I have a skuid page with two components one is a table and the other one is a field editor section. Both uses a same object eg: contact : once a contact record selected in the table the detail fields related to the particular contact should be loaded in to detail section. How could get this done? Do I need to use custom scripts? Thanks in advance

I'm having a weird issue, i cannot figure out   I have a popup action in a table , based on 2 different models:  1-LoansOnBK (master) 2-Laon_payments (child)   When i create child records for LoansOnBk and save , they get created properly, as well as relationship field to parent gets filled automatically, but some reason except for 1st row on table , I do not see child records in popup    So popup from company "2" (see below) shows at the bottom the field of child records(payment amount) as expected  But popup from company 3, does not show the child records at all , even though they exist (see 2nd SS below for classic SF view)        This table for child records has a context condition     So not sure what I'm missing honestly. I would appreciate any help I can get  Thank you

I’m hitting a dead end with Files (AKA Chatter Feed Files, AKA content attachments). What I have built works sufficiently, but there are a couple of extra hoops to jump through that make it clunky and a bit confusing. Below are my issues that I’m hoping someone can help me through. Background: So, If I build an interface based on the ContentVersions object, it only displays files owned by the user or files that have been shared with the user through a library. However, chatter feed files are like “Content attachments”. Feed content SHOULD BE accessible by anyone that has access to the record the feed content is linked to through the LinkedEntityId field. So, if Care Manager A adds documents to our hypothetical customer Ben Franklin, then Care Manager B goes in to look at the documents, they SHOULD see the docs Care Manager A created in the table based on Content Versions, but they can only see documents they created or that were shared with them in a library. I’m attempting to configure an External Data Source to Sharepoint using OAuth.  When I type in an “external object name”, the OAuth popup appears, I input my credentials and it dismisses.  When I type something in to the External Data Source textbox again, the same thing occurs.  It does not appear that any network activity is occurring as nothing shows up in the Network log.I’ve created a connected app in Sharepoint (note that only one callback URL is permitted and I used the skuid_oauthcallback one) as well as an Auth Provider in Skuid and a Model Service.I’m fairly certain that I’m mis-configuring something but I’m not really sure what I have misconfigured as there are no error messages/exceptions/etc. Has anyone been able to configure this successfully?Skuid Team - Would it be possible to update the Sharepoint tutorial with a full set of steps to use OAuth & Sharepoint?  It’s incredibly difficult to troubleshoot this currently given how many layers are involved and no way to “t

I have a queue on my page (a List), and I need to be able to programmatically access its selected item(s) from JavaScript. I see that in the docs for the List object there is a method called getSelectedItems that gives me the selected items.My problem is I do not know how to obtain the List instance for my particular queue on the page.

How would I best create navigation that will self-highlight from data-driven criteria?Consider a portal for an application process. I’m thinking of a left navigation bar that contains components that brings content into the main part of the page (to the right of the navigation) when clicked. Each nav component (or perhaps just the text in it) needs to become a different color based on whether it’s data is in a specific status (submitted=green, unsubmitted=red, new information=yellow, etc). Since it is navigation, it probably also needs to be a different style when it is the selected navigation component as well, of course.Let’s assume I construct a model that gets the statuses of all of the application elements. I could use the Skuid “Navigation” component to build the navigation tree, but I presume I’d need some CSS trickery and/or code to say “this nav item should be blue if x and yellow if Y”, right? Or is there an easier way? I don’t see how to style individual nav items, not to me

I have a table of Accounts. Using the child relationship to show info from Contacts in the table. One of the fields is an encrypted text field - Social Security Number. When I pull this field through the Child data on the Account model, it shows up not encrypted.

I noticed a small bug when I was designing a new Home Page in which the preview would display just a white screen with no content. I narrowed it down to when I was changing the name of two models it would reproduce the bug. I saw similar issues had been noted on the community board but I hadn’t seen one specifically concerning changing Model names. I have attached screenshots of the page working v.s. after changing the model name. Finally, there was an error message in the Console I though I should add in here too. This isn’t really a huge problem right now because i’m just going to leave the model names as is; however, just felt it was important enough to bring to someones attention.

