I have been re-skinning all of my skuid pages with the skuid-built “Lightning Design” theme. It looks pretty awesome! One thing that I have heard mentioned, is that there aren’t clear lines between certain things. For example, in tabsets, the tabs are not separated by lines, rather, they are separated by whitespace. Personally I like this, but my personal feelings aside, some users would like clear lines demarcating things. When you have tabsets within tabsets however, the look is quite different. Is there a way that I can simply apply the sub-tabset styling to the parent tabset as well? Can I get 1 to look more like 2?

I am attempting to interact with Sharepoint Online using OAuth authentication. When setting up a model, a javascript exception is encountered when a “lookup” is being performed on the External Object Name. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘scopes’ of undefined I’m not sure if I have the Authentication configured incorrectly, the model service configured incorrectly or if this is a bug. Based on reviewing the code, it appears this might be a bug but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a config issue on my end. The sharepoint tutortial doesn’t cover authentication setup and troubleshooting the different layers is difficult without documentation to cover all the possible settings. The following line of code is where the exception occurs. Conditional Rendering almost works using a field on row. Just doesn’t fully remove it.

We’ve built a custom corrective action process where within a table different business unit (field1…cable plant, hardware plant, etc.) would select responsible area (field2…quality, manufacturing, engineering, etc) and then a problem cause (field3).  So we need to have the problem cause dependent upon the responsible area which is your standard SF dependent picklist.  My issue is that I also need the problem cause dependent on the business unit since each (as an example) would not have the same problem cause when the responsible area is quality. I am thinking a snippet might help with setting field 3 after fields 1 and 2 are set but need this to happen as the row is edited. I could have the relationship in the snippet…putting in a custom object querying is even better from a maintenance standpoint.

Can we connect to the workflow monitoring report? Wanting a report to let me know whether an account has a future work flow to trigger. These will be used as an exceptions report.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong here, but I thought this worked in the past. It’s a bit of a long story, so… 5min video.Basically, using javascript to create a row in a drawer. Opening the drawer set’s the condition for the drawer model’s parent. That’s working fine. But when I use createRow() from within the drawer, the condition to identify the model’s parent gets reset to the first row in the parent table, instead of the row for the currently open drawer.Hopefully the video makes more sense than that just did.Help?

I have a model with a condition on the Status field to not show the option ‘cancelled’. I then have a multi-select filter on a table looking to the status field, ‘Cancelled’ shows an option. Is there a way to not show the option in the multi-select since the option is filtered out of the table through a condiiton? 

I have an object that has 1 record. I have an object named “UI_Only_Field__c” with a field named “Delete_Days__c” I have a UI-Only reference in an object to the object “UI_Only_Field__c” Delete Days is a number. What does the {{ }} look like in order to get the value in Delete_Days__c"?

I’m trying to set up a filter on a model field, but am running into a strange issue where I cannot select a field to filter on. I’ve attached two screenshots of what I’m seeing when I try to select a filter. Has anyone run into something similar and know how to remedy the issue? Hi All, We have a skuid page in which we are showing parent records, we have created a Drawer for that parent object which will show the child records related to the parent records. Now we every drawer we are having a Button which will allow user to create a new child records, and we are displaying it as a pop up once user click on the button. but the problem is when the pop up is opened the parent record(lookup) is not getting auto popoulated, Could you please assist on this?

We need the ability to create UI elements (drop down menus, check boxes, radio buttons) that would modify the REST call query string… I don’t see a way to do that.Do you have detailed documentation? Or ways for us to update / add query params on to the REST API calls made from a (table say) based upon other information (from UI elements as stated above etc…)?Need detailed documentation as to the capabilities of the Bonzai REST API configuration / feature function.Thank you,Alan

I would like to be able to ‘select’ a record from a table as shown in Pic 1 and have the results from that selection display as show in Pic 2-- but only the results from the selected record (right now I have a tab called Resume Results with the table displaying all records. I want the results of the record ‘selected’ from the Resume Results to display in the Resume tab). Can someone tell me how to do this?

