statement to generate the Docusign tag if there is not phone number on file?Ideal functionality: Is there a way to tag the document so that that the data currently stored for that field will be displayed to the customer but they have the option to edit it? Thanks!

I have an object (shipping addresses) that is child in Master/Detail to Opportunity.  The Opportunity Line Item looks up to the Shipping Address (line items may get shipped to different locations). I can't seem to build the relationship in Drawloop correctly to get to the Shipping Address.  Seems I should be able to start with Opportunity Line Item and then get to Shipping Address - but my only option to start with is Opportunity.   What am I doing wrong?

When running a Word or Excel document with multiple pages (over 100) all pages are displayed. When documents are downloaded as a PDF, not all pages are displayed. Is there a limit size on PDF output pages?

I am looking to check a salesforce field in a MS-Word doc to suppress a blank contact mailing address field,IF «CONTACT_MAILINGXYZ» <> "" «CONTACT_MAILINGXYZ» ""doesn't seem to cut it....What am I missing?Sorry still a newbie to drawloop.

I am building a SOQL query that pulls Lead information from many records, to populate a Word document template. I am trying to filter the data by Owner. I can't seem to figure out how to name the owner field so that it is recognized both by DocGen and by SalesForce. I've tried Owner.Name and many other things, and they either aren't recognized by DocGen, cause a metadata error, or simply don't return any results when I run the report.  Any ideas? We have successfully created letters to any Contact showing against an Opportunity Contact Roles related list. These Contacts may also be contacts of Accounts that are not related to the specific Opportunity from with the DDP runs. However, this is true for Business Contacts only. When running the DDP for an Opportunity where the Account is a Person Account, the letter will be created for that Person only, even though all Opportunity Related Contact Roles are showing on the DDP Contact selection list. Has anyone encountered the same problem or aware of how this could be resolved. Thanks, Greg

I am building a system that will be deployed to 8 different Salesforce instances and includes several DocGen packages. Is it possible to include the DocGen packages or do I have to rebuild them individually?

Although the old documentation was out of date, it was still useful.  Is there any sort of documentation now on doing a new setup and customization of drawloop? An example of the documentation is this url: Nintex Drawloop Learning Center  that now redirects to a generic support page.  

We have an auditing requirement that our engineers need to generate a copy of the form and store it within the project folder within HPE Records Manager. To do this I was planning on using the document generation, however I am trying to get the attachments that have been added to the form to be included in the document generation. How do you get the attachments on the Nintex form into the Document Generation? I tried adding the Item Attachments but I am getting an error complaining that it's not a jpg, gif or png file. They are of this format. Also on the top of the workflow it lists that we have 0 of 50 consumed for Document Generation, for the license expiring 30 May 2018. Is that we have 50 templates allowed to be converted or only 50 document conversions?

Where can I find information about moving my DrawLOOP DDPs and associated docs from a sandbox into testing/production orgs?  My google search 'moving DDP to production' turns up some old info about a migration tool.  But that doesn't provide anything helpful.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks

Is there a way to format a date field that is coming from a report in Salesforce and being merged into Excel?  Currently when I merge the report into Excel the date field is changed to Text in Excel and I must manually change it back to a date.  

I am using Nintex Drawloop Salesforce Application. I have created a DDP and added delivery option to store as Office 365. When I am generating document using this delivery option the generated document is being uploaded to SharePoint site folder. My requirement is to every time when user selects this "Office 365" delivery option. A copy of the generated document should also be attached to the record from which the document package was run. I have also checked the "Allow Attachments" checkbox on DDP record and also created the custom "Run Document Package" button with "Attach Back" option true. Following is my custom button code : /apex/loop__looplus?&eid={!Opportunity.Id}&attach=true But I am not able to upload the document to SharePoint and attach to the salesforce record at the same time.Please suggest how we can achieve this.

I notice one can create a workflow to auto-magically generate documents via a Workflow which invokes the Nintex webservices.  This process requires one or more Drawloop_Next# fields because each step is mutually disconnected, and so these fields are used to pass the various parameters such as attachments or delivery method.I notice when using the client-side Javascript button, all the parameters necessary for Nintex to generate the desired document are sent right up to Nintex just fine w/o any need for Drawloop_Next# fields; the user just clicks the button and checks the attachments (if any) and the delivery method. Could not an Apex Trigger invoke an Apex class (decorated with @Future of course) to automate the process similar to a Workflow, but possibly w/o the need to create one or more Drawloop_Next# fields since the Apex class could implement the rules

I am trying to implement this in salesforce , and I need to show records in a comma seperated way with last record having 'and' instead of comma right before it.

We use drawloop to generate docusign documents and excel boarding sheets for loans we originate. The boarding sheets contain sensitive information, including EIN (aka Tax ID) numbers for businesses. Until now the EIN appearing on the boarding sheet has been in XXXXX0000 format where only the last 4 numbers are visible. Is it possible to generate the whole EIN on the boarding sheet?

The value of the "p3_lkid" parameter contains a character that is not allowed or the value exceeds the maximum allowed length. Remove the character from the parameter value or reduce the value length and resubmit. If the error still persists, report it to our Customer Support team. Provide the URL of the page you were requesting as well as any other related information.  Can someone add some info on why we get this error? What is required here to fix it?I am using ProcessPdp paramaeters with Email delivery option. I get this error as soon as the document generation process is 100% and it moves to next page, which i guess is the email customization page, to enter To address, CC subject, email body etc.