We have added SKUID pages to override the standard Quote tab and detail pages.  We’d like to override the standard ‘view’ action for quotes.  However, it looks like Salesforce does not provide a ‘standard’ view action to override.Has anyone done this?

I have just deployed a new opportunities page in SFDC to replace the original opportunities pages.  I followed the exact instructions on found here:  http://help.skuidify.com/m/page-assignments-and-overrides/l/102647-override-a-standard-salesforce-ta… as well as setup all of the proper license/user assignments and proper permissions.  But, for users that at not Salesforce Admin, when they go to the new Admin page, they are put in a page loading loop (for lightning) and are only able to see the original Opportunities page for SF Classic.  When I make the user an SFDC admin, the issue goes away.  I did verify that all permissions are correct and such but the issue still exists.  Not sure how to resolve.  

I’m curious as to whether the DATE() function (described here) is supported in a UI-only formula field.The purpose of this function is to obtain a Date data type constructed by passing in integer values for year, month and day.Thanks!

You do not have permission to remove, add new, or modify existing Pages in the Skuid module. i am trying to save with fields of my test custom object i am getting this error

Model with two Ui only formula fields (Field A and B) that use Model_Lookup to different models I then have a third Ui only field (Field C) that is a formula and subtracts B from A. This all works great until the user tries to search the table/model. As soon as it starts searching, it was locking the search bar. I traced this back to the fact it was registering an unsaved change in the model and hence locking the search bar. Solutions:Hitting save/cancel on the table allows the user to continue searching Removing Field C from the model prevents the unsaved changes issue Adding a model action to save the model upon requery (seems to be working, but is constantly saving the model) I’m not sure if its the intended design to have these fields trigger unsaved changes on the model. Saving/canceling does not actually do anything as the formula renders regardless. Right now I’m using solution #3. 2 is not viable as I need the field and 1 is not practical because it interrupts the user as they

I’ve created the Module Picklist value called Maps and I’ve uploaded the MapsBuildersJS.js and MapsJS.js static resources. It seems to be up and running via Sublime Text / Mavensmate for me. What am I missing to make this component appear in my skuid builder?

Hi! I have 3 tabs in a tab set that have one template component in each tab (LeanData, Marketo, and LinkedIn). Everything is pulling correctly, however when our reps click the links in some of those pages, they are not redirected to the correct URL that they normally would if they were in a normal Salesforce page. The links within those pages do not work for the LeanData and Marketo tabs, but do work for LinkedIn. Hi! I am attempting to create a nested queue for Campaigns and Campaign members where the first queue listed all of the active campaigns, the second queue would display the unique values of the status of the members (we have approx. 3 [invited, attending, responded]), and the third page include would show a table listing all of the members that have the selected unique status. Is there a way to only list those 3 picklist values in the 2nd queue? I know I could do this using a table and filters but I was wondering if this would be possible with a nested queue as well? Thank you!

Hey everyone, looking to see if anyone has been able to customize the New button on the Salesforce1 Recents Account’s view (please see image below, screen #2). We’ve attempted to create a Visualforce page to create a picklist of our account record types (screen #3), then go onto another VF page (screen #4), but we lose all integrity in consistent UI design. Can anyone provide some feedback on the best way to get this done in Skuid? Or if anyone has successfully created a VF page like this?

I’m having some bizarre issues, that are going to be a pain to re-create, so I thought I’d solicit the community’s input whilst I try to recreate the error!I have a page that ends up creating a parent record and some child records. This child object is a child of two objects; both objects have roll up summaries. One of them itself is a child object of yet another object. There’s other stuff going on as well with Processes built with Process Builder, but you get the idea - the system has a lot to do when these records are saved. They are saved with an action that saves both models and has the “rollback on error” option checked.There’s a managed package in this org that creates triggers based on an admin’s actions, i.e. they are in the org’s namespace. We have some of these triggers on the parent objects I mentioned before.Back to Skuid. We were having issues with this page, getting CPU Limit exceeded messages (this is in the JS console). Debugging what was going on is really difficult (

Just noticed that on an ipad mini my account detail page is only rendering the first tab. The rest of the tabs are just showing up blank. The page is working fine on any computer, and even when I tested it out on the browser on my iphone. So I’m pretty stuck. We are getting some users tablets to have out in the field.