Since I’m not a developer, I’m struggling with some CSS…perhaps someone could lend a hand? How do I decrease the height of the template component of some statistic boxes I would like to include at the top of a contact detail page. It’s currently taking up a lot of screen space, and I would like to cut it down (see below): This is my current template HTML: _Age: {{age}}_ And here is the box CSS: .box{ padding: 8px; _ background-color: LightGrey; _ _ border-width: 2px;_ _ border-color: Navy;_ _ height: 75px;_ _ margin: 4px;_ _ position: relative;_} I tried decreasing the height in the box class, but just ended up with this: Also, why is the padding larger on the blue Age box compared with the grey box? They are using the same template HTML and CSS Class… Thanks in advance!

There is some issue in displaying Rich text Area field in a table in IE9 version. The field does not seem to load properly on the page. Please let me know if anybody has encountered a similar issue.

Hi in some cases, when I have a condition on the model to set the lookup fields such as contact, they display properly as contact Name instead of Id values. In this one case, I’m using the same condition and it’s displaying the contact as record id. This is happening inside the same page. Any reason for that? I read some posts here that say I need to do something like this:        model.updateRow(row,{           Contact__c: MyContactRow .Id,           Contact__r: MyContactRow .Name        });Is that still true?

If I have 2 drawers open and I select one of the “delete” buttons it erases both records. I figured one method to fix this to only allow one drawer to be open at one time. I saw this being discussed https://community.skuid.com/t/close-all-drawers-action Is there a method to close an open drawer when another drawer is opened.

I’m referencing this topic to try to format a template field. My template field displays child records - Case Comments, in a Cases table - and I’d like to limit the number of characters displayed in each case comment. I’m using the formatDateTime function in the snippet that Zach provided, but need a javascript function that will limit the characters in my case comments field. Here’s what I have - maybe this is an easy fix for someone who is good at javascript. I’ve got a wizard that creates a new opportunity, and for the wizard I’ve limited possible record types to four options by using a field filter on the opportunity record type field. I’ve also overriden the user’s default record type by using a RecordType model that pulls in the one default option I want. My problem is that some partner community users should only see three record types. Their user profile does not give them access to the fourth, but they can see the fourth one when they run the wizard. I’ve even tried bringing in my four record types via a model, then filtering based on rows in a model, thinking that the model query would respect the user’s security settings.This is an issue I keep running into, and I’ve always just found creative ways around it, but for this example I really just need Skuid to respect the user profile’s object settings with regards to available record types.Any ideas?

Hopefully the title makes sense to you.I’m using the field editor component to update a model called ‘household’.  It works great.  The issue is I’m also accessing the ‘household’ model with inline javascript: var household = skuid.model.getModel('Household'); I’m showing specific data from that model.  For example: $('#preferenceTotal').text(household.fields.length); The issue is that when I change any field using the field editor component (before or after I save it) the value rendered in the div#preferenceTotal disappears.  I have to reload the page and then I’ll see the updated value.Can anyone tell me how I can update that value in real time?I’ve even tried: skuid.events.subscribe('models.saved',function(saveResult){ $('#preferenceTotal').text(household.fields.length);<br>}); But it doesn’t make any difference.  The value disappears.Thanks for the help!

Hi, I am trying to use multiselect filter against my model. I have configured it to remember my last filter. But  the problem is  it cannot remember my last filter. Its not happening all the time but intermittently . Most  cases if I have 1 or 2 item selected , it remembers. but if it has  few more, it acts wired. Any idea?

Hi guys i'm very new to skuid and this community ,hopefully someone can help me :) This may be simple , but cannot figure it out for the life of me.... I have 2 number fields for the same record X (represents the grand total)  Y (represent another number) I want to be able to show on aDonut or Stacked column the % Y represent compared to X Example X = 1000 Y = 300 The Donut chart would show both Slices and the Big percentage in the middle would show 30% Or a stacked bar, where Y would show in a different color (30% of the column would be blue fopr example, and the other 70 would be red...) I hope it make sense Thank you in advance!  

I have a field in a drawer that is rendered hidden unless another field = “Other”. If the field is “Other” when the drawer is opened, then the rendered field is shown. If I then select something besides that “Other”, the field does not show. This all works correctly. If I start without “Other” being selected the field is rendered hidden. That works correctly. However, if the field is initially rendered hidden and I then select “Other” the field the hidden does show and it should show.
