I’d like to create a button that in one click attaches an image of a chart to a record in Salesforce.I can conceive of some javascript that would either target the hamburger icon on a chart and click it, OR access the highcharts library directly so that you could have a download by clicking a button.Is there any javascript that can create an attachment on a Salesforce record from a given file? My use case is we have a Meetings module where an agenda item could display a chart, and after the meeting is over we need to preserve exactly what was seen in the meeting. So I’m looking for a button “Lock Meeting” that would create an image of exactly what the chart is displaying at the time and attach to the agenda item. 

Hello!  I’m using a table and 2 of my fields are template fields that are pulling in text from a child object in SF.  Ideally, i’d like to be able to filter based on text or phrase in the template field.  So i’d like to say “show me all the records where field contains text _____”.  Any suggestions?

After upgrading to Spark 12.1.3 (from 12.0.8), the design system is being overridden in many areas. Most of the issue is with dark black elements (borders mostly) where previously they were gray. Button colors also appear wrong. Examples: List component in the Design System has a Neutral + 7 hover property (light gray) In run time, the hover shows black (and the black borders should be gray.) The search area button overlaps the search entry. Table borders and the wizard connector - black border. Previously was light gray and shows as light gray in the Design System builder. Note the standard Save/Cancel button the table also looks different (the Cancel button). There’s also some overlapping issues that weren’t there previously. I did Update design system themes and that button is gone. No issues when I did that. I also cleared by browser cache and started fresh. Still there. Thanks!

I’m trying to install the new version of SKUID but even though I choose sandbox, it shows that it’s installing on prod. Any help would be appreciated. I sent an email to SKUID but have not heard back in a couple of days.

Hi Maybe, it’s something simple that I am missing, but tried every way i could and it does not want to work for me I have a wizard that on Step 5 Creates an account and related contact, and Step 6 of wizard have some page includes, to which i want to pass the 'Account ID" If i don’t save the newly created account, it send the 'Temporary ID" assigned by skuid, so does not work If i save the Newly Created account, for some reason , a complete other random Account ID is being sent I tried using the Defer Rendering of Step Contents on the wizard, but it does not help On the page include from step 6, i have this query string: id={{$Model.New_Account.data.0.Id}}and in the Page include itself, the model condition is: Account__c=(param)IdCan anyone please help me?Thx!

I want a background image on a page with text laying on top of it. I created a wrapper to hold the image. Then I put a Panel set inside to limit the width. Then, I added a Field Editor with Html Templates to pull in text from fields on the objects and have the data show with specific fonts. The template fields all have white box backgrounds, so the wrapper image is not showing through. Is there a setup where this text can lay on top of the graphic without white boxes behind it?

I am seeing a bug in one of my pages - it looks like something has not been saved or canceled but it is not letting me hit cancel and exit. (I get a red error message that says: There were 1 problems with this Skuid Page. Click to display… 1. A Skuid Model, ‘page’, requested a Field with relationship name ‘skuid__Last_Modified_Date_Check__c’, on the skuid__Page__c Object, but Skuid could not find a valid Field accessible through this relationship name. Please check that this Field actually exists on this Object (or on any related Objects). If it exists, then ensure that the user has permission to access it. If it does not exist, remove it from this Model.

Hey All,I am new to Skuid (~2 weeks experience now). My company uses it heavily in Salesforce, but I have an issue/question that has exceeded our knowledge. My requirement is to make a drop down button that combines three buttons. All of these existing buttons are contained in a Page Title component along with several other buttons that will remain unchanged. Each button launches a workflow via a JS Snippet. I didn’t find a straightforward way to create a drop down button (if you know of one compared to what I’ve done (described below), please enlighten me!). So here is what I have done:I created a custom model. In this model > created a picklist field > created and action (when row in model updated, then run 3 actions).  In the action, I have three branches. Each branch has logic that says: if the model == ‘selection1’, run this Snippet. This all works well. Trying to upgrade my Skuid instance but having trouble using the standard linkhttps://www.skuid.com/releases/?_ga=2.124674314.1886942203.1557860369-1102396205.1550600350After following the wizard to upgrade Sandbox, i eventually get to the message that, It is taking too long to upgrade and i will be emailed when its completed, but i never receive the email and after waiting awhile no change to the Skuid under installed packages in my environment.Any help with this? do i need to install incremental upgrades before i can jump to spark? Obviously missed a lot of content as i am still on Brooklyn.Is there anyway to see a log? any potential error? is it still trying to upgrade and i am not aware? Is there any other way to upgrade outside of the link above?

