We have a DocGen package that is not showing all of the attachments to choose from and include. Is there a limit on the # of attachments for a specific DocGen package?Â
I have several document packages that have form fields. But these document packages not available in the lightning component. Is it on the roadmap to add forms to the lightning component? lightning#Â
We are currently using Nintex for Salesforce to create our customer quotes using Salesforce Products. Our next step is to house our contracts within Salesforce and use Nintex to populate fields which I can handle but I need to be able to take part of the quote that Nintex already generated and insert it into a page of the contract. Is this possible? If yes, how would I go about this?   Notes: The current quote is created in both PDF and Excel and the contract will be a word document.
Hi there, I wonder if anyone has faced this issue. We have images getting pulled in our report, however, the images seem to get cut from the bottom when the report is generated. We are utilizing dynamic image replacement on a word document. Although the image size on the output report is the same as the placement image on the template, however, it gets cut off from the bottom. Also in another case the image got flipped in the output report, could the image size be a reason for that? Can't figure why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated. TIA, S.Aj
In drawloop when you run a query or use tablestart, you get all the details in a list format. For e.g. if you use tablestart on opportunity products, the list is like below. Product 1 Product 2 Product 3 Â I want the list output to be comma separated, like this. Product 1, Product 2, Product 3
We have a requirement to be able to pass in a previously generated document when a user clicks the Nintex DocGen button to generate a document. Effectively gathering the merge fields at the time the previous document was generated and adding on top of them to generate a new document.Example:Document is generated from Case Object in Salesforce 2 months go by On different case we need to pass the document that was generated in step 1 and complete the merge fields (generating a new document that has some of the values from Document 1)Is this possible with Nintex DocGen for Salesforce?
Does anyone know if there's a way to have Nintex purge files created by a Nintex package from Salesforce storage after a certain amount of time, post creation? I am currently dealing with a double storage issue in that the documents are being auto-imported into my external repository (Egnyte) but the original created by the Nintex package is staying in Salesforce. Ideally, I'd like for this original to get purged, maybe five minutes after creation, to give Egnyte enough time to import. I've looked at the delivery options in Nintex and did not see Egnyte listed as an available option, nor would I probably want to go that route as the Egnyte/SFDC integration already has the destination folder paths set for document delivery to that repository.
Extend FTP FunctionalityDoc Gen looks like it works great if you have BOX for Cloud Storage. If you have another provider like I do (Egnyte), there does not seem to be any plug and play way to setup content delivery in a structured way. The only available option is to setup FTP under 3rd party integrations. Unfortunately, this only gives you the ability to statically deliver to one location. Given Doc Gen's capabilities, this should be simple to setup folder structures based on variables, etc.
Hi All,I am trying to pull data dynamically into my word docgen template from an external spreadsheet (static) based on unique Account Number field. The Account N.o field is on my opportunity object which i have tagged my template (Opportunity_AccountNo). Now there is also a second piece of data in an external spreadsheet from which i need to pull column B (permitted use) based on the above account number which is column A of spread sheet (Account Number). How can i pull the correct data dynamically? (please see screenshots below). Any help would be appreciated. a) Word Templateb) External (static) spreadsheetc) Intended Output ThanksAbu Â
This is a feature request. It would be really a great feature for doc gen to work with macro-enabled Word Docs. Right now when you try and run a DDP over a macro saved Word Doc in Salesforce, all you get is a doc full of Drawloop tags. No data. Â
Hi All,I am trying to replicate related records in same row rather than creating new rows for each line item.We have 5 Opportunity related objects (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and each child object has few records. I am trying to group record names by child object in one row.I have attached a screen shot for better understanding. The 'Day' column indicates child objects and Stall number indicates a record field in the object. Is it possible to get all stall numbers for each day in one row?Like belowTuesday: A13, B13Thursday: A13, A14, I55, K99etc. Thanks.Abu
Is it possible to create multiple versions for the same file instead of creating new salesforce file on every docgen package run on the same record? For ex: Let's say I have a record XYZ-0001 on which the user ran docgen package and a file "XYZ-0001" is created in Salesforce Files. Now, there's some data issue in that record that was identified and the user has corrected the data, ran the docgen package again on the same record. Now, instead of creating one more XYZ-0001 file, is it possible to create a version 2 of the already existing file?
