All- Has anyone had experience in using Standard Salesforce Quoting to generate a squid page to PDF? When using Visual Force, I am limited to having to design an entire new page layout from scratch. We would like to utilize the existing Skuid page for Quotes for this, and generate a PDF. Is there anyone out there that has exp in this?

I have a simple form in V2 (Using Boston) to capture basic contact information. The browser tries to auto-fill the fields in the contact form and they fill in, but immediately blank out. Is there a way to either support the browser fill or disable the autocomplete?

Made an action sequence to post to chatter when a sponsorship is created. It posts successfully. But, when you go back to edit the action, the parameters for Message and Target Name or ID aren’t being displayed for additional editing. The fields are empty. If I view the page XML, the field values are in there: {{Sponsorship_Type__c}} = “Contact” {{Sponsorship_Type__c}}=“Account”

Anyone have experience with files connect and if you can leverage that functionality in a Skuid page? Also, is there a prebuilt Skuid page for OneDrive data source? Thanks!

For those of you holding for the right time to move to Skuid V2, the Boston release is it. The powerful classics of full extensibility via custom field renderers and CSS is back and better than before. Better formula functions. There must be so so many new features but I honestly don’t use V1 all that much anymore.

Hi Guys, after using DSO for couple months, here's maybe some ideas that can be useful. When need to update the schema for an existing table, the only way is to reimport the DSO’s table. The problem with this is every time we do, we lose most of the fields permissions (Display Type, Sortable, groupable, ID field…) would be nice to have those saved, or to be able to import only specific fields from table instead of whole table when using DSO cannot sort by any UI-only field Aggregate Grouping missing all functions (calendar month...) Ability to give users in 1 click access to all data. New Design system has helped, but still a lot of clicking to do to giver certain profile all permissions for all tables. Would be nice to have a 'General DSO Setting instead of table per table Make Skuid so smart that it can replace me and i can go on permanent paid vacation! Will update this post if other items come to mind Thank you

Just wanted to post this here in case other folks have this crazy need to have a jSignature component in their v2 page. Step 1. build a v1 page according to the amazing tutorial here: https://conlan.us/digital-signatures-in-skuid/ (thanks again @Conlan_O_Rourke ) Step 2. on your page, move the Sign component into a Wrapper with the properties: overflow: hidden; max-height: 150 (or 70 if using on mobile) min-height: 150 (or 70 if using on mobile) Step 3. on your v2 page, add a page include. You cannot choose your v1 page, so just choose any page at all you can choose, and set up your query string as needed. Step 4. Save and go to View/Edit XML. Find the page name you did supply in your page include, and change it to the v1 page name you actually want. voila! Note that without the wrapper settings it does some weird stuff. Can’t really explain it but setting a min-height makes it work. Unfortunately the min-height on mobile is really small. Someone with more js or css experience could

Where is the calendar component in V2?

The migration of the Skuid community has already started. Although our existing community will remain up to allow you uninterrupted access to the information, the community should NOW be treated as READ ONLY. I am using API v2 and it doesnt seem to be italicizing changes that are not yet saved. Is that accurate? Am I missing something?

What happened to actions (row/mass/global) on decks in v2?  Have they never been on v2?  Are they coming soon?Latest version of the documentation still says Decks still have mass actions, so I’m wondering if I’m missing something…Thanks!

I’m using the file uploader configured to connect to google drive data source type.  I’ve got a file uploader and am successfully able to upload files to drive with it.  However, I can’t find anyway to catch the uploaded file information, such as the id or link.  I can see it in the browser network activity, but can’t find any attribute in Skuid for it.  I don’t want to just take the latest from my drive in case they upload multiple files.Is there a way to catch the created id(s) from the upload??

Love interactions on wrappers, but I am getting lost in what wrappers I have added actions to as there is no indicator on the wrapper in builder. It would be nice if wrappers that have interactions added had some sort of plus sign or something on them so you knew that had interactions. thanks!

Just wanted to point out a work around to an issue I encountered. I have a page and in that page is a sliding panel. In that sliding panel is a page include. That included page also has sliding panels. When you us the action “Close Top most” sliding panel in the page included page, it closes the topmost panel in the page included page and the parent page. to avoid this, instead of doing a page include, use a template component and do an inline frame.

This has been suggested in different ways before, but it seems like a no brainer. It would be great if we could control settings for groups of a component. Like setting the default Table to always include Mark Row for Delete row action and the Show Search Box option enabled.

First off, Skuid is amazing. Grateful to you all for building it. Second, here is an idea. For those times when you need to include a page as. Page include in a different page but you want to sort and filter models on the parent page and have those model changes effect the included page, having an option when creating a new model on a page for “Model from another page” which would allow you to choose a skuid page and then the model from that page. Then, that quasi model would stay in sync with the model from the other page if it were loaded at the same time. I realize there are workarounds for this, which I use, but having something simple and user friendly would be super. Thanks!

Just like in writing good code, there are times elements of a Skuid page need to have comments in order for any other Skuid page builder to easily understand it’s purpose.This is especially true for properties found only in the XML. ie. component conditions