In Page Builder, 12.1.2, latest production Salesforce, Chrome on a Mac - this just started this week, when I click in a text field in page builder, to search for fields in the field popup window, or change the name of an action sequence for two examples, the page just freezes for about 10 seconds before it lets me input anything. It doesn’t do this first 2-3 times I do actions like this, and then it does it every time until I refresh the page builder. I’m thinking it something to do with Chrome’s cache, but I’ve worked on clearing that out pretty thoroughly and the problem persists. Is anyone else having this issue?

We upgraded to 12.0.1 in Jan-2019, after few weeks, we noticed the PageBuilder UI looks like below (nothing we can really understand and change). Anyone else had this problem and know the root cause?

We have field i.e. required on the field editor and I am using a Custom Label for that field. Once I click on save, we are getting the below error. Required Fields has no value [] But instead of displaying the Salesforce field Label, how can we display the Custom Label used in skuid for the error message ? Required Fields has no value []

If the When First Shown option of a Tab action runs the action(s) on page load, why don’t we just run those actions early on?I only want to perform my action(s) when the user CLICKS the tab - which is implied by SELECTS. v11.2.22

Hi team, I’ve come across an issue where some UI only formula fields don’t display in mobile browsers in IOS (tested both Chrome and Safari). Chrome on Android behaves like the desktop counterparts. I’m using a formula to output text using this syntax (but other output types seem to be affected as well with different formulas):FORMAT_TIME(“hh:mma”,YEAR(TODAY())+“-”+MONTH(TODAY())+“-”+DAY(TODAY())+" “+LEFT({{TimeEndMorning__c}},5)+”:00")Why wouldn’t these UI formula fields work on IOS and how can I make sure they do? We have a UI-Only picklist providing a subset - actually a different set - of values to a lengthy list specified in the database. The skuid page needs to copy the value from the database field to the ui-only field on query, allow edits to the ui-only field, and then copy the ui-only value to the database field on save. We used to do this with merge syntax on the Update-field-on-row action. Now, we have to override the picklist validation by going to XML. I am not sure if this has been asked before, but I am currently stuck with this problem. We need to make a row editable after clicking a custom Edit button. This row will be selected using the Mass Update Action checkbox of skuid table. ToggleEdit() functions works well if the table mode is “Read with Inline Editing”. But we don’t allow users to edit rows directly in the table. So table is read only. Is there a way to render a table row editable this way? I have been spending a lot of time searching for similar questions here but I think I did not any answer (or I just miss something). So here goes my first question and I hope I’ll be able to hear from someone soon. Thank you 🙂

I just created a new field to display information on my page.  Then I populated that field with information.  I added the field to the model, and added it to a component on the page.  If I view it in preview mode it works, but if I save it and view it on the published page, it does not work.  I can’t figure out why there would be a difference.  There are many previously existing fields on this page that load fine.  I can also update the record with the new information in other fields, and that data changes, so I know I am updating the correct record and have the correct URL.  I also used Javascript to output the model to the console with the fields and their data, and again it works perfectly in the preview url, but not the public one.  Why won’t the data from the new field appear on the published page?

Just upgraded to Spark (12.0.8).  Model conditions with operator “in” (multiple specified values) are not working.  Is this a known issue?

I have a chart of an aggregate model. I have a Date Range filter for that model. When I enter a date in one or both of the range options, the filter works, but the dates don’t show except for a second initially. After the model refreshes the filter goes back to saying “All Time.” I’ve tried auto-generating conditions vs. specifying existing, switching from client to server based filtering, switching the model to process client-side vs. not, it seems to be an issue with aggregate models. The very same filter on a non-aggregate model works fine.

Hi Skuid Support, My team has been complaining for about a week now that when they pull up our Salesforce Opportunity overlay, elements of the page fail to load, meaning whole tabs or portions of the page will be blank once loading is “complete”. Oftentimes this can be corrected by reloading the page, but not always, and reloading is time-consuming because the overlay is quite large. If I had to guess, I’d say the size of the page is causing queries to fail, making it so the required fields do not render. Does that sound like it could be correct? What elements of an overlay tend to take up the most space, data-wise, and would thereby be the most beneficial to remove if possible? Below are three screenshots of field sets that failed to load.

Hi, We are working on rebuilding a V1 page in V2. In our page, we have a snippet that is creating some popups via skuid.utils.createPopupFromPopupXML(popupXML). The createPopupFromPopupXML function does not seem to be working in V2 even though it shows up in the V2 developer documentation.  I tried simplifying the popup XML and actually pulled the exact example from the V2 documentation but still couldn’t get it to work. I also grabbed the XML from a simple modal and tried that, but received an invalid XML error. Can someone confirm if createPopupFromPopupXML() does indeed work in V2? A basic example would be very appreciated.Thanks!
