My workflow is all of a sudden creating duplicate instances. Any reason this would occur?

Hi @AutomationPerso

Can you elaborate further?

Is this for all your workflows or a single workflow?

What is the Start Event type?

Are you using NWC API to trigger instances?

I suspect that you have may have configured multiple events to trigger a workflow. e.g. Run workflow when SP List items is created or updated.

Only 1 workflow, starts from a NWC form

What does it mean by" are interacting with the same record type"? I have multiple workflows but they start from different forms.

My understanding of "are interacting with the same record type" means either a cloud storage items (OneDrive, Box, Google Drive) or a record row (SQL record or SP List Item).

I have experienced a workflow being triggered multiple times when SP List Item is updated. (On Nintex Workflow 0365 because I forgot to specify the conditions).

Your case is most unusual. A single form (Start Event) which triggers duplicate instances.

I suggest that you raise a ticket with Nintex Support.
