Since we make heavy use of row actions on our tables, it has always been helpful to see the tooltip text next to the icon in the Composer. Now that V2 has implemented Action Labels in addition to Tooltips, that ready view of a “name” has been lost. We do not want to use the Action Label as it uses too much screen real estate. It is time-consuming to select each row action individually and then navigate to the Tooltip property tab to see the Text property. Can the Tooltip:Text be displayed next to the icon (and the label) on the table component? This will allow ALL tooltips to be seen at a glance so the developer can easily see which row action to select. Somewhat less helpful would be to at least include the tooltip properties on the General tab (instead of a separate property tab). At least then the developer can click the row action field and immediately see the tooltip text.

Hello, I’ll resubmit an old request as an up vote: -I realize the vision for V2 is to not need custom CSS. There are couple things that won’t be covered in the design studio. It would be nice if you could at least inject custom CSS into the xml if not in the builder itself. It would be a last resort cover all that would allow for the conversion of customizations from V1 pages. -I would love actions on decks in V2 for conversion from V1. -I would love the various tabset formats from V1 to convert to V2. Thanks for your consideration!

Issue/Problem: In the Winter ‘24 Salesforce release, Salesforce is automatically turning on enhanced domains in all orgs, however you will still be able to disable it until Spring ‘23. Skuid has identified the issues listed below when enhanced domains are enabled. Who Will Be Affected by This: All clients with enhanced domains enabled will experience some level of change. What Could This Look Like In my Org? Issues resolved by Skuid updates Loss of edit button for admins on Skuid pages Page Problems no longer display for admin users Some File Upload methods for the “Salesforce” data source may no longer work as intended Broken Name and Reference field links in the Console view when in Salesforce Classic As well as several issues that require manual updates Issues with callback/redirect URLs Issues with Salesforce org-to-org connections Issues with data source/authentication provider endpoints Issues with Salesforce metadata cache For more information about the above and how to remedy

On Skuid platform, please add the ability to add a reference field manually, including the Reference Key Field and the Referenced Object. When you need to add a new reference field, the only way to do it is import. The import routine is fairly destructive to modifications you have made to the the Skuid Data Source. You have to document all your manual changes and re-do most of them if you import. By allowing the ability to add a reference field manually, you could add it manually and skip the import process. On a side note, it would be great to review the import process and determine what really needs to be destructive, so we can avoid a lot of manual work.

Hello, Few Ideas ‘After-close actions’ section for drawers, similar to modals. Tables publish ‘drawerClosed’ event when a drawer is closed for a table, but that event does not carry any information. It would be nice if the event included the row and model for which the drawer was closed. Able to trigger an action sequence on-page close event, opposite to ‘Skuid Page: Rendered’. Any of the above could potentially solve the following problem: I have a page that has a ‘Submit’ button and a table, the table has drawers with a page-include inside it. Each drawer is able to accept information. Submit button should not be enabled if a user has entered any information for any of the drawers. Current issue: if a user enters information I can disable the button (using events to communicate between page includes and top-most page), but I’m unable to re-enable the button if a user closes a drawer. The button should be re-enabled since the user basically discarded their changes by closing the dra

Example: Two design systems (light mode & dark mode) User can set and store their preferred design system in an object related to their user id or change their design system dynamically on the page. What are lookup filters? Lookup filters let you control which results are shown in a reference field. You can add lookup filters in Skuid from Field Properties > Filters. Why use lookup filters? Lookup filters help you improve the end user experience. Instead of being inundated with options, some of which may not be valid, the user will see only the options that make sense. For example, if you have 3 different product lines you can limit the lookup field to the particular product line you want users to be able to choose from on that specific page. App Composer Runtime Pro Tip: As you can see from the screenshot above, Skuid also allows you to customize the way lookup options are displayed in the search results and even which fields are searched.
