File versioning?

Hello! Has anyone been able to handle versioning within Drawloop? For example, if I run a DDP on a Case, and then run it again later, could I have Drawloop save the second DDP as a new version of the first file? I know I can have multiple files saved on the case from each run, but I'm hoping to use the same file and just update the version.  Thanks in advance!

Pulling information from multiple custom objects of the same type?

I'm new to DocGen, and I think it has the potential to be extremely useful throughout my organization, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up a Word template in such a way that I can pull information from multiple objects of the same type.   Let's say I have an object called "Client Contact," and within that object are entries for Jane Doe and John Smith, both of whom work for Employers Inc.  Within the entries for Ms. Doe and Mr. Smith are a number of fields (e.g., name, DOB, date they joined Employers Inc., mobile phone, home phone, email address, etc.).  (I should note here that my use case does not involve clients or their personal information, but the principles are the same.)  I'd like to include in my Word template selected pieces of this personal info for each client contact, and I'd also like to include their names at several points throughout the generated document.  However, the way I've been setting up my DocGen packages, the field tags generated in Salesforce ar

Conditional Formatting in word document - Null fields

I am struggling to write an if then statement for a null condition.  Here is what i am trying to do: If all fields have content in Salesforce, show this way:Attendee Name, Attendee Title  If there is no title in Salesforce, show this way:Attendee Name  Here is the code I am putting in Word <<Attendee_Attendee_First_Name>> <<Attendee_Attendee_Last_Name>> { IF <<Attendee_Title_Form>> = “” “” “, <<Attendee_Title_Form>>” *MERGEFORMAT} When I run the report - I get this:First Last IF Title = “” “” “, Title” or if there is no title - I get this:First Last IF  = “” “” “,” I can't figure out how to write the code in Word.  Any help would be appreciated Thank you,Karen HimesWestern Energy Institute

Force locale to en_GB/English for certain documents

Hello, I need to set the locale of some docgen documents in Salesforce to en_GB or English date formatting, DD/MM/YYYY and completely ignore the user's locale settings. This is because I have multiple users that require to print in this format but most of the time don't have those locale settings (they want to view salesforce and print other documents in their local date format). I have tried doing "MERGEFIELD <<Field>>  @ DD/MM/YYYY" * MERGEFORMAT" but I get mixed results, sometimes the month or day gets swapped around.  Ideally, I'd like to use the "locale" section on the "Docgen Package details" section to force English locale on certain documents. However, if I put in "en_GB", it doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

How can I replicate the columns in a table?

I am creating a table of child records and I only need the record name field. To align with the customer's template, the child record numbers should align horizontally and not vertically. I understand that there is a way to replicate the columns in a table, but can't find any documentation that shows how to do this?

Custom DocGen Button

I'm creating a custom button and running into some issues.  When users click the button, it should automatically run a few different docgen packages.  It should run 2 packages and also run 2 other packages if certain conditions are met.  On my custom object, I have it setup so the required conditions are met for the 2 additional packages, but when I click the button I only get 1 package to run and that package is one of the conditional packages. Below is my code:/apex/loop__looplus?&eid={!Client_Checklist__c.Id}&accountId={!Client_Checklist__c.CompanyId__c}&autorun=true&ddpIds=a0jK0000003k9ucIAA%2Ca0jK0000003kF1PIAU,{!IF(Client_Checklist__c.sdocs_web_indicator__c=TRUE, "a0jK0000003k9svIAA", "")},{!IF(ISPICKVAL(Client_Checklist__c.CBP_Checklist_Status__c, "Complete"), "a0jK0000003sRqCIAU", "")} The only package I get to run is the last one that is dependent on the checklist status picklist equal to complete.  Any thoughts on how to get the others to work?

