I have a workflow that includes an approval step and a later action that fires a child workflow, scheduled at a particular date. I know that in some instances, the approver will not give their approval until after the date that the child workflow is scheduled for. So my question is, if the workflow gets to the step where it runs the child workflow and it see a date that is in the past, does it immediately run that workflow, or does it choke at that point? Thanks
Estou preparando um treinamento para grande cliente e preciso do Nintex Workflow para SharePoint para apresentar o produto.

Since the last release of NWC on the 18th - Nintex Workflow Cloud - Release Notes , I've been facing issue with applying the changes to the task form. I have a long task form which i submit to the customer. Any changes i make to this form in the designer, it hangs and doesn't proceed to save the changes. I have to either go back on the browser or kill the page. Is there a limit to number of variables i can create in Task Form?Is this something known to the support? @
I am facing an error in Nintex Forms. I have problems finding the cause as the form is pretty massive (formula, lookups, rules).Error message in English (translated): "Unable to get property '_ObjectType_' of undefined or null reference"Error message in German: "Die Eigenschaft "_ObjectType_" eines undefinierten oder Nullverweises kann nicht abgerufen werden. I found a solution for a similar looking issue, but it seems not to be this issue as there is no "FormsPart.aspx" referenced in this case. As the form is pretty massive I am not able to remove all columns and rules step by step to get the reason for this message. Is there a better way of debugging? Version is 4.3.1.1 for SharePoint 2016 on premiseNintex Forms StandardSharePoint 2016 May 2018 patch level
Good Morning,BLUF: My workflow are duplicating when I publish them despite having the 'overwrite' selection and the system is randomly choosing whether to run the new or old version. Background: I have a site collection with 20 or so workflows - a combo of list and site workflows. I went to start updating them because the mailbox in the FROM of all my email notifications needs to be updated. On publish - it does make a new version but it the old version also shows - so it appears as a duplicate. See in the attached image LCSP Parralell Coord Workflow shows as 12.0 and further down you see it as 10.0. (that is because I tried to delete the older one at 11.0). You will see AIR Upload at 4.0 near the top and 3.0 near the bottom. What in the seven hells would cause this? Thanks,Erin
Hi, over Nintex O356 I have form that needs to send data to an external webservice SOAP 1.1 according to its fields (ex: created, createdby..., prcategory, prcostcenter...). Which action to use pls, Web Request or Call HTTP Web Service? Thanks
I have a Nintex 2013 workflow built on a Sharepoint 2013 Document Library. I would like to be able to attach the document used to start the workflow to task forms in the workflow itself. Is this possible?Â
We noticed some unusual things in our stage environment recently, and I'm hoping to find some assistance with narrowing down what might be causing it. The previous versions of all workflows are set to "allow" instead of "no new instances". The result is that scheduled workflows are running previous versions, and when attempting to manually start a workflow, you have a list of all of the previous versions instead of just the current version.I'm concerned that we don't know what caused this and we might encounter it in our production environment, or cause it in our production environment inadvertently. Is there a setting or something in the webconfig for our app servers that we can look for? Stage example:Production example:Recent changes include .net patching for the windows servers which broke our workflows with conditional actions and scheduled workflows. Also, the recommended fix for this was applied. We noticed this behavior afterwards, but I'm not sure if it was a result or if we j

Hello We have a SharePoint 2016 farm which was created using Minrole services. I’ve noticed that the web front end does not have Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Workflow Timer Service started by default. Should I manually start that then? ThanksMatthew
I have a repeating section that is basically an itemized invoice. The customer would like to export the itemized list to Excel (or csv), by clicking a button on the form. Is there a way to do this?
