I am trying to get an understanding of Validation in regards to Nintex Forms and Workflows. Having worked as an ASP/ASPX Developer, it has always been stated that Server-side Validation is the Golden Rule. Client-side Validation is convenient but should be backed up with Server-side Routines. From what I understand Validation on Forms is through JavaScript--which is Client-side. Workflows would be Server-side. Client-side Validation is subject to browser manipulation and hijacking. What are community thoughts on this issue?
I am brand new to Sharepoint, Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow. I have found books on everything but forms. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can locate a book on Creating Nintex Forms?

What would be the supported way for hiding Nintex Workflow 2013 and Forms 2013 Features from the site and web features from the user interface? The reason is we would like to offer Nintex only for a couple of sites in the web application and the activation should be done manually via Powershell based on request. One option came to my mind is editing feature XMLs to hide the features, but in which feature folders exactly and what is the activation process with powershell, Which features in which order?Does anybody have a script already written? I'm not interested in the activation with stsadm and the articles written for Nintex 2007 and Nintex 2010 as there are old outdated. We use Nintex 2013 and there might be new features or different ones and the activation order would be also important. Thanks

Good evening, I single line of text field that I'm using for users to enter in a time. I'm validating the field using this regular expression: ^([0-9]|0[0-9]|1[0-9]|2[0-3]):[0-5][0-9]$ It works fine for putting in a time of, for example, 1:30 however I am wondering if there is a way to allow the user (or better yet force the user) to add AM or PM after the time. All help is appreciated.Andrew

We have many workflows with start events as Nintex Forms in NWC. In all the forms, we enabled reCAPTCHA. The reCAPTCHA icon shows next to the Submit button but the functionality is not working at all in IE 11 or Chrome browser. I checked the following blog but it did not help:https://support.google.com/recaptcha/answer/6223838?hl=en&ref_topic=6188330https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq Any thoughts on how to make the reCAPTCHA work in IE 11? We have around 10 WFs in NWC. Trying to find the fix immediately. Any thoughts?

We want to add new content into the nintex mobile app (App studio) but we want each content to be only viewable to a specifi list of users. They are basically PDF's. We are thinking to add a "Resources" tab. and each content will be a separate PDF. Our app hosts many forms that are permission trimmed on SharePoint, but we want to add the tutorials and trim them per a permission group or a distribution list. Is that possible? I don't see a way to do that in App studio, but can we use the HTML page option and purpose it to do that? and how!
I have implemented an approval workflow in a controlled document library. The workflow is triggered when a new document is uploaded or an existing one is modified. There are about 3 approval steps before the document gets published. The way I have configured the approvals is by flexi tasks, with a link to the document. The workflow works properly, however I am facing an issue with version control. As the document moves through approvers, the minor version changes; i.e. from 0.1 to 0.2 e.t.c; even when the approver does not make any changes to the document. I don't want the version to change unless an assignee checks out the document and checks it back in after making changes. I suspect the version change is caused by the fact that there's a field that the workflow updates after every approval. Is there a way to avoid version change when a field value changes?
We are using an email-enabled list (Announcements list) in SharePoint to capture intake for general support requests or form submissions. For formalized requests that use Nintex Workflows, I've added a notification action send a notification to this email-enabled list. However, even after one business day, the notification does not appear in the target list. I receive no error from the workflow, so I'm thinking there is no issue with sending, but receiving; perhaps there is Exchange-related data the list needs to see in the incoming notification in order to receive it? Just not sure how to tackle this one.The email-enabled list is able to receive other emails from outlook/exchange without any issue.Any help is appreciated!EricSpecs: SP 2013 on-prem w/Nintex Workflows 2013 Standard edition