Salesforce - Excel document template start range not the default

I have a DDP setup (and have worked with Nintex/Drawloop for Salesforce for about 2 years) and I'm using an Excel doc for the first time to pull in information from a pre-existing Salesforce report. My problem is that while I am able to get the data from the report to print to a sheet (Sheet1), it starts in cell A1.  I want to put some header information above it.  Basically, I want to start the table listing around cell A8 or so.   I've read several pieces of documentation and haven't been able to figure out the right syntax for Sheet & Range combinations.  I have only seen that you can give a sheet name and not a range in Excel.  Can someone confirm if this can be done?

Best Practice: Updating DDP COMPLEX Component & Component Groups

I have a DDP in Sandbox and Production. They contain 270+ components with specific logic for each component. Production is the most current due to small language tweaks.  I need to make modifications to the Production DDP, but of course, don't want to do that actually in Production.  I'd like to:1. Deleted the DDP from Sandbox (I don't want re-fresh the Sandbox because I'll lose all of my test data of 200 records - multiple relationships, etc.)2. Migrate the DDP from Production back to Sandbox3. Edit about half the existing 270 components (adding a new line of criteria and adjusting the logic)4. Test everything 5. Migrate Sandbox back to Production to simply update the existing components. IMPORTANT: I don't want to create a new/duplicates DDP or duplicate components. Is this approach logical/do-able AND most importantly fail-safe?!? Thank you,jt

Conditional Content: Quote Merge Fields and Custom Related List

This is a really wonky two-part Word document requirement.    1. I created a row table to display a custom related list. If there is no data to display, I don't want the empty/blank table to display. How does one do this? 2. In a row table, can I have conditional formatting to display Quote record fields IF a specific Product is selected from the standard Products functionality?

How to format time Fields? Field tagger shows a different format for time on word document.

I have time fields from an object that I would like to display on a word document in Nintex Docgen. I tag the object using the Field Tagger but when I generate the word document all fields show ok except for the time field. It is in a format of military time with Extra zeroes. Any idea on how to get a standard time format? E.G. 8:00PM or 10:30AM?

We have two files that are attachamnts to our emil. Docgen combines both files into a single email attachment. Is there an option to specifiy each file be separate email attachment?

Salesforce - Adding E-sign to the Document Package using Nintex

I am new to Salesforce and the Drawloop(Nintex for Salesforce). We currently have a workflow where the Quotes are auto generated and converted in to a PDF using the Drawloop Package and Sent as an email attachment to the recipient. We need to now include the Esignature functionality so that the receipient can view the attachment and sign them. I am not sure if it is best to use Adobe sign/ Docusign/ if there is anything else that comes out of box with the Nintex.Also is there any samples for adding the signing component in to the PDF that gets generated

Pull in a related contact as a signer with SignNow

I've created a document that I send out via SignNow for electronic signature.The source (custom) object is an invoice. The invoice is related back to a project (our projects are steadily invoiced over time so a project will often have multiple invoices).On the project there are some specified contacts (who is the client project manager, who is the client project billing contact etc)All of the relationships are fine and I am able to add any of those project level contacts to the document. Here's my question: when I configure the DDP I am unable to find a way to specify one of those project level contacts as being a SignNow recipient so that when you run the DDP the name of that recipient is already populated which means that currently the person running the DDP has to check who that contact is first and then do a lookup of them when they run the DDP (you can see below that Signer 4, the client contact, is blank) I have tried seemingly every option in the dropdown field for 'specified re

The Salesforce formula field value won't display in merged document

We are using this to generate legal documents. Here is the structure of things: Case ...Point of Contact (links accounts and contacts to the case, for example 2 Defendants, both Defendants Attorneys/Law                Firms and an Insurance company with that Insurance company's claim #) .......Affiliation (links different points of contacts to each other, for example a Defendant1 and their Attorney1 and                    their Insurance account) On the Point of Contact object, there is a relationship established to the 'Affiliation' object.  One of those relationships is for Insurance.  The claim # for the Insurance is currently stored on the Point of Contact object.  PROBLEM: When I generate a document from the Point of Contact Defendant 1 record, it pulls in Attorney 1 and the Insurance.  However, I can't get the Claim#.  I created a formula field on the Affiliation object to house the Point of Contact Claim#. I included the tag for this formula field of 'Claim #', and although a va

Attach output of two different DDPs in email.

