XML data from repeating section that can be pulled/view in the edit form of Flexi task

Hello!I am new to Nintex workflow and form (3 weeks in) so I am learning everyday something cool to apply.I'm working on a multi level approval WF (4 levels). Each level has a specific section to update (using edit form/Flexi task) as well as reviewing the previously entered information. Each approver has also the possibility to reject the form to previous approval step(s) (see attached WF overview).I have multiple different repeating sections throughout the process and I need to find a way to get the XML data retrievable so we can view it in other steps of the process and in the final version of the completed form.The query XLM and creation of variable to store HTML data is ok. Where I am stuck is how to proceed after that. I found different options online like (XML Query, for each, collection, log history) or (Loop, Math operation for index incrementation, collection, create list), but It doesn't work for me and i don't understand how my data will be retrievable to display in edit fo

Flexi task replaced

Hello,I am working on a multi approval WF with 9 different flexi tasks. I've seen several times one flexi task being replaced by another one. I don't know exactly when it happens as I do not necessarily notice right away, but I believe it is linked to when I upload a form from a flexi task into another flexi task.If anyone could bring some light to it, so I know what is going on and can prevent this from happening again in the future, that would be great! Thank you!

office 365 item Permission operation is slow and unreliable

I performed a simple update item permission update using Nintex workflow. It is very slow and unreliable. Is it any way that It can be optimised?     Test Steps:  1- Created a simple list with 2 columns. 2- Created a workflow to update item permission (Break Inheritance and set Unique permission) 3- logged each step  4- created a new item  5- took 2 - 3 minutes to complete the item permission update.  6- Steps are logged in the workflow history  7- Create a loop to perform this operation 10 times  8- After seven attempts and a very long wait for each step, Workflow failed to set permission   Is it any way that it can be optimised and make the workflow run faster?

Rule works for a bit then fails

Hello Nintex Community,  I am looking to understand why my rule keeps failing. I am trying to us the neat features of Nintex grab a person's name and auto select their company from a choice field. The user name and company name are to be read only fields. We have a small group of users from 2  different company's. So we need to ensure we get that input from their login name and map it to their respective company. All the data from the form flows into a SharePoint list.  We have a small group of user that will use the form. When they open the form the user name is auto populated in the default field of the single text box with the formula using [Context].[Current user display name]. In the rules section I have the following rule:  The rule works for a bit then fails. Initially when I thought and tested a theory that I cannot just make minor changes to the rule, so I would rebuild it every time I wanted to add more people within a grouping (company 1 vs company 2). Copy Form Fields to List

I have a form and a list. The list has 250 items, submitted over the past 2 years. For each of these items, there are two fields in the associated form which contain data (single line text), but are not connected to list columns. The customer would now like to see that form data in the list. What would be an efficient and safe way to transfer this form data to list columns, for all 250 items?

Multi level approval - How to Reject a form for editing without losing the data populate

Hello,I am new to Nintex  and I am working on a multi level (4) approval WF process using State Machine and "Assign Flexi task" Action with "Edit form" for each approver to define new fields to be populated for each level of approval.I would like to have the form that was edited and submitted for approval to be returned back for editing.The way it is set up now, the form will be returned back to a previously state and will be blank. The data that was entered is lost. Not what I want Any help on how to make this happen would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!

Add hyperlink to task form that links to current item?

Hey folks! Seems like a simple question, but, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a hyperlink - on a form - to use an item property. We basically want a "click here" to open the item that the task is related to, but, nope. Can't use item properties to form a link apparently. Anyone got a way around this? Cheers, Rhia

Autocomplete Textbox in repeating section

HiI've attached the exported test form and the java script i'm using to autopopulate the text box from a drop down list (hidden under the text box). I need this to work in a repeating section and I'm wondering why it only works for the first item in the repeating section.Thanks

Font Name and Font Size for Variables in Workflow Task Email

I am using O365 workflow. For my task emails, I am trying to use any font other than Times New Roman, but no matter what I do, my variables all use that font. In the task settings, I am highlighting the entire email body and selecting the font & size I want, but it never "takes" for the variables.See below - in the first line, the name and department are variables, then the rest of the line starting at ", has returned RLA..." is not. So Barb's name and department are in 12pt TNR, then the rest is  14pt Calibri, which is what I selected. My workaround was to make the whole email TNR, but I hate that font and I want to change the size. There's no custom CSS for New Responsive forms or workflow task forms, and the task form is set to the default Open Sans. Where are the variables picking up TNR and how do I change it?

New Responsive Form Repeating Section auto increment

I have 2 different repeating sections on a form and I need to be able to put an auto incrementing number on the form for each item added. This will make it easier to talk to users who have submitted the form.   e.g. Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 ...... Activity 1, Activity 2, Activity 3 .....     Is there a way to do this on a new responsive form as there is no calculated value control in new responsive forms.