I have read this post: https://community.nintex.com/thread/3702. It still does not work for me.I am using SharePoint 2013My users have contribute access to the site I have the Copy to User Doc Library step within an Action SetI have the Action Set "run as workflow owner. By the way I am running it and I *AM* the workflow owner. Still no go. I have a pause of 1 minute before the Copy to User Doc Library step. Both the source List and the destination Library are under the same siteI have a List that I have created a simple Nintex Form for when the user is to submit a document. This form ensures that they complete the metadata before attaching the file. I do this because we cannot attach any files to a document library new item form. When they submit the form, the file should be copied to the library specified along with the metadata. Have there been any changes since 2015 that might shed light on why this step of the workflow simply does not work? Thanks,Susan
In Nintex forms, I need to compare two dates. The first date is generated by taking the maximum value of the lookup runtime function. It is brought back as a code/serial number. Ex:Â 1385528400000The second date is a value from a column within the list that the form is attached to. It is restricted to the available Nintex date/time formats, even if I use the max function on it as well. Ex:Â 10/29/2018How do I convert a date/time code to a date/time? Or vice versa?(this is cross-posted on Stack Exchange--I will update here if there is an answer there, and vice versa)
Nintex shows seconds on the display form for the date and time. This is interesting because you don’t see seconds anywhere on a standard SharePoint form, view or workflow. Also, you can’t change the date and time seconds in a form control or workflow action without using multiple workarounds or JavaScript. Even if you do change the seconds you can't display this in a view without creating a new column as string. I understand the potential need to have the seconds, but why would this only be on the Display form? Am I missing something here?SharePoint 2013:On Premise - Nintex Forms 2013: v2.10.0.0
I have a rich text field on my form called "comments."Â I don't seem to be able to add a margin or padding, within the field, so that the text doesn't butt up against the right margin:I would like it to look like this:I have added padding in the control, but I think that only adds padding to the outside of the field, not within.Any thoughts on how to add a margin within the field itself?
Question about UDAs - My workflow takes a couple attachments and pushes them to a field, then the workflow delimits these, send the delimited lists to a collection then iterates through that collection (adds some HTML) and updates that corrected list of attachments to a field in a Nintex list. The action works really well, but it's a little space intensive. I'd like to make it a UDA but i can't find instructions on what the inputs and outputs in this process should be?I've attached what my current configs are, please how can i make that a UDA? Thank you
We have a few applications developed by contractors where the data is not connected to a list column.  Where is this data stored?  Is there any way to get tot this data, if we needed to get to this data in a workflow>
Any suggestions on how to create a request or incident in Servicenow using Nintex 2013 on premises workflow controls. Call Web Service / Web Request? Anyone have an example of how this can be achieved?
We have several similar entries in our SharePoint logs for example:10/31/2018 11:32:48.43 w3wp.exe (0x0940) 0x1D0C Nintex Forms Feature 0000 High No image found in directory 'http://ourURL/_layouts/styles//SiteAssets/searchboxleftpad.bmp' to print to pdf, , Actual Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions14TEMPLATELAYOUTSstyles\SiteAssetssearchboxleftpad.bmp at System.Drawing.Image.FromFile(String filename, Boolean useEmbeddedColorManagement) at Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.PrintPdf.<>c__DisplayClass1.<GetImageFromSharePointDirectory>b__0() ae2d9322-b029-4aea-b190-377ee52fc8f7The obvious error seems to be the double slashes prior to SiteAssets.Where do I go to correct the 'http://ourURL/_layouts/styles//SiteAssets/searchboxleftpad.bmp' entry? We’re running Nintex Forms and Workflows 2010 Standard on SharePoint 2010.
i want to install nintex form 2013 but i cant i have this messageÂ
The Pause for Action appears to be logging to the history list twice for each action. The first time to log that it is pausing and the second to log it is done pausing. Selecting the Hide from Workflow Status does not affect the entries to the history list. Is there a way to turn off the default logging of the Pause for Action. It is filling up the history list with useless information.
Hello,I am using a query to create a Collection of a lookup field. The collection is called vCollTaskOwner1 with a type of collection. When I do a count of the collection, I get 7 which is the expected result. Then, I am looping through the collection using a For each loop and Index is called index. I am trying to save vCollTaskOwner1 into a variable called vTaskOwner1 - Single Line of Text. However, vTaskOwner1 is coming up blank. I am doing this for other columns in the same list that are defined as Single Line of text which works fine. Is there anything special I need to do for Lookup fields?
We recently upgraded from SP2010 to SP2013.I need to edit an existing list workflow. I know it exists because it's been working, but when I try to edit it, I'm getting "Error Cannot find workflow in repository".Specifically, if I go to Site Settings > Nintex Workflow > Workflow Inventory I see it listed but the "Last Run Time" is blank. If I then click on the workflow name I get an error "Unable to preview workflow"If I then click on "Edit workflow" I get an error "Cannot find workflow in repository"I do know that the workflow exists and runs because if I view "workflows" for a list item I see the history and results:This is for a "Picture Library" app (list). Both the list and workflow existed before the upgrade to SharePoint 2013.Would appreciate any help in recovering the workflow so that I can edit it and/or use it as a guide for recreating it.Thanks!
Is there any way to check if a user (the originator in my case) is a member of a Role? Ideally, I'd like to do this from Studio, without having to use the API.Thanks,Peter
