Who can/cannot close an incident?
Answer
✔ For a normal user assigned as a Closer, the user can close the incident.
✔ For a normal user assigned as an Incident Owner, the user cannot close the incident.
✔ If there is no Closer specified, then an Incident Owner (who is a normal user) can close
whereas when a Closer is specified, the Incident Owner (who is a normal user) cannot close.
✔ All Promasters and Improvement Portfolio Managers are always able to close an incident.
Additional Information
Incident Owner can only view the Close button to close an incident where there is no Closer assigned.