IntroductionIn the 15.0 update of the Nintex DocGen for Salesforce application, released December 21, 2018, we introduced a beta version of our new Lightning Experience DocGen Designer, a new DocGen Package management interface that is optimized for the Salesforce Lightning Experience. The new interface allows you to create and modify DocGen Packages using a single screen; no more jumping from page to page to perform tasks and you no longer need Adobe Flash to manage DocGen Packages. Beta Program DetailsEnabling the new DocGen Designer signs you up for our beta program. This beta program provides you early access to the new Lighting Experience DocGen Designer allowing you to preview the feature early before we release a version for General Availability (GA). Support for the Lightning Experience DocGen Designer will be limited during the beta program; see below for details. As part of the beta program, we may contact you for your opinion regarding the Designer, or you may be prompted fo
We are using Salesforce and Nintex for Document generation. We are tagging an Excel Document with data from a custom object. It is working as designed. However, we have run into an interesting request. We want to only display data in the Spreadsheet based on there being data to display. For example, let's say that a field in our custom object contains data then we want to display this row in our Excel spreadsheet. If a field on our custom object in SF does not contain data then we do not want to display the data row. Now we understand that we can use conditional logic such as an IF statement to 'hide' data but this does not solve the issue as the row is blank and still visible as blank. Effectively from an Excel perspective, we want to either hide the row rather than the field containing the data tag.  We know this can be done with a Macro and VB in Excel but our understanding is that the Nintex platform does not support the automatic execution of such functionality. The other alternat
Please can somebody tell me your experience about a simple Document Generation time.Nintex for SalesforceExample: Simple DDP with 3x relationships. Template is Word Document with tagged fields Download to Record as pdf only No pictures or other items My experience is that the process from selecting "Run" to .pdf creation takes at least aroud 15 seconds.I would like to know if this the minimum time to run a simple DDP package and document generation.Do you have the same experience or is this for you much faster or even slower?NINTEX what is the minimum time to run a simple package? Hope you can react on this for me. Thanks in advance @Frank_dkÂ
Is it already on your roadmap for your product to be upgraded from flash before salesforce discontinues supporting flash products in Dec 2020?
My client has a requirement to select files that are attached to a child object. Currently, they have ability to select the files to include in a DocGen and would want to keep that ability. Is it possible to display the files from a child object on a DDP that is running from the parent object (opportunities)?
We have a requirement in which we need to run the SOQL query inside the Row replication . We need the value of row replication inside of SOQL query to display. right now it only run one time. Here is the pseudo Parent Record  <<replicate_child_records>>  <<SOQL query result based on child record>>  Thanks in advance
I use Docgen to email out letters to students. Is there an add-on report option to track who has opened the email and or viewed the DocGen attachment?
Hi All , Â I am new to Nintex .Can anyone help me on this understanding.Instead of using Salesforce workflow I want to use Nintex workflow to control execution of docGen package in Salesforce .How can achieve this.Is this recommended or not? Â

I am trying to automate docgen using batch apex. The batch was running successfully without any error while running the batch for almost 700 records but the documents are not getting created after around 150-200 records even though the package is running successfully. Any help?
I am trying to edit Email Template with merged field inside Salesforce. However, Drawloop Email Body shows the error message said, "We were unable to process the email template. Error Message: Enter an ID for a person, such as contact, lead, or user."Â
Would like to have some of our customers fill out forms via Nintex. The workflow will perform writebacks to Salesforce with Form data. For some of the inputs on the Nintex Form, the data will already be in Salesforce for that customer. Is there a way to pre-populate those values in the Start Event Form?Â
Hi, I am sending a document out to users to e-Sign through DocGen - AdobeSign delivery option. Is there a way I can get the Salesforce Record to update status, and have the completed document attach on the record itself? Somehow I'm missing something and can't get it to work.  Thanks.