Date field in edit mode

Hello Nintex Community,    I am using the date field in the form with the setting to restrict past dates (this is a mandatory field too). However, I am using the form for an automation and it requires that a bot will go into the form and edit the status of the form a day or two later. The problem is that I cannot submit the form with a old date.    For instance if I fill out the form on May 1st and then I go back to edit the form on May 3rd... I cannot submit the form. In the date field  Any suggestions on a workaround for this?   Thank you 🙂

Nintex Sign (Adobe Sign) - Audit trail lost in SharePoint Library item

Hi,I am using 'Nintex Sign powered by Adobe Sign' in the workflows to acquire signatures from colleagues and then upload the signed document to SharePoint document library. However, the audit trail which is visible in the document that is attached in the email is lost in the sharepoint document library item (which is uploaded via the Adobe sign component).Does anyone have any solution as to how to avoid the loss of audit trail while uploading the document to sharepoint.Regards

Add signature fields option in Nintex sign powered by Adobe

Hi,Is there a way to 'add signature fields' while using the Nintex sign powered by Adobe?By default, the signing part is at the bottom of the document but I would like to change the position of where the receiver could sign. Thanks

How to autopopulate fields from a lookup field based on multi select

Hi, I am creating a form where I need to autopopulate Countries based on State selection. I am able to autopopulate one state based on one country selected. However I am not able to autopopulate multiple Country if more that one state is selected.  I have placed the states and its corresponding countries in another list.

Send Email Action - Send to multiple

Hi    I am trying to configure a send email action within Nintex for 365.   The email control is within a run if action and if a certain division is selected from the form then i would like to email 3 people.    Hoe do I add multiple email addresses to the one control?    I have tried separating the email addresses with , ; and just a space and neither work.    Any help would be appreciated.    Thanks    Stacey

List Lookup Problem

Hi,  I am having trouble with list lookup controls working correctly in one of my forms.  Is there a limit on how many list lookups you can use in one form? the problem I am having is when the user (on a Samsung Tablet) tries to search and select an item from the list lookup the field itself doesn't populate. If they scroll through the list however it does.  I am using the list lookup within a repeating section.  When users complete the form on a laptop/PC they dont have this issue.  They are completing the form via SharePoint and not the Nintex app.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks

Populate and resolve user email id in People column in Nintex Forms O365

Hi, I am new to Nintex forms O365 through classic designer. I have to populate user email id in a People picker column on button click. I am getting the user email id from a list. But I am not able to populate and resolve the user email to a People picker column on button click. I even tried with PickerApi as below.var PersonControl = new NF.PeoplePickerApi("#"+pplControl);But it is throwing the error as "Uncaught TypeError: NF.PickerApi is not a constructor". Can you please help me how to populate and resolve the user by email id on button click through JavaScript code.  Thanks,Kishore.

Ajax errors in Nintex Forms O365

Hi, I am new to Nintex forms O365 classic designer. Actually we are doing migration from SharePoint on premise to Online.In our On-Prem, we are have custom forms and developed using JavaScript. So when I am trying to use the ajax calls code in Online they are throwing error.Like for "_spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl" is throwing error "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'webAbsoluteUrl' of undefined"I tried hard coded with my online site in place of weburl, but it is throwing error,  forbidden 403 error at ajax url. So, I followed the solution in the blow forumhttps://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-Office-365-Forum/How-do-I-call-SharePoint-2013-Rest-APIs-from-Nintex-Form/td-p/35104Here the solution is having success and error methods, but I need the latest methods done and fail. So can you please help me to how to use my existing code ajax call with done and fail methods. Dynamic Cover Letter

Hi community! Case: Provide a dynamic cover letter for a documentation package we are automating with Nintext DocGen. Goal: Provide numbered list of all templates included in the generated doc package. So, we have 60+ templates included in this specific doc package. I've created template logic based on Salesforce fields to include certain templates depending on the requirements of the specific opportnuity. How can I create a dynamic word template that includes specific titles listed on a cover letter to reflect the same logic. So if we only have 15 templates selected based on logic then I only need 15 line items reflected on the cover letter as templates included in the package. Think of this as a book title page that highlights all the chapters in the book. Our cover letter should be dynamic and highlight all the titles of the doc templates included in the package. Please reference the image attached to see the style of list I need. Who can help me figure out the best approach to hand

Autopopulate people picker when form is in Edit mode?

Hello! My form has multiple stages. Brief description is as follows: 1. Requestor fills form and submits to Approver2. Approver sees previous information from Requestor, then fills in more fields that was previously unavailable to the Requestor In the Approver section, I included a People Picker control, titled Name of Approver, to default to the Current User. It seems that the field will not default while in Edit mode. I tried to change the SharePoint column to a single line text field to try a Set Value rule and that did not work either. A second solution I tried was to make the People Picker into a Calculated Value with Formula set to Current User that recalculates on Edit mode. This fills out the Calculated Field correctly. However, when the Approver attempts to submit, there is an error: "Please address the following:Invalid text value. A text field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again."Does anyone have a solution to this issue? This thread describes the iss

output lookup formula to form field then output to variable

I have a form that users can choose a group, the group is in a separate list and has a related email address for each group. ExampleGroupName | GroupEmailGroup1        | Group1@mail.com Using the formula   lookup("ApplicationOwners", "ApplicationOwnerGroupName", parseLookup([Form].[Application Owner]), "ApplicationOwnerEmail")   In the form users choose a group, a form rule executes the the formula above and populates the field correctly. However then i want to output the field to a work flow variable then log it.I created the form variable and query xml using   But for some reason nothing is logged when i try to Log ApplicationOwnerEmail_wfVar: ‍{Variable:ApplicationOwnerEmail_wfVar} Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.