I have two templates, a Word and an Excel. The output of the Word template needs to be in PDF format and Excel template should keep the original format.After the document generation, I need to send out an email with the two outputs as attachment. Here's what I've tried:I added both the template to the same DDP but the delivery option doesn't allows me to set the output type on per template basis. I created two different DDPs but I can't seem to find a delivery option to get their outputs in the same email. Is there a way in which I can get the output from both the DDPs as attachment to a single email. Thanks

Using a Relationship for a Checkbox of Yes or No

Hello. I am fairly new at using DocGen through Salesforce. I have a question on the DocGen form I am preparing. It is in relation to a yes or no checkbox.I already have the relationship built, with alias of Temps, in the DocGen package that has a filter set with two identification.I am not sure how to set up the export option to check "Yes" when the two filter conditions of the salesforce record status are true.Can someone guide me through this or point me to a video that shows how to set this up?Thank you so much!

CC and BCC not displaying in email component

After running the package and selecting the delivery option of EMAIL, the "cc" and "bcc" does not display. Any thoughts on how to have both of these fields displayed in the Email component???  The DocGen Nintex Documentation shows that those fields are optional (See photo below), but I am not able to see them or find an option to add those.    Any thoughts on how to have these two fields appear within this component?

Apex data relationship

I have two main objects and one junction object and I want to retrieve data from one main object for corresponding Id from another main object . I have tried soql for this but I am unable to retrieve distinct data ,and after using my apex class I am able to download template but it's empty with no data in place of docgen tags

Filter Component Group Based on Checkbox Field

I'm trying to create a component group that populates text based on a custom text field in salesforce. If an account has sub-companies listed in the custom text field, then I want them to appear on a separate line in my document with Related employers: Sub-company 1, Sub-company 2, etc. I can get the above to appear, but if there are no sub-companies I want the component group to be deleted so I checked the box to delete container if empty, however my component group will not be empty because it has the words Related employer: before my field tag for the custom text field.  To get around this I wanted to add a filter to only pull the component group if the custom text field is not blank.  Since I don't see a filter option for is not blank, I thought I would create a custom checkbox formula field on the account and use that checkbox for the filter.  If the checkbox is checked (field is true) then I want the component group to populate.  If the checkbox is not checked (field is false), I

Salesforce DocGen Relationship Options Disappearing

The issue I am having is that I create a Docgen Package, I select the following two relationships.  After the initial creation though, when I go to add more relationships via Application__c(#1), it disappears as an option.  The Application__c(#1) option inside the Medical_Record__c relationship also disappears and so I cannot edit the relationship. Because of these issues, it seems that the Docgen is not able to operate correctly.  Can anyone help me identify why this is happening inside the relationships?

Translate a numeric value into a checked box in a Word template?

Hi, I have a roll-up summary field on a Contracts object, that counts additional Sites who would be taking advantage of a Contract's pricing. The contract form I'm populating represents this as a checkbox (to indicate that the site page is warranted). By using a roll-up field to determine the presence of these child sites, I can avoid user error... BUT is it now possible for me to tell DocGen that a Word box field should populate as checked, if the source field >0?

I'm facing the issue when sending the email from Drawloop. I have selected the delivery option Email and checked the checkbox Auto-Send. When I'm sending an email it's giving me an error. Please help me what I have missed because everything is fine from my end so could you please help me. Thanks

Removing decimals in word

Hi, I'm currently working on a form using order products from Salesforce. The order product doesn't allow the removal of decimals in SF, so I am trying to remove them per the customer's request in the proposal document we are creating.  I've found reference to round(), but can't find directions on how to use the runtime functions in my situation.  An example of my tag is <<OrderItem_TotalPrice>>.  Is there a way to add a function to remove the decimal and have the result be only the whole number?  I appreciate any help!
